As of the end of 2023, Candid ceased all direct-to-consumer clear aligner products and services, and are no longer associated with this profile. Candid announced this change via news publications, on its website, and in digital communications to its customers. In the two years following the announcement, Candid assisted customers who had purchased aligner kits in completing their treatments, obtaining refunds, and beginning retention. The final day to purchase retainers as a direct-to-consumer customer was March 8th, 2024. Candid no longer provides aligners, retainers, treatment accessories, dental records, or refunds to direct-to-consumer customers. Those seeking clear aligners or retainers manufactured by Candid should work with a dental provider who uses their CandidPro product.

Haven't finished treatment, but so far the experience has been good. They really need to have more agents answering on the live chat. I rarely get any help there.

From start kit to financing to getting my aligners, candid has been AMAZING. And I’m not sure amazing is even good enough of a word to describe them. When I got my kit some pictures of my teeth weren’t good enough for review so they requested new ones, whereas they could’ve just went with them and however things turned out, they turned out. But no. They requested new and right pictures. When they started working on my aligners, I spoke to someone about financing and the first company didn’t fully finance. I was the one that requested trying the second company. They didn’t make me feel like I HAD to go through with anything. They weren’t pushy and eager to make a sale like most places, making you feel uncomfortable. Plus I love that someone is always available to talk to and they explain thoroughly. Once you get your aligners and wear the first pair for the first 2 weeks and do your scan to move on to your next set, it’s not just an “oh it’s all good move on to set _” they explain it thoroughly like “progress is tracking nicely you can move on to your next set of aligners.” (Unfortunately mine happened to tell me I needed to see a dentist due to plaque but I have not been to one in years) but they are informative, helpful, kind, thorough and customer service is incredible. I highly recommend candid to anyone looking to do the clear aligner straightening. They are just as good if not even more phenomenal than these other companies and half the price.

good progress

I am a little more than 2 months into the 8 month planned aligner adjustment process, and it is going as described at the start. Some discomfort for a day after changing aligners but this is manageable with some ibuprofen. I know the pain is a necessary part of progressing forward. I see the changes in my teeth spacing and it is accomplishing what I wanted.

Great so far

Great so far. Only feedback is that the feedback given by candid after each aligner check upload is relatively generic. It does not instill confidence that an orthodontist is truly reviewing, but that could also just be because I’m doing a great job and the only things they can say are “keep bruising and flossing” and “don’t forget to clean your aligners” etc.

Just get braces

Not making a difference on top of Wearing the aligners every waking moment. The docs just send messages stating I'm making great progress, when in reality they're just gas lighting me when we all clearly see NO difference. I have a few more months left so let's see.

Love the product and the process but…

Love the product and the process. My only issue is that I have to pay for more whitening foam. The bottle they send leaks and does not last long at all. Should provide free refills on the foam or send a bottle that will last the length of treatment. Aligned fit well for the most part, some trimming has been needed on all my sets so far.
