Worse experience ever took to long

Worse experience ever took to long , was let down . All they are interested in is money and commission. Not worried at all about the customer .I picked my car up today missing the parcel shelf and the spilt hot chocolate in the arm rest and front seat not even cleaned . A mystery shopper would have a field day . I would never buy again from them . As for the staff very polite and smartly dressed . I’ve even got pictures to prove it and speaking to other customers while waiting said the same thing

My deposit wasnt returned

Put a deposit down for a car me and my partner were interested in on the 7th of may, then decided we didn’t want to get the car, the staff member we spoke to over phone said we’d get the deposit back within 3-5 working days, after a week we called to ask if they had sent it as we hadn’t received it back, all they said was that’s they’d chase it, another week goes by and we’ve still not received it, it’s now the 28th of may and after 4 phone calls of them telling us they will chase it, we have still not got the deposit back. It’s a joke, I wouldn’t recommend this company at all, due to there lack of professionalism and ability to actually do anything about an issue. If I could give 0 stars I would!

They generally care 10/10

The service is amazing they have a very big selection of cars. The customer service I received was amazing from after sales to initial viewing every request i made was listened to and acted upon which made the hole process much easier. Genuine 1st class place to find you next car the sales advisor I delta with was called Talha he saw that the car was cleaned and really for pick up he was also able to show me highlights features of it the place is genuinely one of the best

Everything started well had an…

Everything started well had an appointment but the car was very dusty not prepared for us ?
The whole process was slow a long hot day but overall the car in the end we agreed to fix some things come to an agreement that suited us then the car will be great . But I am still waiting for my deposit back every time the contact by phone was terrible way to slow hanging around forever however Harrison was fantastic so helpful great guy

Unprofessional and a lying business trying to silence people.

Third time lucky - Car Planet seem to think they will have the last word but I can assure you that will not be the case. I was ignored for circa 8 weeks with my complaint not being dealt with. It appears that Car Planet are quite to reply to bad reviews but not action legitimate complaints or people right to access data which I am still waiting for.

Car planets own sales department are pushed for good reviews I know this for a fact. The way they treat people is little respect and lie as they did to me on many occasions. They do not care about their customers nor do they care what car they sale as the first car I bought nearly caused a fatal accident. They think by ignoring emails people will just away in silence but that will not be the case. I will continue to post bad reviews until my complaint is resolved. Car Planet have shown via email their lack of customer service or have a level of professionalism. There after sales department is a joke. I was constantly lied to by a person who did not care and had to be dismissed from talking to me by his manager. In the last 8 months 3nr Aftersales Managers have left the business, that clearly shows the poor business they are running. Please do not buy a car from Car Planet and if you are brave enough to do so please get it checked the second you have it.

Car Planet have continued to fail to…

Car Planet have continued to fail to respond to my emails. Please be warned this Dealership do not prioritise the safety of their customers. Please reach out to the Facebook page dedicated to highlighting Car Planets contained failings and their failure to check their cars. The good reviews on Car Planet are not all true. Car Planets sales department are pushed to get good review upon sale the same day and if they do not hit a target of good reviews within the month they have reductions made on their monthly salary. This proves that Car Planet are constantly covering up their poor cars by getting reviews on the day of sale before the car has been given to the buyer. Please hear my words do not buy a car from Car Planet.

We completely reject the false and misleading claims made in this review. At no point have your emails been ignored. Our support department contacted you last week and clearly advised that your request is currently being dealt with, and that we would be back in touch once the process is complete.

We therefore find it extremely unfair and unethical to publicly post inaccurate statements suggesting there has been no communication. We also strongly reject the allegations made regarding our business, staff, and reviews.

Car Planet has maintained clear communication throughout and will continue to handle this matter through the appropriate channels.

Sold a faulty car and stole my deposit

Sold a faulty car and stole my deposit! Do not buy a car from this garage I was told to pay a holding deposit for a car when I bought the car I was told this money for the holding deposit would go back into my account? Where is my money? I have sent over 50 emails to this place trying to get this car repaired or refunded the car was sold dangerous with bad brakes so much for the big inspection they say they do before a car is sold they are frauds!! Be prepared to be without a car and drive if the whole way to Enfield to get any repairs done!!! After sales are a joke you get one person to deal with and no one else can talk to you apparently, sent another email today and got ignored. They have one chance to sort all faults or by law you can get your money back my solicitor is now involved!!! Stay well clear from this shambolic place money grabbing scammers!

The information in this review is extremely misleading. We have already communicated with you extensively via email and have continued to respond to your concerns, despite your repeated failure to follow through on your own statements and commitments.

As explained to you on multiple occasions, the issue was reported outside of the initial 30-day period. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, any issue reported after 30 days provides the dealer the right to inspect and repair the vehicle. An appointment was arranged for this process, which you failed to attend.

Furthermore, despite the public allegations being made, we have still attempted to assist you fairly. You claimed that these concerns were raised within the 30-day period, and we therefore invited you to provide supporting evidence such as emails, messages, or call records with our staff. To date, we are still awaiting this evidence, which you continue to avoid providing.

The only phone call evidence sent to us clearly showed communication outside of the 30-day period and did not contain any mention of rejecting the vehicle.

Making false and exaggerated public accusations as a publicity stunt is both unethical and misleading.

Very happy with my new car and Car Planet

From start to finish, everyone at Car Planet was very helpful and found the best deal for me. Initially spoke with Eraldo who provided a great overview of the car I bought and was very personable. There was some waiting around here and there for figures to be sorted but the place is comfortable to wait in and there’s tea/ coffee / water on offer. Great product overview, they have warranty offers, paint protection offers and interior protection offers. Spoke with Dino regarding the finances and made everything simple and easy to understand. Handover was very straightforward, Mustapha handled this for me. Only downside for me was the waiting around for the car to be washed, took longer than expected. There’s a lot of customers so that could probably explain the wait. Overall very happy with my new car and the service received from Car Planet Watford.

Good service from the full team

Good service from the full team, there was good communication with full transparency throughout. I had constant communication with Zac and Talha, whilst I was waiting for my car to be ready. Mash from support team was very helpful and ensured I was looked after.

Car Planet - STAY AWAY!!!

We saw a car and went for a test drive on 20th March 2026 which went smoothly. My wife decided she liked the car so we put down the deposit and went to collect it the next day 21st March 2026 and paid in full and purchased the 5 day drive away insurance. When the sales rep tried to purchase the road tax it did not allow us to do so. We was told DVLA site is down and we should try when we get home and every time we tried it did not go through so we had to go to the post office and were told we can not tax the car as the V5C document was registered as a disabled car and we will have to wait for the new document to come through. I feel Car Planet staff should have known about this and we had to wait 10 days before we could tax the car. So we did not drive the car for 10 days and when we eventually got the tax and my wife drove the car the engine light came on soon after and when we got this seen to we were told the power steering pump has stopped working. Since then I have called Car Planet six times and have been put on hold to speak to someone for over an hour without success. I then decided to email and no response. We got the pump replaced and 3 weeks later we get a response back and when we spoke to them they said we should not have carried out any work without there consent. Well if they had responded to me emails and phone calls I would not have done so and be out of pocket. Since then no resolution and when i contacted them they said my case was closed. I have had to part exchange the car and have made a £3500 loss as the dealership said the car was a Grade 5. Please stay away from this company as once they have your money they do not care about you at all.

Unfair dealing with prospective buyers despite asking for a deposit of £500/- rather than£99/-

On 15th May 2026 I paid a deposit of £500/- rather than £99/- as per their website to reserve a car an told them I will come on Sunday the 17th May 2026 to view Mercedes Benz A Class.To my surprise on 17th morning I was informed that the car has been sold without giving me a priority.Salesman sent we a video on 15th May 2026/and assured me the car will not be sold unless I opt out.Dealing in such a manner does not go well for CarPlanet.You need to be honest with the prospective buyers.

We were well looked after and the sales…

We were well looked after and the sales assistant was very helpful with everything, the car i brought was well checked over again before I left and the follow up phonecall was much appreciated.
Reception could do with fixing up a bit and a lick of paint and the vending machine needs some sort of fixing!!! the noise it makes when not in use is annoying and I feel for the receptionist listening to it all day.

I cant thank you enough.
