I never enjoy shopping around for merchant providers even with all my years experience of having to do it.

But these guys seemed to make a refreshing change compared to past experiences. They were nicer to deal with, not pushy or too sales led, and they came up with a fairly competivie quote that I was happy to accept.

They are only part of the equation though - I'll still need to deal with the merchant bank from here on in - I can only hope they're as acommodating too.

I received the price increase letter from Worldpay and they were not that interested in keeping me. I went onto one of the comparison sites and Card Cutters was the first option. I had questions, so I rang the landline number, not an 0845, and spoke to Alison, she found my application and very quickly made me feel that I wanted to move my business. Her rates and explanations of how these should come down more over time were almost secondary, just speaking to somebody in the next County (Nottinghamshire) made it feel like I was trading with another local company trying its best to make an honest living.

So far so good. Very good communication both phone and email, as you are actually speaking to a UK based person.

All communications, future billing has all been explained.

They found us a very good deal for both merchant services and terminal hire and the process for setting all this in place went very smoothly. Managed to get card terminal in the last minute, Card cutters have done a great job.

I was recommended Card Cutters by Ogone when I was looking to get a credit card payment gateway for our website. Their staff were very patient with all of the explanations of the service. They provided very good documentation about charges, fees etc. and were prompt and reliable when having to call back with answers to any of my questions.
