Very poor booking experience and misleading availability.
I submitted a car rental request through their website, where hotel pick-up and drop-off were available to select. Only after submitting the request did I receive the following message:
“During the full season, we do not provide service to hotels. We only serve pick-ups and drop-offs at the port or airport upon arrival.”
This is exactly the kind of thing that should be clearly stated before a customer spends time choosing a car, filling in details and submitting a request. If hotel delivery is not available during the full season, then it should not be shown as an available option on the website.
Calling it a “request” rather than a “booking” does not change the issue. From the customer’s perspective, the website allows unavailable services to be selected, which creates confusion and wastes time.
I found the response unhelpful and dismissive, especially after going through the whole process. A professional rental company should keep its online availability accurate, especially during high season when customers need reliable arrangements.
I eventually booked with another company that actually provides the service it offers.
Would not recommend unless you are picking up directly from the airport or port, and even then I would double-check everything before relying on the reservation process.
