The Odyssee in search of the ideal…
The Odyssee in search of the ideal trousers has come to an end. It took me a year of constant research, frustration and disappointments, but at the end, I finally found my ideal trousers, the CASATLANTIC EL JADIDA.
I wanted my ideal trousers to meet all the following requirements: a classic straight and high waisted cut, available in multiple colors, made of a robust machine washable fabric, being comfortable, relatively affordable, very versatile and of a non intrusive elegance.
The El Jadida meets them all.
I will also acquire the El Jadida in deep navy, sarge green and probably black as soon, as they are available again in size W30 L34. A dark brown version would by the way be also great to have.

Amazing quality and fast delivery
Impeccable construction and cut (Mogador), the choice of 10.3 oz cotton indicates that the trousers will be very durable and versatile. Time will tell how long the trousers will last, all in all good value for the money.

Best trousers for the money.
This is some of the best trousers for the money right now. Frist I bought the Safi model, but it was a bit too baggy on me. I exchanged for the El Jadida which is a perfect fit for my body type. The trousers have a classic high rise with room enough so that the trousers drape nicely. The fabric is a heavy sturdy twill with no elastics added. Just top quality in the sewing and cut.
