Ordered a circular saw online, arrived next day which was brilliant, so good so far. I decided that the saw was too big and I wanted the 165mm as opposed to the 184mm model. Returned to CEF Chelmsford last week. They processed the return and ordered the 165mm model. I was thinking that the saw would arrive in-store next day but it turns out that it is a 5 -7 day wait for in store orders which was not explained at point of sale. Not good😡

I cherish the prompt and professional service from all CEF branches that I’ve used particularly the team in Chelmsford branch. The team at the Chelmsford branch are very dedicated, friendly, diligent reliable and dependable. My business wouldn’t function properly without their unflinching support.

Ordering online was easy, although through my own mistake, I forgot to add VAT to the prices displayed, so it ended up costing a bit more than originally thought. Returning items to my nearest store was also very easy. Would use again, but would be more careful ordering online next time to ensure it get the prices correct

The service is always first class and very prompt. If there are ever issues with suppliers they communicate and work with you to resolve/find alternative sources. Mark, Paul and the team all have good knowledge but are also listen to contractors advice re the products stocked.
