The build team that CLL used were very polite and hard working. They built the conversion as per the drawings we had put together by our architect and to our requirements. Our home has been transformed by the loft conversion.

The project manager from CLL Giedrius worked hard and answered all our concerns and questions throughout the process.

The only thing I would urge CLL to work on is their customer communication after the contract is signed and throughout the build process.

I would recommend them.

Very pleased with the finished job. From the first time we met Huw who put our minds at ease, explained the whole process start to finish which is why I eventually chose CLL as they came across as the most professional. Barry was our project manager however we felt the communication at times was very poor, appointment keeping could have been better that said Barry did a great job with the other aspects of his role with very few hiccups along the way.

The fitters Gregory & Daniel did a absolute fantastic job, and good job to the plumber, electricians and plasterers.

The Central London Lofts team were friendly and efficient, and finish on their work is really good quality. Easy to have them in the house and they make big efforts to minimise mess which was appreciated. They completed the job on time and we're really happy with it.

Minor hiccups along the way but they were very adaptable and accommodating when these happened.

We were really happy with the quality of finish on our loft extension. The guys worked in difficult circumstances without any complaints (a difficult tenant who wouldn't move out!). Would definitely recommend.

I can't give this five stars, simply because the work took a lot longer than initially planned. However, Barry from LCL did very well in managing through the various delays and resolving a number of issues that emerged during the build. As for the work itself, I am delighted. The quality of the work is to the highest standard. Mark and Dave are real artists and took immense pains over the smallest details. John's electrical work was exemplary, and my decorator marvelled over the quality of the plastering and other finishing. Top quality materials were used throughout, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended.

I can't fault this team. From day one of my loft conversion every trade carried out everything they said they would do within the time frame and cleaned up any mess every day. Also surprised by how quickly the project moved along. Good communication from the surveyor and the project manager and the tradesmen had a professional approach at all times. They showed up on time everyday. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending CLL to anybody wishing to undertake their attic conversion

We chose Central London Lofts to convert our loft space into a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and are very happy with the results. The builders, plasterers, finisher, plumber and electricians worked very hard and were polite and cleaned up at the end of each day. The loft was completed ahead of schedule and the job was managed by Ali who was always available to answer questions and deal with any issues.

A good company, the work was completed within the stated time frame, and with minimal fuss and bother. We would use this company again without hesitation.
The boys on the job were thoughtful and worked hard and always with a smile.

Central London Lofts are and must be the best loft company in London the work carried out at my property has been excellent. The workman are the best always on time and hard working.

This is my second loft job by CLL, so you can guess I am happy with the company. However, on both cases I have had the loft shell done and not the whole loft (that comes later for me). The quality of the job has been fantastic on both occasions, though communication between all the parties concerned has to be clear from the outset and monitored throughout. The speed of work has also been impressive.

Ali Sayit was the project manager this time round. Ali appears very conscientious and keen to serve the client. He's also very polite. I was very happy with him, quickly resolving snagging issues, as you get them always in building works. CLL has also been flexible to tend to our needs, as there were delays with installing the french doors that were supplied by another company, including also the Juliet balcony rails.

The learning lesson for everyone is to better manage expectations, as it seems impossible to assume there is unity in understanding of needs, desires and associated issues between the company, the project manager, the workmen and the client. But they did a good job in this respect overall and their best quality is that you can talk to them and be able to resolve things.

I am happy enough to have already recommended CLL to my other friends.

As with all these things there were elements I was happy with and elements that were very frustrating. We've never had a loft done so I have nothing to compare it with nor do I have other companies to compare CLL with.

Let’s get straight to the point! Would I recommend CLL? The answer is Yes but with certain proviso’s. Overall I was happy with the end product. The build seems of a good quality (though I am not a builder) and they certainly know what they are doing.

What I would say is make sure everything you have discussed is put down in writing because if it's not than you end up with a 'but we agreed to this conversation'. As the PM isn’t there during the sales process he can only go by what has been put down on paper. There was a couple of times when I had to point out even though it was not in the contract it had been agreed on.

The process didn’t start of great. We were told six weeks from signing the contract and the job starting. It ended up being closer to ten weeks which was very frustrating for us as the build ended up being over the School holiday’s. This was simply because they had taken on a few jobs and the lead time changed from six to eight weeks to being closer to ten weeks.

When they did start it was all very efficient and very quick. The whole build was around eight weeks which I believe is very good. It would have been even less had it not been due to suppliers letting CLL down a couple of times. Throughout the whole process it feels like your waiting and waiting to make a decisions and then you feel like your rushed into making a few decisions almost instantly and as a result of that I felt there were a couple of fundamental things I wish had done differently. I have since spoken to a few other people who have had their loft's done with other loft companies and it seems like this maybe common practice. If you’re considering getting your loft done plan well ahead and go with your gut. Anything you need to order make sure you do it well in advance irrespective of what you are told.

The Project Manager: Ali Seth was a pleasure to deal with. Overall he is someone I would recommend and if he is your Project Manager you will be happy. He was engaging and willing to help and was always upfront with you.

The Workers: The Builders, Plumbers, Electrician and a special mention to Thomas Vatikevicius (the final fit guy) were all very good and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

To conclude overall I felt they were an efficient company and did a good job and I would recommend them.

After some research we decided on CLL because of their positive trust pilot reviews and overall were very pleased we took that decision. Communication and professionalism was good from the outset and even though there were some minor issues (as with all building projects) , they were resolved with minimum fuss and our loft was completed on time and to a very good standard.

Ali was our on-site project manager and managed our loft conversion very well from the start. Communication was good and he and his team did their best to ensure minimum disruption while making sure the project continued to run smoothly and on time. He also made some excellent suggestions such as moving a velux window to over the staircase and putting in a Juliette balcony instead of another window.

Overall we are very happy with the service we received from Ali and his team so would recommend CLL for any conversion project.

Overall CLL did a decent job. They were late starting but I've come to expect that from builders. Once started things went quickly and according to plan. There were pretty hefty delays particularly during the roofing because at the time CLL didn't have enough roofers for the number of jobs they had on. This resulted in a temporary indoor waterfall as there was quite heavy rain during the period of no roof. Why the roof was removed without a roofer ready to go is still beyond me.

Barry was our manager and there were quite a few issues with communication early on- not being told when workers would or wouldn't be there, or when they would need to put a hole for pipes in another room resulting in plaster dust all over funiture etc. Although frustrating all was managed. The company were having issues with their workman at the time (our builders smoked in the conversion after being explicitly told not to smoke inside at all, and cigarette butts were dropped into our downstairs neighbour's garden, they also made some mistakes not following the plans). These workmen were fired from CLL during our conversion and were replaced which far more efficient workmen.

Overall even with the hiccups and many headaches, the work was completed and completed well. In the end Barry acknowledged the problems there had been and his honesty was a breath of fresh air. After checking all the work we made the mistake of paying the final balance (with some discount due to issues) before waiting for a heavy rain. We had raised concerns that water might be coming in at 2 spots but were assured this had been fixed. It hadn't been and despite trying to get CLL to fix the issue, in the end I had to get a new contractor to come round to fix the roof- a 30 min job.

After the final payment CLL avoided my calls and refused to phone back despite MANY calls from me. They also never sorted our final certificate from the surveyors. I was able to contact the surveyors directly and they forced the issue on my behalf completing the paperwork.

All in all there were plenty of headaches and every stage had to be overseen and double checked by us (using our original architectural drawings we had had done). Communication was an issue although this improved. The work is of a good quality and the new bedroom and bathroom is lovely. The finishing issues were never resolved by CLL but in hindsight I should have held the final payment until all niggles were 100%.

My family and I are really happy that we choose CLL for our loft conversion.

Matas the project manager and the project team led by Janus were efficient, polite and friendly. My loft conversion was completed in 5 and half weeks!!!

I’ve recently had a beautiful new loft space with en suite bathroom constructed by Central London Lofts; thanks to David for getting the process started, to Barry for project management, and to all the guys for their work. The builders -- Sasha and Andrei did most of the building work -- were very efficient and did an excellent job. Neighbours have remarked on how quiet, tidy and quick they were. The plumbers, electrician and plasterers also worked very hard on their parts of the job. We did have a few disorganised moments along the way but fortunately any problems were resolved. Overall the whole process went more smoothly than I had anticipated. I’m delighted with the end result and very pleased that I chose this company for my project.

Central London Lofts recently completed a loft conversation with on suite for us. I have to say that we are very pleased with the end product and would not hesitate to recommend CLL to anyone else. Huw, their salesman, was really good, very enthusiastic and knowledgable. He had some excellent ideas, which we took on board. Works started on 4th January 2016. Our project manager, Barry, was very good too. He was very approachable and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Tadas the main builder and his team were superb. They worked extremely hard and relentlessly. They were faced with some very cold and wet weather conditions but nothing seemed to slow them down. The other teams including plumbers and plasterers were also very good, hard working, polite and tidy. It was very refreshing to deal with true professionals! Great job! Everyone knows that having major building work done while living in your house can be very stressful (especially if you have children). After talking to other companies and hearing about some of our neighbours' experiences, we decided to go with CLL and we're extremely happy. Ivras and his team were very professional and hardworking - didn't even stop for tea! - and project manager Barry would visit at least once a week. Of course not everything was perfect all the time, but they were very understanding when we pointed something out and went out of their way to fix/adjust/adapt to our requests. Plus from the scaffolding going up to everything being ready - including tiling and wooden flooring - it was just over a month! A lot quicker than expected. The finish was great and I dare say considerably better than all the loft conversions we visited in houses identical to ours done by other companies. After having the wardrobes made and the walls painted, we're now enjoying an amazing master bedroom with ensuite. I couldn't recommend CLL enough.

I interviewed 3 other companies, I have chosen Central London Lofts and my choice was perfect.The team were hard working, they cleaned and tidied up all mess every day. The building manager was very proffessional in his dealings with me. The job was completed on time. I didn't have any stress, I trusted workers and left them at home many times. i am delighted with my new bathroom and bedroom.

Just wanted to say that Central London Lofts completed our loft conversion approx 10 weeks ago and we are so happy with the extra living space we have now. The work they carried out was done professionally and well within the timescales (which i was very pleased with)

Our goal was to have our own space and ensuite. Slight difference when architects provided plans for our ensuite which we decided to change. Started just before Christmas (two weeks) and ended early February. Fantastic. The workmen were really good. Always came on time (often found sitting in van before 8am) and worked with minimal fuss or disruption to us. Even when we had no roof they made sure everything was secured well before leaving each night. Project Manager, Matas left emails to keep communication flowing. Very helpful. A small problem with electrics, once they were told it was looked at and fixed instantly. End result is lovely. We are happy. Would definitely recommend CLL.

With hindsight it was felt that when we planned for the loft room, a virtual design would've help us see what the end results would be..
We have a slope that means we have to adjust wardrobes sizes.
