quite a late review but nothing has changed since. My skirting order was weeks late, very poorly packaged, averagely primed and half the ends were damaged. this was 2 years ago. I complained and got Zero response. just looking to do more of the house but will go elsewhere despite matching risk.

Delivery was later than website highlighted and in 2 separate deliveries. Communication extremely poor. Would not use again or recommend

Order got delayed and when I cancelled it because of this (now over a week ago) I still haven’t got my money back and no one returns your call.

I've had trouble getting the skirting boards I ordered in the advertised 5 working days and had to chase them up a few times. I ended up having to tell the receptionist what I had ordered, style, depth etc as they said they were busy moving.
Then half the boards arrive on day 8, all smashed up! The other half no where to be seen.
Bit of a disaster all round so now requesting a refund. The company immediately contacted me and agreed to a refund and apologised. It appears part of the buisness has moved out leaving a trail of orders not processed properly.
I have to say thankyou for resolving this so quickly and promptly, the staff deserve a thumbs up 👍

Disastrous and incompetent. I ordered 22x 4.2M skirting boards. they turned up poorly packed, about half damaged and unusable. In addition, the primer was unevenly painted, with a ripple effect, which would have resulted in a very poor painted finish. They accepted the return after I provided photographic evidence but had to chase 3 times for my refund. My advice is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Honestly I wish I could leave a better review as customer service seemed really lovely and like they were trying to help, but their delivery company is abysmal. Late delivery, no delivery, then half a delivery. Ultimately I ended up having to get half refunded as it never arrived and buy my own somewhere else. Then they delivered it when they shouldn’t have and I had to pay someone else to come remove it. Ultimately out money by using this company.

The complaints process is limited to sending a letter to them. Not fit for purpose as a way of helping customers deal with problems

Disappointing service, poor communication, and no ownership of the issue. It took 19 days, for the fast delivery service, to receive nothing. Unable to pass comment on the quality of the product as it never arrived.

Second order with this company. I am happy with both the service and quality.

Second order with CE, small amounts for a DIY project, and I have to say, im happy. Primed finish is a bit rough but all in i think its good value for money. Glad they dropped the minimum order value for free delivery as that suits my needs better (i cant be storing 4m lengths for until i'm ready to fit them). No problems this end, and trust me, i'd say if there were.

Would you believe what CE Skirting told you if?......
-CE Skirting advised you that they were willing to send a short (only few centimetres was asked for) sample of architrave and you confirmed delivery address to them on 30th June
-sample did not arrive and when CE where contacted on July 11th they apologised for the fact that sample had not arrived and said it had been sent by Evri and they would contact Evri to "find out where samples were and get back to you with an update today." Never heard back.
-Needed sample urgently and wrote to CE on July 12th offering to pay cost by Bank Transfer of sending by First Class Post. Was told sample would be sent by First Class Post "free of charge."
-Sample still not received by 15th July. Advised Oliver at CE Skirting by e-mail - who has not even bothered to respond.

Do you also conclude that the service CE offer to their customers is indifferent, at best?

They only get one star because they make promises they do not keep and apparently this entitles them to a 1 star rating. Polite words fail me.

This company should be shut down. Beware they are now using the name Cuting Edge kkirting co.uk
They send out damaged flimsy skirting boards, say you have 24 hours to report any damage. Who unwraps 20 or so skirting boards all packaged supposedly intact within 24 hours? Especially if the carpenter is not around for a few days?
They then charge or the replacement boards, charge for delivery and do not send out for ages using the excuse that it is the couriers fault , they do not have the phone number for said courier so have no responsibility for where the boards are. Avoid at all costs. I will also post this review on Cutting Edge Skirting boards as they are one and the same set of cowboys.

Placed an order for express delivery and tbh there’s no express about it paid £25 for the luxury of them bringing my skirting when ever they felt like it will use someone else next time

Avoid this company at all costs. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.
Ordered skirting and architraves on 3rd April.
Eventually received the architraves 2 weeks later after several emails chasing it with Oliver.
Still not received my skirting boards and has been 3 weeks since original order and Tuffnells have said they have delivered them today and that I have signed for them when I clearly havnt and still not got the rest of my order!

If had ordered with my usual company I could have had them delivered, fitted, painted and have dust on them by now.

Absolutely ridiculous service.

Skirting arrived 6 days after ordering (supposed to be next day delivery as advertised)skirting boards had chips all over the paint job must have been done by the local primary school although this is a insult to the school. If u want skirting with a pebble dash finish this is the place to go I will need to sand skirting back and paint myself and fill in the dents worst skirting I have seen anywhere.

Ordered in excess of 40 metres of Torus skirting which was delivered on the correct day. However, the carrier (Tuffnells) do not give a delivery window.
The primer finish is quite rough and will require sanding before final coats. I haven't had to do that with suppliers.
I would have primed it myself if I had read earlier reviews and saved a bit of cash

Avoid this company at all costs. Sent damaged skirting I paid over £400 for and CE Skirting refuse to do anything about it. No refunds or even exchanges. I was willing to swap for another skirting and they refused to help in any way. Now £400 out of pocket and have had to fork out for a skirting from a different company. Never had an experience like it.

We were let down by another supplier and had to get skirtings in a hurry, Cutting Edge delivered the next day. Delivery driver also very helpful. Special thanks to Oliver in the office. RS

Don't waste your time ordering from here, i put an order in for express delivery and after waiting 5 days past the delivery slot all i got was promises and excuses. Apparently the shipment of 2 large packages got split up, then tracking showed one had been delivered when it clearly had not, then miraculously they found both and said they where on the van and would be delivered, i waited 3 more days and to no suprise of mine they did not arrive! i finally got my money back through Amex, so save yourself the hassle go somewhere else !!

Ordered skirts and arcs, pre primed, they got delivered and left on my front garden, I didn't sign for them. I took them in to my house later that day and found out at the weekend the there was no way near enough arcs. I contacted them and they have told me it's more then 24 house so they can't do anything. What a joke. Should have listened to the other poor reviews
