Ordered some Regency Ogee as a fairly good match to the existing skirting board. Quick delivery and looks fantastic.

Worst experience ever - AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I misread a delivery message and consequently missed the delivery from this company. I realised within half an hour and rang back to see if the driver could return with the skirting boards as he had failed to leave them in the safe place (despite me being told in email correspondence that this is what he would do if I was not in for the delivery). He refused to do so. I was then told that if I wanted the goods to be redelivered, I would have to pay a £50 fee. This is even more than what the original delivery charge was! I said I didn't want to pay such an extortionate fee and requested that they instead cancel the order. I was then told that if I did so, I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee (which worked out at more than the redelivery charge). I rue the day I ever placed an order with this company and would advise anybody else against doing so. Their terms and conditions are the most unfriendly towards consumers that I have ever seen. Please spend your money elsewhere.

Ordered some Victorian skirting board from Cutting Edge… great company to do business with… arrived within 7 days… they always answer the phone… and Oliver helped out with delivery times etc. The delivery man was excellent… turned up early too! Ignore any negative reviews… my experience has been excellent!

Company does not support consumer rights and has terrible customer service. Do not buy from this company. What a joke and waste of money.

Avoid this company. I cancelled an order within 2 working days and they’ve charged me a 25% restocking fee for an order that never left them. I checked this with trading standards (who are now investigating this company’s practices) and since this policy is nowhere on their website and they didn’t highlight this when I ordered, trading standards tell me that this practice is illegal. My bank is making a chargeback for the full amount. Don’t accept what they tell you about restocking fees - it’s bogus- fight back against illegal and underhand money grabbing.

Not trust worthy, slow delivery, bad quality goods and none responsive communication

Ordered Primed Skirting on line. Easy process. Delivered when they said they would. Well packaged, no damage. Good quality for the money. Can't complain at all.

Refunded £45 out of £144 order-Horrible service and didn't refund for the returned products. Initially I ordered few skirtings over the weekend and paid extra for quick delivery. But when I called on Monday, they said they couldn't delivery before next weekend. So I wanted to cancel but they said in that case they won't refund my full money and deduct 25% of restocking fee. This is totally a scrap given my the company in terms of restocking when the items are not made and just ordered. So I was forced to wait so that I dont loose my money. Then they delivered a non coated mdf looking brown skirting. To which I didnt agree and returned it. Then when I followed up for my refunds I was refunded only £ 45 out of £144. When I requested them for full refund they again came up with restocking and courier charge blah blah. I have never seen a fraud company like this. So if you want to save your time and money then DONOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL END UP LOOSING MONEY and waste time like me.

Delivery was quicker than stated and door linings arrived well packed and undamaged. Good start...

I purchased 8 door lining sets, pre primed.
The legs are rebated to accept the head. The rebates are all over the place, not square and varying depth.

The edges have not been sanded at all prior to priming.

Tardy response from Cutting Edge Skirting did not include an apology. I was asked to photograph every board that was below standard and would be sent a replacement. Too late! I had already spent considerable amount of time re-machining the linings and sanding.

To conclude, poor product, well below acceptable standard. Poor customer service who wouldn't acknowledge issue.

Ordered from cutting edge 2 years ago, ordered enough skirting to do the two rooms I was going to refurbish. Came to do the second room this year and finally got to finish my project, unfortunately because of a design change in the second room I found I was short of skirting by about 1.5 meters. I tried to order a length on their web site but unfortunately they have a minimum order of £40 plus delivery! I tried to call them and kept getting cut off, so I thought I would email them to see if there was anything we could do to come to some sort of arrangement, unfortunately they did not reply to my email. So very poor customer service, and I, stuck with a wall with no skirting on it.

Paid extra for the Next Delivery and three days later they are still figuring out where the heck are the skirtings between them and the Tuffnell depot (delivery company). Neither them or Tuffnell answers their customer service calls. Avoid at all cost.

Update:
Their customer service Mandy has been pains-taking chasing up Tuffnell depot and eventually managed to deliver our skirting boards 3 days later. They also agreed to refund the next day delivery charge in the end. Given the board quality is pretty good, I change the review to 4 stars from 1.

Order arrived and had no protection on the ends of packages so these were all damaged (luckily I didn't need any at full length so I was able to cut the damage off).

on unwrapping the items the finish of the primer was terrible and the cut edges of the MDF were rough along with the pattern. The website states they go through various sanding cycles but it's very clear these didn't. It took me an extra day sanding all my order in to get them into a state I could use them.

It took them 11 days to respond to my complaint and all I got back was they think they were satisfactory! well I won't be ordering anything further from them and would advise anyone else to stay clear of this unprofessional company that doesn't care about standards or customer service!

Was apprehensive about using CE Skirting after reading some of the reviews but was the only place I could find the skirting I needed.

Placed order on 7th September with a delivery estimate of 5-8 working days. Received an email from Ann Marie on 9th to say it'd be dispatched soon and I'd receive an email. Because I was going to be away I replied to the email and requested for it to be delayed - I received a prompt reply to the request and it was dealt with.

Dispatch and delivery tracking was provided and I've just received the delivery this morning - well packaged and in good condition.

Overall very pleased with my experience. Had I not requested to delay the dispatch it would have arrived within the promised 5-8 working days.

Great company . Skirting looks amazing, will definitely be using again in the future.

Would advise not to use this company, ordered skirting board three weeks ago, was told delivery would be in 5 days of order. Received a tracking notification on the Friday to say it had been delivered, called to say it hasn’t, apparently there was a problem with delivery their end, would deliver on the Monday, didn’t arrive called again and the order had gone missing, said it would be fast tracked to be delivered Thursday, it wasn’t, called again and spoke to a manager not interest in the problem, rude and no clarification when we would receive order. We are still waiting with the no communication/refund. We are in the process of contacting trading standards.

I've ordered architraves 15 days ago, and i'm still waiting for the delivery. They are saying 5 to 7 working days, but none of them know where is my consignment today. Neither CE skirting or the courier company.
Terrible service...and when i see all the bad reviews, i'm really afraid of the quality i will receive. To avoid at all cost.

I ordered primed chamfered skirting and it arrived on time (6 working days after ordering), and is as expected - no scuffs or marks on the front side, measurements were correct, no sanding required. The only shame was that the delivery courier (Tuffnells) didn’t offer detailed tracking but it arrived just after lunchtime so we didn’t have to wait all day!

Very poor qaulity product, avoid at all costs.

This is my second order with Cutting Edge, the quality was great as usual and my items were delivered within the expected timescale. I ordered Ovolo Big and it did not disappoint.

Just rubbish. They claim 3 to 5 working days for delivery. They openly admit after you have ordered its 5 days then on the day of delivery you get a 10 hour window, then you receive an email saying it will be tomorrow. They wont re deliver so you have to take more time of work. If you email them to say your disappointed you get a highly sarcastic response. Avoid like the plague.
