Je dépose cet avis pour alerter sur les pratiques de facturation de Checksub. À l'origine, j'ai souscrit à une période d'essai pour tester l'outil. Le résultat ne m'ayant pas convaincu, j'ai immédiatement entrepris les démarches pour annuler l'abonnement et faire valoir mon droit de rétractation légal.
Malgré l'envoi de plusieurs e-mails restés sans aucune réponse de leur part, j'ai constaté que les prélèvements continuent. Pire encore, leur interface est bloquée : il est techniquement impossible de retirer ma carte bancaire car le système prétend qu'un "plan est actif", m'empêchant de supprimer mes coordonnées.
Une tentative de débit de 70,80 € a eu lieu le 28 février alors que je ne souhaite plus utiliser ce service. C'est inadmissible de retenir les données bancaires des clients en otage après une demande de résiliation.
J'exige le remboursement immédiat de la somme de 70,80 € indûment prélevée, ainsi que l'arrêt définitif des tentatives de débit et la suppression de mes informations de paiement.

Je teste actuellement , mes vidéos sont en arabe ce qui n'est sans doute pas le plus facile pour les expressions etc... Je vais comparer avec une video traduite par une traductrice humaine, mais il me semble que c'est quand même pas mal du tout !!!

I like checksub very much, the reason I don't give it 5 stars are below:

- the editing process could be optmizied, for example there is a Find & Replace function but not a "Find" only option. You can't search for a specific word in the subtitles and jump to that location

- you can't manually enter the number of a subtitle line to jump to, only scroll up and down to find it

- equally, you can't manually enter a timestamp, you can only scroll back and forth on the timeline

- you can't highlight multiple subtitles and apply a custom design or remove a design, this can only be done individually

- you can't copy and paste subtitles from one location on the timeline to another

- generally, I find the text editing a bit clunky

- a handful of other minor issues (that I won't list in more detail)

Having said that I give it 4 stars because I'm very happy with everything else. I can't really comment on the speech recognition because I don't have a lot of experience with it. I've not seen examples of extremely good and extremely bad speech recognition so can't really compare. The text it generated did have a few gaps and errors but overall it was ok I think (I used Spanish).

Checksub support has been absolutely amazing, they have replied back super quickly to any query / problem I've had and even offered a screensharing session to explain some features to me. Can't recommend their service highly enough.

Translations are good and when they’re not they’re easy to proof. I also love that I can easily edit the audio tracks. Will use again for my next project!

I do contract work for companies looking to spread their videos overseas - tbh this is a pretty useful prgram. I used to use heygen, but my friend recommended me to try checksub. Overall, it's easier to use for my purposes, and it's cheaper too - sometimes they ask for some sound mixing as well, and editing audio is a breeze

This company was so professional and I love it really fit my need, ,effective and easy to understand when I used it, introduction was clearly and detailed.i will recommend my friend also.

The transcriptions are so quick and easy. Really saves me a lot of time and money

Our translator said the results were the best for whats shes seen so far. She likes that it finds the errors and puts it together.

It doesnt cost any extra to collab with my team which is nice.

It could be difficult to use if you dont know your way around these types of tools though.

I had very very bad results (no matches at all in the generated subtitles). The customer service claimed I selected the wrong source language to cause this, but this was not the case.
Another platform brought way way better results for the same price and with the same source material. Will definitely not use checksub anymore.

Be wary of the free trial, they don't send out any notifications about the ending duration of it like most brands do.

I just tested it out once and left for vacation, seeing that I was charged for the WHOLE price of a FULL YEAR.

I wrote immediately to the support team after seeing the money charged from my card, but I was left on read and no contact.

Not cool.

I understand this is my responsibility for the free trial, but having a letter about the ending of it or atleast responding to your customers and solving a refund doesn't seem like a big deal.

I was promised extra credit because a simple refund is not possible in this company, immediately after I paid and did not order anything (red flag), and I did not receive it. After that the chat was cut off. They are scammers, do not trust this sevice. 0/5

Good automatic generation for subtitles. I had some troubles positioning them in the correct spot in my video, but the team assited me quickly by chat and then they fix the problem to my video for me. It worked and I will use again this tool. Thanks

Super site pour les sous-titres de vidéos, il sont très prêts de la réalité et personnalisables. Je recommande vivement
