I've dealt with quite a few plant nurseries over the years, both online and in person, and I have to say this was one of the better experiences I've had. From the moment I placed my order, communication was excellent and I was kept updated throughout the process. The plants arrived well packaged and in fantastic condition, with no signs of damage or neglect.

What impressed me most was the quality. Every plant looked healthy, well established and clearly cared for before dispatch. It's refreshing to find a company that takes so much pride in what they supply. I'll definitely be returning in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality plants and reliable service.

Very easy ordering, very prompt delivery, always willing to go above and beyond. We buy a lot of trees and hedges as a company and they always make it happen despite the quantities. We will always use Cheshire plants ! Keep up the good work !

Bought hedging plants to cover my back fence. I ordered 50 plants but only 49 turned up. After a quick phone call they couldn’t apologise enough and sent out the plant for the next day. Would recommend, great customer service.

YOU DO NOT KNOW A COMPANY UNTIL YOU NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Earlier this year i placed a large order for various potted plants plus 9 conifer root balls. The potted plants are thriving but 8 of the conifers are dead.
Now after many emails from me ( and very slow response ) , they tell me they have been left to dry out and die , which is rubbish. I countered by saying that perhaps the roots were cut short or they were out of the ground to long or the van had them for to long. Asking for a middle ground, that lets us split the difference and refund 4 of the 8 . But no reply , they are not interested. I know plants , and i treated the conifers correctly. I am disgusted really. I am in the process of planting 400 meters of hedge, but will not be using Cheshire Plants again.
Addendum: following reply from Cheshire plants , yes we can be unsure why they died. , so I asked for a middle ground as “it’s unknown” and thought it fair to share the burden . Call it a gesture of goodwill . That’s how a business grows.

What a pleasure to deal with.
As a trade person I was looking for a good company with a quality product for a reasonable price and Cheshire plants ticked all these boxes.
The customer i was installing a hedge for at first decided on privet, which these guys delivered on time with no issues.
Unfortunately the customer then decided that they’d rather have Laurel hedging instead.
I was adamant that they wouldn’t be able to swap them and that the new plants wouldn’t arrive before I was due to finish either.

But after speaking to Matt he managed to sort out collection of the privet plants and delivery of the new laurel plants the very next day! This meant that I wouldn’t be delayed and could stay in schedule.
I often experience delays with deliveries and items being out of stock, but I had no issues what so ever with these guys and will 100% be using them again in the future.
My go to supplier now for all my future garden projects.

We are a trade customer with Cheshire Plants. Our experience & service with them has been worthy of a 5 star rating. We have purchased plants from them since their current sites early days & they have continually invested in the upkeep of the site, offering & ultimately quality of plants & their health. We know we are getting a great product & at a good price - the value in terms of service & product is fantastic.
Their plants are used in our garden designs throughout Cheshire & we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Absolutely fantastic company, use these guys weekly as I run a landscape gardening company and use the hedging / plants for our jobs . No better service or pricing than these guys

Visited Cheshire plants showroom back in May, Adam answered all of my questions which helped us decide on the purchase of a 6x3m Pergola. Ordered, arrived on Saturday and installed by their recommended landscaper today. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT PRICE & GREAT recommend installer. Well done and thank you.

Very pleased with all my plants I received to Scotland they came all packed together on a pallet so they were well protected!

Poor quality cherry laurels delivered, not very chuffed.

Easy ordering process.. Free delivery was quick. Portuguese Laurel were mostly healthy.. some broken branches done in transit and some leaf yellowing from the recent hot weather but on the whole plants look great. Prices seem competitive for pallet discounts. Would happily order from these guys again.

What an excellent service this company provides.
I ordered x100 green sire plants which were delivered the next day. The delivery driver was really helpful and put them where I asked.
The plants were well wrapped and were in amazing condition ( very healthy dark green plants )
I have placed more orders with this company and will be doing so in the future.
Highly recommend to anyone for a fast easy experience with the highest quality.

I ordered 40 x 7- 8ft rootball cherry laurels for delivery at the beginning of April - they were all great quality and also all a good size.
Two months in they have settled & rooted well and we have lots and lots of new growth. Very happy with them and they were great value buying via the pallet of 12 deal on at the time. Great communication, speedy delivery and excellent customer service - would highly recommend

We visited the showroom last week and purchased 4 Portuguese Laurel and 4 Red Robbins, the service was great and the trees were delivered on time and most importantly in excellent condition, this is our first purchase from Cheshire Plants and would highly recommend them, thank you 👍

**Update**
So the tree completely died by July no matter how much it was watered. We dug it up yesterday and the roots were practically nonexistent with zero new/ white roots forming. Do not buy from this company unless you love wasting money.

I don't tend to write reviews unless they're positive but unfortunately I feel like I need to leave a review for my bad experience with this company. I ordered a Christmas tree (in fairness in the sale) but when it was delivered it was very badly wrapped and damaged. I sent a picture and complained and told them I wanted a refund but was instead offered a 50% refund and a promise the tree would absolutely be fine if planted and looked after. Unfortunately this was 16th April, and it's now (31st May) the tree is almost completely dead. The weathers been hot but I have watered the tree every time it's not rained and it's still a complete mess. Every needle that's left and not fell off is completely brown.

Absolute sharks and 0 customer service skills!! DO NOT order from this company by any means if you want your home to be damaged upon delivery!

A bit of background on my review. We ordered 2 x pallets and had them delivered to our property. We added instructions for delivery to be left by our front door (a section is provided for delivery instructions) When we arrived home we had a large pallet by our front door with the plants on but noticed the slabs had been scraped and cracked. We also have the CCTV footage from our ring door bell proving this.

Upon reporting the damage back to Cheshire Plants and the images I have attached to my review we were met with an apology from an employee named Adam which we accepted and was told in exact wording "Thank you very much for your email and very sorry to hear regarding the damage to your property. I have reached out to our 3rd party transport company for their guidance on this and a resolve and will come back to you asap."

After chasing for an update on 2 further occasions I was emailed again with "I am just awaiting a resolve, the issue we face is that these deliveries are curb side only, I believe the driver has attempted to be helpful and follow your instruction when ideally he should have left the pallet at the bottom of the drive as per our terms and conditions on all deliveries as our third party has no insurance to cover dropping goods on private land as this should not have been done. I am working on this for you and will come back with an update."

Again after no response and chasing we received an email "I have since spoken with Mat, Director of Cheshire Plants, who would also like to extend his apologies for the inconvenience caused. We understand how frustrating this situation must be, and we are keen to find the best way to put things right for you. To help us move forward, would you be able to let us know the likely cost of repairing the cracked stone on the driveway, or arrange for a quotation for the repair work? Once we have this information, we can discuss the best way to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and again, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused"

Following this we reached out to a local trusted building firm and spent time obtaining a quote which took time, sent this back to Mat and Adam at Cheshire plants to seek a resolution.

Again met with silence we chased the matter up and only to be met with the following email statement "Good afternoon Ryan,
I hope you are well, and thank you for sending this across.
Following a full review of the matter with our Director, we would like to clarify that our delivery service is provided on a curb side basis only, as outlined within our website terms and delivery policy. We also note that instructions were included on the order requesting that the delivery be left on private land.
Whilst we acknowledge the circumstances raised, and appreciate your concerns, the driver’s actions were outside the scope of the service we are contracted to provide. As such, and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, we are unable to accept liability for the associated costs being claimed.
We do, however, value our customers and always aim to resolve matters amicably and professionally. We hope this clarifies our position and brings the matter to a close.

After digesting this email our position now stands at you are saying you will do NOTHING on the matter of the damages caused to our property, that you have accepted the delivery driver has acted out of your policy and as such caused the damages that you are not willing to resolve. Why would you ask us to go out of our way and obtain quotes if from the start you was going to state there is nothing you are gong to do. If you were honest from the start we would have accepted this but we feel incredibly let down by you as a company and feel you have totally wasted our time in asking us to obtain quotes that you have no intention of resolving.

HUGELY DISSAPOINTED AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS

Fantastic in every way. Easy to order online, really helpful and responsive sales team, fair prices, very high quality shrubs and an exceptionally helpful deliver driver. Highly recommended.

I purchased 25 Portuguese Laurel hedges, the 10 to 12 ft size.

When it came to delivery there was a slight mix up and a few were different, however after talking straight away with Matthew the courier driver left and returned a couple of hours later with the replacement ones.

This was especially helpful because I had a landscape gardener there, a small mini digger and large skip, we were digging a fifteen metre trench for these to go in so the fact that they sorted this out on a few hours was most welcome.

This is not my first purchase from this family run business, and it most certainly will not be my last, in fact I will be calling them again shortly for some more plants.

Lovely people, very competitive prices. What's not to like.
