Overall buying experience
Overall, my experience was very good. The 0% finance option made the purchase straightforward and affordable, and the ordering process was smooth from start to finish. The pergola was dispatched on time, which I appreciated.
There are a few areas where the company could improve. The bundle options were somewhat limited, making it harder to customise the order. Communication from the delivery company was also poor, and I had to contact the seller directly to get updates. To their credit, the seller responded and helped resolve the issue. I also felt that the installation service offered was quite expensive, especially considering the pergola was purchased directly from them.
Despite these minor issues, the product quality and overall buying experience were good. I would recommend the company and would consider purchasing from them again.

With regard to delivery and installation, as you are located almost 90 miles from our warehouse, we had to arrange delivery via a specialist courier service rather than using our own delivery team. Similarly, installation costs are influenced by the distance the installation team would need to travel, as well as the time required to complete the work. While we always aim to keep these costs as competitive as possible, we appreciate your comments and understand your perspective.

Exceptional Customer Service from Start to Finish
I came across this company by chance on Instagram and decided to visit the showroom to take a look at their garden furniture in person. I am so glad I did.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the huge range of furniture on display. There were so many different options to choose from, far more than I've seen in many other showrooms.
While browsing, we were approached by Nicky, who was absolutely fantastic. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful without being pushy in any way, something that is unfortunately quite rare these days. She took the time to explore numerous options with us, answered all our questions and was incredibly accommodating, especially as I had my two young children with me. A special thank you to the lovely lady at the front who kindly gave them a chocolate bar, a small gesture that was very much appreciated!
What I particularly valued was that Nicky gave us space to browse independently whenever we wanted, while always being available when we needed advice. Thanks to her help, we found the perfect furniture set and the delivery timescale worked perfectly for us.
We also opted for the White Glove Delivery Service, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. On the day of delivery, I received a courtesy call in the morning with an estimated arrival time, which was extremely helpful.
Billy, George and Ray arrived promptly and were a credit to the company. They were professional, polite, cheerful and took great care when bringing the furniture into our garden. Everything was assembled and set up within around 30 minutes, and they even connected the gas cylinder to the firepit table and provided clear instructions on how to use and maintain everything.
The level of customer service from start to finish was exceptional. Following our experience, I have already shared photos with friends and family and recommended the company to several people.
After a disappointing experience with another retailer, this was a breath of fresh air. The quality of service, the fantastic range of products, the convenient parking and the attention to detail throughout the entire process made this an outstanding experience.
Thank you to everyone involved. I wouldn't hesitate to shop here again and will certainly be returning in the future.

Customer Service Was Very Good
Ordered a large wheeled parasol base from Chimes Home & Garden Ltd. I had to contact customer services as unfortunately our parasol broke before receiving the base and I thought I may have to return it. Customer Services phoned me back the next day to explain my options, they were very helpful. I decided to keep the base in the end and will buy another parasol.

Terrible Customer Service.
Delivered late. No follow up. I had to contact courier and sort myself. No follow up from CS. Product that was eventually delivered was not designed to fit my Chimes table. Contacted CS again who told me it was correct. Advised it was not suitable. Was too big for my 2021 model. Told If I want to send back do it my own cost, and then they would inspect and determine if I get the refund. Abysmal CS. Binned it, they can keep the £. Will never buy from this outfit again. Terrible CS.

After investigating your order, we can see that your cover pack was dispatched from our warehouse on the same day it was placed. The delivery delay occurred because the parcel was delivered to a neighbour by the courier, and our customer service team spent time helping to establish its whereabouts with the courier once you notified us of the issue.
Regarding the cover itself, our customer service team explained that the cover supplied was the correct model for your table. We also advised that it may be slightly larger than your original cover and suggested tightening the straps for a better fit. We further explained that if you remained unhappy with the product, you were entitled to return it for inspection in line with our returns policy and have a full refund.
We are particularly disappointed to read that there was no follow-up from our customer service team, as our records show that we made several attempts to contact you by both telephone and email to discuss and resolve your concerns, but unfortunately did not receive a response.
We always aim to provide a positive experience for our customers and would still welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further should you wish to contact us.

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve been disappointed with your experience.
The issue was first reported to us on 11th April. We then received images a few days later and reviewed the issue with you. Following this, it was agreed that we would replace the affected part.
When you contacted us again on 17th May for an update, the replacement was still in transit. In the meantime, we offered both touch-up paint and a £100 goodwill refund to help resolve matters more quickly, which was accepted.
Unfortunately, the paint initially supplied arrived in the wrong colour, and we immediately arranged for the correct paint to be sent from our factory. We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of the replacement touch-up paint until this matter is fully resolved.
We appreciate your patience while we work to complete this for you and apologise again for the inconvenience caused.

We were informed on the Friday evening that you had a breakdown with one of the vehicles so our Sunday delivery would not be happening. Then on the Sunday morning your delivery turned up at 8am with no prior notification

Unfortunately, due to the distance from our warehouse being over 200 miles away, we had to arrange delivery via an external courier rather than using our own delivery team and van. I do apologies they had unexpected vehicle breakdown and we completely appreciate that arriving at 8am without prior notification was not ideal. We will be speaking with the courier company directly regarding this, as customers should always be kept properly informed of delivery arrangements.

5 Star top service from Chimes!
We went into the showroom and ordered the Nova Apollo 3m round parasol and a Nova Barbados 3m round parasol with a request for delivery just before the heatwave and Chimes made sure our order was delivered the very next day! The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
The products are good quality and good value, the Nova Apollo parasol is a sturdy unit and can be moved in a 360 degrees rotation at the push of a button! It is perfect for providing shade to my large Koi pond.
This is the second time we have purchased from Chimes and highly recommend them for their quality and customer service. 5 star top service - Thank you!
