Ich bin zufrieden mit " Choice rent a car".
Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und zuvorkommend. Das Auto war auch super. Alles hat gut geklappt. Und die Preise sind ok.
Ich würde gern wieder ein Auto mieten.

SCAM ALERT!!! – Avoid Choice Rent a Car!

My son and his friends rented a car from Choice Rent a Car at Sofia Airport. Despite paying for full insurance, they were met with verbal abuse, false accusations, and threats from manager Rosa Sisoeva after reporting a minor scratch. She misrepresented a police report, accused them of reckless driving, and kept their deposit — exploiting their inability to read Bulgarian. When I called to ask why, I was yelled at, hung up on, and blocked.

This company is dishonest and aggressive. Stay far away!!!

2 ou 3 heures après avoir rendu la voiture, alors que tout était bien lors du dépot, nous avons été appelé en nous disant que nous avions roulé sur une route "illégale" (on ne sait pas ce que c'est!) et menacé d’être dénoncé à la police car il y avait un clou dans le pneu. pour être tranquille, Nous devions payé 500 léva en espèce (!), ce que nous avons fait car l'embarquement de l'avions était proche. Nous ne sommes même pas sûr que c'était notre voiture et que l'incident ne s'est pas produit après avoir rendu la voiture. Et même si cela est vrai 500 léva (en espèce de plus) pour un clou dans un pneu, c'est carrément de l'arnaque. On ne nous verra plus chez ce loueur

Absolute scam! They took my deposit even though I returned the car in perfect condition. They never sent me any photos of the so-called “damages,” and I have proof—both before and after—that I returned the car in the same condition.

I am now taking legal action against them.

Je confirme : vous aurez affaire à une organisation d'escrocs bien rodée. Arrivée à l'agence du terminal 1, nous constatons qu'un client refuse de payer des frais de 100€ supplémentaires, prétendument nécessaire pour couvrir les frais de e-vignettes qui autoriserait l'usage du véhicule hors de Sofia, sur les routes et autoroutes principales. Sans votre accord "forcé", l'employée francophone vous met la pression en vous suggérant d'annuler votre location (sans indiquer si cela sera avec ou sans frais, bien entendu, mais j'opterais pour le second choix...).
Bien entendu, leu argumentaire de bonimenteur valait également pour nous et sûrement pour les prochains clients...
De plus, après la remise des clés et des papiers du véhicule, à la présentation physique de celui-ci, c'est à vous de procéder à votre propre état des lieux et ensuite d'envoyer les photos prises sur un lien disponible sur le "contrat de location" (je vous recommande de faire le tour du véhicule, intérieur comme extérieur).
En effet, nous avons constater plusieurs défauts que nous avons consignés par écrit, avec photos horodatés à l'appui.
Dernière chose, quand vous régler le dépôt de garantie, demander à règler en devise locale, sans conversion euro, et faites-le avec une carte de crédit, et non de débit.
Epargnez-vous ces tracas qui peuvent vous gâcher le reste de vos vacances, et vous miner le moral jusqu'à votre retour à la maison.
Dès que je rentre et je confie mon cas à la commission européenne de la consommation.
Sécurisez votre location auprès d'enseignes connue, ayant pignon sur rue et à la probité avérée, vous paierez probablement que ce qui est clairement indiqué sur leur contrat, mais les tracas en moins.

Advising everyone to avoid this company in Sofia Airport. They refused to answer my numerous emails and calls for a simple "Damage Report" so I could claim my insurance back for alleged scratches that they withdrew £850 (2000 lev) from my card. Staff were incredibly rude when I and local friends called to request the document and after 9 months, I gave up. A very costly and time wasting experience

warning A good company. They have a lot of money to rip you off for years. Please, if you want to keep your money, don't go near them. They only look nice, but in reality they are cruel.

Най-нечестната компания, с която сме се сблъсквали!
Колата ни се развали заради тяхна грешка, но те не поеха отговорност.
Платихме скъп репатрак, въпреки че проблемът не беше наша вина.
Обещаха възстановяване на сумата, после излъгаха и ни обвиниха, въпреки че имахме ясни доказателства.
Резервната кола беше с ниско качество и далеч от това, за което платихме.
Измамническо обслужване, неуважително отношение – стойте далеч!

Scam Alert for Car Rentals at Sofia Airport – Especially with "Choice Rent a Car

Travelers have reported deceptive practices by certain car rental companies at Sofia Airport, notably "Choice Rent a Car." These practices include:

Предупреждение: Измама при наемане на автомобил на летище София – особено при "Choice Rent a Car"

В началото клиентите се посрещат с изключителна любезност и им се обещава, че депозитът ще бъде възстановен незабавно и безпроблемно – обещание, което често не се спазва.

1. Въпреки че автомобилът вече има множество повреди от предишни клиенти, в договора умишлено се декларира като "без повреди".
2. При връщане на автомобила клиентите се подканват да побързат с обещанието, че колега ще провери автомобила по-късно. Така те напускат мястото без незабавна проверка или възстановяване на депозита.
3. Депозитът определено не се освобождава.
4. Поради задържания депозит пропуснах резервирания си полет на стойност 350 евро.
5. Трябваше да закупя нов билет за следващия ден – този път за 650 евро.
6. Към това се добавят и адвокатски разходи.
7. Друг трик: клиентите се насочват към собствената си банка с твърдението: "Не можем да освободим депозита."
8. Резервоарът при предаване не е напълно пълен – често липсва една чертичка. Въпреки това в протокола се записва "пълен резервоар". Ако автомобилът се върне в същото състояние, се начислява допълнителна такса от 20 лева.
9. Не се предоставя протокол за повредите от предишния клиент.
10. Също така не се издава коректен протокол за връщане – така липсват важни доказателства пред съда.
11. Въпреки че вече бях платил авансово, не получих нито автомобила, нито възстановяване на сумата – точно това ми се случи, като дори писменото споразумение беше игнорирано и отхвърлено.

Заключение:
Настоятелно препоръчваме да наемате автомобил от друг доставчик – в противен случай рискувате не само излишен стрес, но и финансови загуби над 2000 евро!

Изглежда като една от най-професионално организираните измами в София – абсолютно не се препоръчва.

Without a doubt, the worst place to rent a car.
I rented a car for a month at Sofia Airport. The rental went well, and the car was returned without a hitch.
When I returned it, I was told I would receive my 750 EUR security deposit in a few weeks. After 5 weeks, I contacted them and was told, "Yes, yes, I just confirmed your refund."
It's been almost 3 months now, and I still haven't received my deposit.
And now, their phone number is no longer valid, and they're no longer responding to my emails.
It's simple: they're fraudsters who never return the security deposit.
Avoid at all costs.

I had horrible experience with this rental company! Never rent a car from them if you have your own travel insurance, because the charge you 700 euro as a deposit and you will never get it back! They did not provide me with a damage report in order to claim it to my insurance and they stopped responding to mine and my insurance requests to resolve this issue!!! They don't even deserve one star! Very, very unhappy!!!

I have hired a car for 2 weeks and i booked a full insurance online when making the booking via rentacar.com site. When i arrived and was explained almost trying to scare me that if i dont have a full insurance with them very likely i wont get my money back from whoever i had my insurance with. The car advertised as new but it was on 90,000 km. The car had 2 warning signs but i was told to ignore it. On one of the days i got an email that i had a speeding ticket, link sent to me i could have paid it there and then and that would have been 280lv, but i was also informed that they are withdrawing 500lv from my account, of which 100lv (€50) admin fees and 400lv the higher amount of the fees....because they can do that once a month only when suits them in other words, even though their charge top dollar i am sure that over all they cashed 220lv out of this situation for themselves. Really disgusting experience overall.
