Don’t waste your money on Ciga Design Products
This is my personal experience with CIGA Design. I am sharing it so that potential customers can understand exactly what happened and make their own informed decision.
I supported CIGA Design during one of their Indiegogo campaigns because I genuinely liked the design of their watches and believed I was buying from a company that stood behind the quality of its products.
Unfortunately, my experience turned into the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
The first issues started long before I even received the watch.
The campaign experienced delays, communication was often poor, and updates were limited. While delays can happen with crowdfunding campaigns, I expected much better communication from a company selling premium watches.
Eventually, after waiting much longer than expected, I finally received my watch.
From the beginning, I noticed that the automatic winding system did not seem to work correctly.
At first, I assumed this was simply how the movement had been designed. However, it already felt unusual compared to another automatic watch that I own.
Because the watch was still running, I decided to keep it.
I rarely wore the watch, always handled it with great care, and never subjected it to any misuse.
Over time, the winding performance became worse and worse until the watch eventually stopped working completely.
Once the watch stopped working, I contacted CIGA Design's customer support.
Their team acknowledged my request and instructed me to send the watch back to China for repair.
Although shipping a watch internationally is never ideal, I trusted their warranty process and followed their instructions exactly.
I paid for the international return shipping myself, as requested under their warranty policy.
I shipped the watch on March 30.
Unfortunately, after being shipped internationally, the parcel stopped progressing.
I later learned that there were customs-related issues, and the package never reached CIGA Design.
According to CIGA Design, they contacted Carson and attempted to communicate with customs several times, but they never received the parcel.
As a result, I was left without my watch and without a repair.
The most disappointing part of this entire experience was not the defective watch.
It was the customer service.
After informing CIGA Design about the situation, I repeatedly requested updates.
Eventually, they simply stopped responding to my emails.
Weeks passed without any communication.
Only after I sent another email expressing my frustration did they finally reply.
Their explanation for ignoring my emails was that I had previously reacted to one of their emails with a thumbs-down emoji, which they considered disrespectful.
Personally, I found it difficult to understand why a customer with an unresolved warranty claim would be ignored over an emoji while still being left without any solution.
Today, I no longer have the watch.
I paid for the return shipping.
I invested months trying to resolve the issue.
I still do not have a repaired watch, a replacement, or a final resolution.
Instead, I have spent months exchanging emails and waiting for answers.
I am not making this comment because a watch broke.
Mechanical products can fail.
What disappointed me was how the situation was handled after the failure.
I followed every instruction given to me by CIGA Design.
I returned the watch because they asked me to.
Today I am left with nothing but a long chain of emails, wasted time, additional costs, and an unresolved warranty case.
I believe it is important to share my experience so that other potential customers know exactly what happened before deciding to purchase one of their products.
Everything stated above reflects my personal experience and is based on my communications with CIGA Design and the timeline of events.
