Using Citrus Lime for our till and e-commerse has been the best investment we have made as a business. Their complete end to end system is easy to use and there is always someone to help when an issue occurs. Our Google ads manager and Seo expert have been paramount in the success of the online side of the business, and the workshop module keeps the workshop running smoothly. This is really the only pos system you should be looking at.

The success team have been fantastic. We work with them for our google ads and Joe has been amazing in boosting our sales. We have tried other companies and google themselves but nothing ever worked out. With Joe in control we initially had a chat about the business and how we work and now it's something I don't have to worry about. We just let him know if we have any requests for promoting particular items or brands and he just gets on with it. Knowing that you can rely on someone to promote your business and see good results without the stress is just what we were looking for.

Its fair to say that we've not always enjoyed the best of relationships.
However, credit where credits due in the last few years I've seen a huge improvement from both their ePos offering and the support team. I certainly feel we get good value for the money we spend with them.
CloudPos is constantly evolving, partly based on end user feedback as well as industry trends. Its not faultless, but what software is? In my opinion its certainly the best product on the market for cycling retailers and is well integrated with all the major UK suppliers which results in real time savings when it comes to presenting products professionally online.
Whats less tangible is the support from the digital marketing team at Citrus Lime. We're a stand alone independent retailer, there is no eCommerce team, just me. The input and feedback from their team really does give me a chance to compete with national chains online. It definitely feels like a partnership and during busy times I know I can be confident that the online part of the business will be looked after with minimal input from me. We'll always be a bricks and mortar shop but our online trade now counts for about a third of our business and I firmly believe this would not be the case without the support from the digital marketing team.
All I would say is, dont expect to get all this for free. I wouldnt say the costs are unreasonable but if you do decide to sign up with them keep tabs on your monthly invoices.

We have been on board with Citrus Lime for POS and e-commerce now for a year. The whole team from sales to support are positive and proactive.

We are really pleased with the design and function of the website. The design and build process was collaborative and we feel we have a site that reflects us and our business. The back office of the website is easy and intuitive to use and the marketing team work with us to build campaigns that have already exceeded our expectations based on the turnover of our last website.

The POS is a fantastic tool with useful reporting features and is easy to use in a busy shop. Uploading stock and keeping on top of data is time consuming and never ending - my only quibble - but provides a more professional customer experience. The SIM integration feature helps massively for cutting time uploading information but can be glitchy. We have had issues and found faults which has been frustrating but the UK based support team are super knowledgeable and are there to help. Overall, we are pleased with the system and know it will help us to grow as a business and be more proactive and streamline in our buying decisions.

The CitrusLime team have been amazing from the very start. Dean was incredibly patient and helpful with the initial set up of the software and getting the website up and running. Throughout the process, the support and customer success teams have been exceptional. They're always happy to help and incredibly efficient. Joe has been helping me with getting a stronger online presence and we're now starting to see some great results. Overall, a really fantastic team that are focused on getting the best results to reach your goals! Highly recommended 👍

We're a small independent group of stores and we rely on Citrus Lime to deliver smooth POS, front end website & digital marketing.

The POS is good value for money and reasonably efficient.

The website is initially an out of the box package but they do spend a lot of time to develop it to make it ours with the features and integrations that we want.

The digital marketing has provided by CL has seen a growth in websales of 32% which shows the hard work the team put in.

Communication is generally good, there are times where it is slow to get through to anyone, but overall they sort problems out quickly & I have monthly catch ups with my account manager. Live chat are always helpful, and the portal to track your cases is useful.

However as the relationship has grew over the last 5/6 years and citrus have brought further people into their team this has paid off for us. We now have a fully operational cloud based system that runs everything ee do/we would be lost without it.
We've also found great success in growing our online business with the help of Citrus-Limes Digital Marketing Services. We've worked closely with Joe who has given us exceptional support and results throughout our time working with him. I'd recommend this service to any business no matter how big or small if you're looking to grow online. We're looking forward to our continued relationship with Joe and Citrus-Lime.

Citrus Lime isn't a one size fits all but if you're business has grown to a point where you need to improve the efficiency of how you operate both in store and online, to take things to the next level, then this is it.

CL is slick and easy to use, the reports are insightful and essential to help run our business. Where it could previously take us months to book all our seasonal stock in and online, it now takes days. It's sped up all the monotonous tasks, freeing time to concentrate on more important tasks.

Nothing's ever perfect but CL are continually developing their software with input from end users, they listen and act on what we have to say. Which is what makes this a 5 start review rather than a 4. Obviously we'd like improvements to be instant but when is that ever the case, retail is forever changing and they're changing with it.

I'm excited and looking forward to where we can take our business with them.

Since siging up with Citrus Lime in 2016 we have seen continued growth and benefits to our business. The main aspect being we operate a much slicker, much more efficient operation. We can do things faster, we can communicate with our customers more and with greater ease, and with the add on of the ecommerce platform we have gained nationwide exposure and sticky stock has become a thing of the past.
This does all come with a great deal of input and effort from our side also, this isn't a twist and go product. It is a comprehensive system that can be used in a variety of ways depending on your business model and goals, but the efforts of our small team of 4 people, have shown improvements that we would need at least 2 more full time skilled members of staff to achieve without this software.
As with any IT software contract, ensure that your own goals and expectations are clear and well communicated before committing, but if you want to take your retail business to the next level, then certainly consider Citrus Lime.

We've worked with CL for over a decade and benefit from the developments that have taken place over that time. They now provide end to end retail solutions. Apart from stock to sell, they've got everything else covered.

Their system is slick and the reports are one of the reasons we've had year on year growth since 2011. NOTE, Their system is a tool to use, it wont make you rich overnight. Use it, master it, its a game changer.

To be critical, planned software developments can take a touch too long to roll out then we find ideal.

Did not provide service that was agreed, the services they did provide were not as complete as they said

The following only came to light after signing contract and committed for 3 years.

"Full Xero integration" - Does not integrate with stock values - these need to posted by manual journal entry

"Live stock feeds" - these are updated regularly, but are not live - some can be 24 hours out of date

"Workshop Module" was on my original contract, but never received. The pro license said it included all upgrades, workshop module was specced on my contract - but if I want it - will need to pay more.

One of my objectives was to track stock at my stores and my mobile workshop, so I would have knowledge what i had in either location. All through training this was brought up, and yes it can be set up. Only thing is they then informed me that this would require a second license - doubling my bill - even though I would not need any further training or equipment - No thanks!

Lets go back to stock levels and reports - The reports are supposed to give you all information you need. Except if you want to know what your stock level was on a particular date (Needed for my accountant to enter after finding that Xero does not fully integrate). You need to run this report regularly and export / file it for future use.

Customer service - the people I spoke with were always polite and told me "we will look into this" - when I visited their trade stands at Core Bike 2022, Core Bike 2023, and Icebike 2023. Promised somebody would be in touch - and this last time they are - but only to demand more money to terminate a service that I am no longer using.

I have other misgivings about the company and its services, which will hopefully be sorted out before legal action takes place.

This is my personal review of my experiences and express my personal feelings about the service I have received.

Long story short - I would never recommend or go anywhere near this company in the future.

Crooks. Taking money without providing any form of service or communication. 3 months worth of emails ignored, and still sending invoices. Final straw is seeing £600 taken from our bank account. If I could give zero stars, I would!
