Misleading
Our initial dealings were with a representative in Australia however after completing the 'Lets get started' form we found ourselves receiving calls from someone in the Philipines. This made us alittle nervous especially as questions were asked that we had already answered in emails to the original representative. On reaching out to that representative to clarify we were advised "Our model is an Australian Lawyer that manages our paralegals in the Philippines who support our client throughout the journey, we have been operating this way for over 5 years. If you do not believe this model is for you, it may be best to choose another conveyancer." We chose to go elsewhere but in the meantime Certificate searches had been done and we received an Invoice for double the amount originally estimated. This is when our decision to not go with this business was proven to be correct as firstly we were told the Invoice would be cancelled, then another representative advised we would have to pay (keeping in mind the cost was double what was quoted originally). Yes we appreciate an 'estimate' is just that but you don't expect the actual cost to be double the amount. We ended up paying the Invoice and were fortunate enough that the conveyancer we chose to go with accepted the Certificates. We feel this business misrepresents itself when you believe you are dealing with people in Australia for the process. The less than favourable reviews for this business reflect what can happen when you deal with someone from overseas in particular poor communication skills. There also appears to be a failing with communication between staff in the Philipines and Australia. Keep in mind good reviews are not always genuine - better off reading the poor ones if you're trying to make an informed decision to engage this business.

As a firm, we act with transparency but understand that your initial contact was with one of our Australian representatives, so you were not immediately aware of our diversity. We have a team of experienced Australian lawyers, conveyancers as well as paralegals in the Philippines. Lindel Enticott one of our Australian solicitors was supervising your matter. As soon as you raised any concern with our model, we immediately attempted to cancel the required certificates that had been ordered to assist you in transferring your services. Unfortunately, some of the local authorities would not refund the orders as the requests were underway. We trust that these searches were well utilised by your new representative.
We have taken your feedback into consideration and are looking into improvements we can make to our client engagement.
Our Filipino employees are supervised, experienced, and very customer centric. They have an internal client satisfaction rate of over 95% and overall, our clients are extremely satisfied. All of our reviews are genuine and your suggestion that they are not is incorrect, inappropriate, and slanderous.
A very smooth and professional experience
Nathan was very professional, informative and helpful in guiding us through our first property conveyance experience. It was a very smooth process from the outset. We would definitely use conveyancing.com.au again

Settlement of our Apartment 31May24
Sellers Conveyancer made contact with us on the day Settlement was expected, 31 May 24.
Advising Settlement would now be 03/06/24.
This was unacceptable to us and Lawrenz, our Conveyancer managed to sort out and gain early access for us (not our fault even). Picked up the Keys from theReal Estate 5.40pm 31/5.
The process was well explained and went smoothly until the Settlement date

Smooth settlement
Conveyancing.com.au made it very easy to sell my investment property. It was to be a very straightforward sale with no special contract conditions on my part. The contract for sale was prepared quickly & expertly by conveyancing paralegal, Kevin Ross, who fielded requests for special contract conditions from prospective purchasers. Once sold and contracts were exchanged with the purchaser, the matter was handed over to the settlements conveyancing paralegal, Gellie Bellen. Gellie prepared all the necessary information for settlement quickly & accurately and coordinated with my bank for settlement. I was pleased with the secure way in which information was verified with me. I felt very confident with the services of conveyancing.com.au.
