I would recommend avoiding this museum and going to see any other museum or gallery in Copenhagen, at least at the moment anyway (June 2026).

We weren't told about there being limited exhibitions until after paying £30+, meaning we paid that much money to walk up and down lots of steps, and see three pieces of very minimalistic art.

We probably spent about 10-15 minutes in total at the museum, most of which was spent wandering around the museum confused.

The architectural installation for children looked fun, but as adults I would definitely avoid and take a wander around the rest of Refshaleøen instead, and save your money. You see more interesting art around the city for free, so it's a shame.

Fantastisk museum, men virkelig ringe personaleniveau.
Betjeningen i billetsalget, er uengageret, arrogant, og giver en oplevelse af, at være til besvær.
Betjening af jeres lysinstallation, behandler de fremmødte, som kvæg som bare skal igennem, med utålmodighed, ligegyldighed, og en helt utilstedelig uengageret tone.
Hvor er det ærgerligt at et ellers fantastisk sted, levere ikke så lavt serviceniveau.

Deres tilhørende cafe er elendig!
På CCs hjemmeside er åbningstiden angivet til kl 16:00 alle dage, men de havde lukket kl 15:00!
Kaffen var ikke noget specielt.
Det ligner dovenskab.
Selve udstillingen er klart et besøg værd, men det er svært at planlægge et besøg, når man ikke kan stole på hjemmesiden.

I would not recommend. Very small and boring exhibition

I got an unpleasant experience since a host person yelled at me. Literally.
A host on the floor allowed himself to YELL at me with a high voice when I politely asked him why such strict rules for children are not mentioned anywhere on the website. When I was leaving, the same person again approached me with inappropriate comments. He was finger-pointing at me into his colleagues, which made me feel mobbed and harassed. It was rude, unprofessional, and just unacceptable. I was polite all the time, and all the time, I was in control of my child, so none of the art pieces got touched.
Do not repeat my mistake by trusting their website, saying they are “welcoming visitors of all ages.” It is not true as you need to hold your kids in your hand all the time as per floor hosts. Some places are not for parents with kids, and I get it - but mention it on the website/ put a sign on the cash desk,/ ask a cashier to inform visitors about it before buying tickets. So I would not recommend this place for a visit, as this experience was one of the most unpleasant I ever had for years living in Copenhagen.
