Very dissapointing!
The Management are not to be trusted, they promise the earth and don't deliver.

Get absolutely everything in writing and dated. Countrywide have a history of not exactly being true to there word.

This company is breaking the law, some of there property's are on open rent for long term rentals me and my family looked at seascape cottage and gareth lewis manager of amroth castle said it was ours for has long has we wanted it was long term, so we took it the only to be given 2 weeks notice after 6 months. And my neighbours had it done to them has well after 6 months. Then to find out they are breaking the law by not paying council tax which is why they rent it out for 6 months then put it back to holirday lets and kick family's out giving them 2 weeks notice to leave. This company only cares about how much they make and not about people.

A terrible company who do not care about their customers and are only interested in taking your money!!!
We had a caravan at Amroth Castle for a few years before the park was taken over by countrywide and then it all went down hill!! There was a lack of investment in the park and facilities and the decline in standards was obvious.
However our caravan was flooded at the end of 2024 and instead of supporting us with next steps and advice we were chased for the following years ground rent and bills (circa £5 -6k) that we'll never actually use!! Due to lack of communication I lodged a formal complaint that has shamefully never been dealt with!
We've had enough and paid our way out of the contract as it was causing my elderly parents unnecessary stress and anxiety and in the end we just wanted no further association with such a terrible company.
Avoid them as they are only interested in taking your money!!!

They just talking about arranging a meeting with a sales rep on email Even though we wanted to learn about the site at Clayton West in Huddersfield. It was there suggestion we could meet up with the warden and look round. Then silence. Seen lots of reviews. It's just seems a money making company. Once a park home is bought from them its not worth the money and if people want to sell they make it hard work. So not pursuing

I Live on OAKLANDS GRANGE PARK WOODHALL SPA LINCOLNSHIRE. I have been here for 7 years I have been trying to sell my home for 4 years now , the main reason I can't sell is the owner JOHN CURTIS and now PETER CURTIS persuade my buyers to buy from them the many refurbs they have on site bought from other residents that had to sell to them at a knock down price for the same reason they could not sell on the open market. People are so unhappy here that they end up selling to the owners do not have enough money to buy on so a lot of them end up renting just to get out. I left bad feedback on the OAKLANDS GRANGE website and PETER CURTIS came round and told me to remove it or I will have a problem with him I did not remove it so this morning he dumped some grass cuttings on my drive when I asked him to remove it he said to his workmen who were there look this woman has lost the plot. The other thing to bare in mind is there are always refurbs going on so the site is always noisy . If you come to look at the site they will persuade you this is utopia. The homes are 30 years old very cold the trees cause so much mess it costs a fortune in gutter cleaning and the homes are always dirty looking even if just been painted.

Countrywide park homes kept our deposit of 6 thousand when they pulled out of the deal to purchase a park home, all the stress led me to have a heart attack, very hard to contact, the owner lives in Nottingham Anthony James Barney very unscrupulous family

Avoid this company like the plague. We were in the process of buying a park home in Chipping sodbury when my solicitor pointed out we could not live there 12 months of the year as we had been told. When I told the manager this his response was it’s my site and if I say you can live here all year round then you can . So all those people living on that site who have been told the same will have a shock if the council find out. Needless to say we lost our deposit. So make sure you do your research it’s a holiday park not residential you cannot stay there all year round.

Avoid this company at all costs! Tried to sell family caravan privately for £12K, they wouldn't allow it and reluctantly bought it for £4K. They now have it advertised for £27,999. Communication and customer service is appalling at Silver Carrs site in Northumberland. Over the winter less than half the site's lighting worked despite reporting this for months. New lodges being built, but aerial photo of site doesn't show the septic tank right next to lodges!

BRIGHTLINGSEA TOURING PARK.
We have just had our first campsite experience as new Motorhomers. So pleased we chose this site as our first experience, Nicki the new manager was ever so helpful and friendly. Lovely site with great view of the lake, very close to the quaint town with good amenities and walks, the communal bathrooms (only used the toilet) were always clean and well stocked with hand soap and loo paper, and laundry area also looked clean and tidy. Overall the site was quiet and would definitely recommend.

We are currently staying at Alder Country Park in Norfolk. We have had no hot water since Wednesday it is now Saturday due to go home on Monday morning. No repair man has materialised, no word of what is happening, No visit from said Manager. So boiling kettles to wash and wash up. My partner and I are so angry we came here for a nice break to de-stress, it has made things worse. Family reunion cancelled for a birthday treat for my partner. Disgraceful way to be treated. Wont be coming back

Our recent stay at Brightlingsea Touring Park over the May bank holiday was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Nicki, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing.
One of the highlights of our stay was the picturesque location of our pitch right by the tranquil lake, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere throughout our entire stay. It was the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature.
The facilities at the park were excellent, with clean showers that maintained a high standard of hygiene throughout our stay. It's evident that the staff take great pride in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of their guests.
Nicki's exceptional customer service truly stood out during our time at Brightlingsea Touring Park. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist with any queries or requests made us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Brightlingsea Touring Park and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature's beauty. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Nicki was very helpful on arrival and came over and spoke to me and my best mate when we were chilling outside the motor home with a vino later that evening even though she had not had the easiest of days. The facilities are good and clean (special thanks to Natalia who was cleaning toilets at 10:30 on Saturday night) Will definitely be back

Nikki is extremely helpful and accommodating my requests - booking was very easy and she has a wealth of knowledge about the local area.

We stayed at Brightlingsea Touring Park over the Easter bank holiday. Nicky was very friendly and welcoming. The touring pitches were clean and a good size. Toilets and showers were clean, although the shower temperature fluctuated if anyone else was using the facilities at the same time. Would definitely visit again.

we have lived on Ainmoor grange for over two years and we are very happy here yes there was things that needed to be done and they will get done in time,
ok about ??? Mathew Gordon their is no one of that name living here or been to view the site so what does he know so is some one hiding behind this name ???.
the site fees and utility bills are line or less than other company sites.
about Countrywide park homes this company did every thing they said they would do and paid for things they said they would and it made our move painless and stress free, we are extremely happy here.
If people do not like it here they can move its a free country.

There are a LOT of fake reviews on this site about Countrywide. We live here and it's excellent! There are a couple of bad apples living here with nothing better to do than spread bitterness. DO NOT believe them please! Steven Lauder

Ok who is this Mathew Gordon? We live on Ainmoor Grange and there is no Mathew Gordon on this Park we have lived here for nearly a year and have been very happy there seem to be a lot of false reviews being put on why??? Fees are NOT extortionate but in line if not less than most other parks the site is still being developed so the park is not completed yet so yes there are things not completed but cut the company some slack and let's see as the park develops shall we, we have no complaints

back again as repairs still not completed absolutely disgusting company now eight months of promises had to get jobs done by other companies, absolute joke guttering to short so glued come apart on hot days just goes on and on with i wish had never heard of this company just take your money and forget about you be aware read the reviews wish i did

Alder country park is a really nice place, that much so that we put a returnable deposit on a lodge.
Unfortunately the house prices have dipped and are no longer able to carry on with the purchase, only to be told the deposit was not refundable.
Warning if you do business with these people make sure every little thing is in writing.
DO NOT take them at there word.
Shame really I would have gone back and brought the place when thing get better
