Look the software doesnt work perfectly all the time.
But if you have problems, like me, this product is a life saver.
Sometimes the software doesnt work pefectly.
Like this one site doesnt load any images with this installed.
But that is a site that sometimes has explicit content.
If you are committed to change, sacrifices has to be made.

Fantastic app which has improved overtime

I used this and found it very helpful. I very thankful that they have such a great customer service team that is there for you 24/7 even if it's not by phone.

I can confirm much of what others users have said
1) The app doesn't work at all; is incredibly easy to circumvent; and at the same time is quite invasive, utilizing a VPN that precludes you from using any other VPNs and causing connection issues
2) Their system indeed does not let you cancel, forcing you to talk to Sales. They hide behind some shield such as "this is for your own protection", but this is nonsense. I frankly haven't seen any normal company in the 21st century operate this way.

Their VPN IS disruptive, causing more suffering than before when I decided to stop looking at porn. My phone fails to connect with the home wifi after being outside on the 5 g network.
They also prevent anyone from commenting on your YouTube channel. And here I am trying to start a video drone business!! This sucks.

I used covenant eyes for 20 years but have just cancelled. I am quite disappointed at how terrible the software works. For example, every webpage that you visit their VPN has to load. Which takes a considerable amount of time. Often over 10 seconds. It just doesn’t work well at all. Not only that, but they have increased their monthly price. Not worth it. I am looking at other alternatives.

The program has improved from a few years ago, but it still has several loopholes that are easy to find.

My bigger issue is that you can’t cancel without calling in. You can uninstall it from all your devices online but you can’t stop them from charging you. I called in before my billing date and it went to a voicemail. Tried again today and they told me they wouldn’t refund me because by the time I actually reached somebody, it had already charged and I didn’t leave a voicemail. I’m sure they can see when I removed my it from devices, but they still refuse to refund the money. So decent program. Terrible customer service with catawampus hours who won’t even help you when you get laid off from a job.

BAD. I joined Covenant Eyes hoping for high quality Christian adult content and i was sorely dissapointed. All the images are blurry and the app is slow! Also wont let me cancel my membership! Avoid, or use a virtual card if you really want images of blurry christian chicks.

I wish I could give this "Christian" site zero stars. First of all they won't let you cancel your subscription unless you talk to a salesperson. Then they do anything to keep you like give you a "hardship discount", hmmm.. well I wouldn't be calling in the first place if I could afford it, so attempting to talk someone into keeping a product that they can't afford is probably not very high in Christlikeness. Second of all if you call and leave a message they won't cancel it. At this point I'm at my wits end, I'm going to have to block the card or something and have the bank handle it. I have these wonderful Christian friends to thank for the frustration and stress. I've been treated better by the wokiest, scummiest, media companies compared to this company and that is sad. I never even downloaded the product, and after this I never will.

I have been porn free for several
years now and have had constant problems with sites that I use for business being blocked. It’s a hassle to resolve this because you have to have the admin (in this case my wife) logon and change filtering settings. I tried to cancel the service as I don’t even have it on most of my devices and they wouldn’t let me unless my wife called to do so. Basically, I can cancel my bank account but otherwise unless I want my wife to freak out I’m stuck paying their extortion of $18 a month with no way out. I felt less trapped when I was caught up in porn addiction than I do now. I would advise some of the great free options out there before this company.

Terrible, terrible service. Frequently flagged false positives, just triggering more acrimony and distrust in our marriage. And, I have to disconnect my Norton VPN so that my devices will connect to the internet through their shoddy Covenant VPN. Finally, they have recently changed branding of the onscreen logo so that now I always see this ubiquitous, Orwellian eyeball staring at me from my phone screen. I HATE this service, and will disconnect it today, marriage or no marriage.

Truely a terrible service and overpriced for what it provides. It doesn't monitor applications outside of
Safari and the Covenant Eyes browser. Any other app you download, you can access NSFW content (twitter, youtube, another browser). The VPN is terrible, slow and buggy. It would constantly cut out my internet connection, forcing me to restart the VPN (which takes a solid 30-60second) multiple times per day. I cancelled my service for a few months after getting to a point where i felt i didn't need it. After a relapse I eventually wanted to restart my subscription (i must be a masochist) only to be greeted with infinite loading screens when trying to pay. The tech was so bad they couldn't even take my money!!!

Never using again, never recommending, and praying for a better competitor because the world needs something like this THAT ACTUALLY WORKS.

Useless for marraiges. Just continues to hide the sin. Doesn't actually deal with the root of the problem. Porn addiction destroyed my Marraige and this app promotes the addiction !! It allows the husband to hide from the wife his problems.. and the women are abused and not heard told to submit and be abused by their infidelity

The program doesn't work, the screenshots are so blurry that even with a reduced blur photo it takes a Sherlock Holmes level investigation to find if someone has strayed. The app will block reddit, and youtube comments, but still allows direct access to porn. And the only way to cancel is to call and talk to a representative in person during Eastern time business hours which is a huge hassel as a west coast person.

What a pile of garbage this company is. I canceled my service with them after only 2 weeks of a trial and they charged my credit card anyways. No support. Chats stink. Only a computer not a real human. And no one answers the phone. Complicated software for others using with you. Expensive. Pick something else.

I had Covenant eyes for a few months and unfortunately had to cancel the subscription because it just completely shut down any apps on my iPhone. I couldn’t even connect to my gym app when working out and as soon as the app was deleted off my phone everything would work perfectly. Very disappointing

Not perfect, but does the job of filtering and blocking content. I hope they will continue improving it so it will work better and better for their users.

Covenant Eyes is absolutely useless if you own IOS devices. It only monitors when using their app, and even with that, the screen shots are so poor that they are useless. Don’t waste your money.

It certainly blocks porn, but it blocks every thing else too. Can’t even access Canvas to turn in my assignments. So frustrated.

I canceled my service back in 2020 and they keep charging my bank account every month so they're stealing from people so you need to watch those bank accounts. Im talking with a lawyer to sue
