Brilliant experience at Craigs today. He was very understanding of Lucas. Lucas warmed to Craig instantly. A very warm and friendly gentleman. We will be returning.

We have been coming to Craig since September 2022. Our son is autistic & non-verbal and hadn't been to a barbers in over 4 yrs.
Due to his sensory needs he doesn't like scissors/ clippers ( we used to cut his hair while he slept). Craig has been amazing, so patient and understanding of his needs.

We had Louie’s first hair cut with Craig today which was a huge success, as he has recently become very anxious about having it done so much so I had to do it while he slept last time..Craig is so patient and was very reassuring with Louie!I would highly recommend Craig and we are booked in for Louie’s next hair cut!see you again soon!

Fantastic experience with my son, who is 4 and autistic. He’s never tolerated haircuts at all, but Craig was amazing and managed to keep him at ease throughout. We had our first ever haircut without any tears! Will definitely be back as regulars now

My son had his first appointment with Craig. We struggle with haircuts and couldn’t find the right person. Craig made us feel clam with his haircut and was really patient and great with our son! We’ve booked in again! Thank you!

Took my little man to Craig’s barbers today first time going. He was recommended by another barber.
My little man struggles with hair cuts it turns into a stressful situation for everyone. Poor child is so distressed.
Not today walked in the shop lots of toys for distraction. Craig was calming he tested out what his limitations were with my little man. Then started to cut hair. Following him around cutting at intervals. Before we knew it all done. Not one tear or screams. Very proud of my little man. Craig was amazing can’t believe he was able to cut his hair with all the moving around and my little man pushing hands away. I will be doing regular visit’s now. So thank you Craig I just wish I knew about you along time ago.

We have always struggled getting haircuts for my son who’s autistic and non-verbal. However, we have had such a brilliant experience when we visited Craig’s Barber shop earlier today.

Craig was amazing with my son, really welcoming, patient and took his time. My son was getting giddy and smiled throughout whilst getting a haircut which never happened before! He was so comfortable with such a calm atmosphere in the shop and the haircut was brilliant too. We will absolutely be coming back to Craig!

Craig has really changed my sons fear of scissors and combs. Two big issues for him in the past.

The past 3 years we have tried everywhere in Greater Manchester.

My son loves Craig. He really spends the time to figure out the approach of what will work. It's amazing to watch Craig work. For anyone whose child struggles with haircuts or requires special attention and consideration please try Craig.

My lad has been having his haircut off Craig for about two years now just after lockdown.

He is anazing calm patient and ny lad can mess about a bit with the hairdressing tools Craig just shows him how things work

He has even started to have a little shave now :) Lovely shop great coffee shop tunes too

Amazing service craig is good at what he does he manages to cut my sons hair who’s got autism which has previously been a traumatic experience for both me and son but he’s amazing we’ve booked to come again and will continue to do so thanks craig

An amazing experience to see our son who is autistic so relaxed with Craig cutting his hair. This would normally be a traumatic experience for him, Craig took control and made him feel so comfortable and relaxed. Our other son loved the experience too. We've booked up for the rest of the year!!

The booking system suited us and was easy to navigate, with lots of available slots. Laura cut my son's hair and did a sterling job, ensuring it was exactly as he wanted! We've booked our next appointment already.

Absolutely incredible went above and beyond for my little chatter box who has ASD and other additional needs. She didn’t need to sit in the chair, she sat on the floor and played with the toys whilst she had her hair cut. Cannot recommend enough. I have mentioned the barbers/hairdresser to school (special Ed school) as I know a lot of other children would never have their haircut due to the overwhelming anxiety that comes with it. So happy with the experience my daughter is asking if we can now go every Saturday to play and have her hair trimmed 🤍

My son, Albie, has autism and he has always found having his hair cut very distressing. Craig was fantastic with him and put in lots of effort to make him feel comfortable before introducing the clippers! It was such a relief that Albie was happy for his hair to be cut with Craig. He e will definitely be back again!

Going to the barbers with my son has always been a traumatic experience for everyone involved, even just getting him into the shop is hard enough.

I was recommended to visit Craig by our nursery as he is renowned for working with people who have nero-diverse conditions.

I initially booked in for an hour with it being our first visit but to my amazement we were in and out in 15 minutes! Rather than sticking to the standard routine of sitting in a chair, Craig allowed my 3 year old to explore and followed his lead whilst playing with a variety of toys available for different ages.

This has been the best experience so far and we will 100% be returning soon.
