Selling mum's house....
I've been moving my mum from her 4 bedroom house in Cobham to a 2 bedroom flat. Curchods have been handling the sale extremely well; and although we've had to adjust pricing given the current state of the market, I genuinely feel the Curchods team achieved the fairest deal for us as sellers, and also for the buyers.

They have been really communicative throughout the process ensuring we knew exactly what was happening and when; but have also gone above and beyond in helping me get the house cleared and cleaned during the sale, supporting with access for trades as they visit whilst respecting the property.

We have been extremely happy with the service we've received from Curchods Walton-on-Thames office in relation to the sale of our house. From valuation through arrangements for viewings and finally our recent exchange of contracts, matters have all been handled in a timely and efficient manner, and we've been kept fully informed of developments. All of the Curchods staff we've had contact with have been easy to deal with and helpful, but special thanks are due to Sean and Tony who negotiated us through the anxious phase of actually achieving exchange of contracts.

From the outset the sales team at Curchods approached selling our house with professionalism and enthusiasm. The current market is challeging and the journey to a succesful outcome has been tricky, throughout the team have remained positive and supportive. They have handled the process with determination and tenacity whilst always taking our views and needs in to account. A difficult process but we always felt in safe hands with the sales team at Curchods. Thank you to everyone there.

Not a good experience. Not that many of the other agents were much better. This experience is proof that agents are people of limited abilities who merely show houses in addition to Rightmove as the main source of footfall. When it came to any complications with the sale they were utterly incompetent and used UK law as a get out giving all the power to the buyer. We lost tens of thousands of pounds and were left with significant ill health due to the lack of urgency, support and professionalism in order to get the buyer to complete in time. It took an age and a lot of money and stress to sell. If you are unfortunate enough to be in a position to sell when you have bought with Help to Buy then they do not have the knowledge to support you with this. The only reason they have two stars is the fact that we sold. But it was a painful and expensive experience and the £5000 fee should have been halved. Appalling service. Will never use them again.

We were well served throughout by Curchods. Good market advice was provided by Matthew Knight whilst we were considering our agent for the sale process. Ben Sela took us smoothly through the process from viewings to completion helping us reach our target price in an uncertain market. They were responsive and professional, critical factors as we were overseas during the sale process. Highly recommended.

Ruby at the New Malden branch was absolutely outstanding. She was invaluable at helping us find the right house for us, and was brilliant at keeping things moving.

There were a lot of complications in our chain. But Ruby took it all in her stride and made sure everything got over the line. She was professional, communicative and friendly throughout.

EXCELLENT company. After having a very poor experience with another local estate agent (poor communication, lack of action - final straw being they didn't get back to me after I called for feedback to discuss) I took a leap of faith and changed agent. Ken came to my flat. From start to finish I appreciated the honesty, the call to action (immediately started seeing things happening... viewings, calls with feedback etc etc). Highly recommended. If you want a quick sale and want a company actually motivated to get that sale use this company.

Curchods are experienced, pleasant to engage with and really have their clients needs at the heart of what they do. I would recommend. A special shout out to Adam, Millie and Jonathan. They work hard at what they do and excel at it.

From first contact with Curchods they presented as more professional and knowledgeable than the other estate agents we had encountered.

We had high expectations and they did not disappoint us at all.

We knew that our mothers home was exceptional and both Phil and Mark at
Curchods acknowledged how well it presented in comparison to other homes of the same style.

The photographs and description of the property were expertly presented and with our input in dressing the home it was a credit to our recently deceased mother.
We were supported well through a difficult time by the team and are thankful for the achievement in getting over the asking price.

The updates over the waiting to complete time were appreciated.

I have no hesitation in recommending Curchods and would definitely turn to them in the future.
