Buying a house is stressful enough and certain estate agents are unpleasant and pushy unless you go with Curchods. A great team to deal with. 100% professional and helpful all the times. One of the worst estate agents you can deal with.

a) first they talk nasty behind my back without putting the phone on hold.

b) then they showed me a house which they told me after the viewing it was under off and we couldn't offer on it anymore.

c) then they told me they will sort out a viewing on a property but there was a viewing before and if they don't show up we could have it. Sorry not second best.

Anyway, I would avoid going through this estate agent. Poor buyer skills.

Selling our flat from abroad would normally have been no mean task. Thanks to Chris Jakob and his team,Barbara in particular, any obstacle that came up was dealt with in a professional and caring way.

We can simply conclude by saying they are highly recommendable.

The property was marketed as refurbished, with works taking place before the tenancy began. Once the paperwork was signed, it became clear that repairs and improvements stopped because the property was not presented as promised when I moved in. Over 18 months, the boiler failed three times, with the same issue recurring and leaving us without hot water and heating for days. Fixes were consistently short‑term and cost‑driven.
Curchods followed the landlord’s direction throughout and did not act impartially until after I engaged a lawyer. The tenancy concluded the same way it was managed — with unreasonable and unsupported deposit deductions, causing further unnecessary stress.

The initial introduction was very professional and we really liked that the whole team came to see us and our home before it went on the market. Our home sold very quickly and the team were very helpful and kept us informed. Thank you !
