Faultless service and best quality…

Faultless service and best quality workmanship I've seen
My husband and I were looking for a loose cover sofa for a long time before we came across daia home. Anything decent we saw in a showroom was priced over £5000 for a 3 seater, and more or less the same online, which is frankly ridiculous.

We were about to give up when we came across daia home. They have the largest range of loose cover sofas we could ever hope to find. We had our reservations ordering without even seeing the sofa, but looking at the guarantees they offer and their feedback, we decided to go for it.

We've now had our sofa for the past 3 months and I still love looking at it. The loose cover is so beautifully tailored and the Spa linen is wonderfully soft to touch. The elegance this sofa has brought to our living room is an absolute joy. And all that for a third of the prices we were looking at before coming across daia home.

Fab product, poor service, dreadful delivery

We are thrilled with our new sofas - they are beautiful and high quality. We would have given the sofas 5 stars, but the delivery experience and communication from Daia was extremely poor. We did not order bespoke sofas, and they took 22 weeks to deliver instead of the maximum 18 weeks. We had to chase consistently and were given numerous delivery dates, which went by. In the end, we had to liaise with the courier company ourselves, who informed us that Daia had cancelled the delivery. We then went back to Daia and they rearranged for another courier to deliver our sofas. A lovely man turned up at 7pm on Friday night (we were told 1pm) with our sofas in what was a large transit van. He had a load of other parcels to drop off and he was by himself! Thankfully my husband was able to help him. We are highly satisfied with the product now it’s here. However, I would suggest anyone ordering from Daia should do so on a credit card to safeguard the purchase, and you may well need to chase the delivery, as we did.

Well after I have just read some of…

Well after I have just read some of the reviews on here, I have to say, I have had an excellent experience with Daiahome. I wanted a bespoke size. Every question I asked was answered promptly. I was told three months and it was approx just under that for delivery. For the price of the sofa , considering they changed the depth of it for me , was excellent value. Delivery company informed me, all the way. Two person team . And Im now sitting comfortably on the new sofa as I write this. Thank you Daiahome. I would use you again.

Beware of Daia Home

Beware of DH
BEWARE OF DAIA HOME (DH) I ordered 2 Darcy sofas (now no longer available, I wonder why?) with a bespoke width of 225cm on the 31 Aug 2023 and didn’t receive them until 4 April 2024, over 7 months later. Not once did DH contact me with any updates and I wasn’t informed until Christmas of the reason for the delay having continually chased them for updates.

The sofas were delivered 4 April 2024 by Proovia. As I was now furious with DH I insisted the delivery people waited whilst I unpacked the sofas – OMG! both of the sofas were completely different to the Darcy sofas ordered and the arm of one sofa was damaged with a huge indentation. All the dimensions (sizes) of the sofas were different to those advertised on the DH website for the Darcy sofa (height, depth, with and without cushions and width) baring in mind that I ordered and paid for an exact bespoke width of 225cm, one sofa was 220cm and the other 221cm). The Darcy sofa has a very distinct square shape, the sofas I received were a completely different shape, curved and sloping. The sofa frame and cushions should have had piping to emphasis the square shape and instead had flat sewn seams and to add insult to injury the sofas had the wrong legs and were brown and not black.

Also, the sofa cushions are not reversable and that is not stated anywhere on the website and I wasn’t told. The sofas received were definitely not the Darcy sofas ordered.

As advised in DH home Terms of Service I rejected the sofas but the courier Proovia refused to return them to DH. I contacted DH immediately, sent them photos and the only response from David by email was that the sofas were exactly what I ordered. Since them every form of communication – email, chat, phone message has been completely ignored. Also the sofas are very narrow to sit on. I am 5ft 4 and the back of my knees don’t touch the sofa cushion when I am sat down. The cushions are so hard it’s impossible to sit on them for any length of time.

You may wonder why I have taken so long to leave a review. First, I stupidly had faith that DH would consider my complaint (no hope and no communication) and two, the length of time it takes to seek recompense through my bank and solicitor.

Without being disparaging, do not use this company unless you want to be deprived of the sofas you ordered, money you paid and treated appallingly. I lost over £2700!!!

Also check Companies House, DH regularly change their company name, I wonder why they need to do that? Read the terms of Service they are written in such a way that DH can do exactly whatever they want with your sofas and remove all your contractual rights or so they think. We work hard to be able to have a nice comfortable home so PLEASE BE AWARE of DH!

Absolutely ATROCIOUS. I ordered my sofa in January 2023. After several missed delivery dates due on their side, including one cancelled by email on the evening of the day they were meant to deliver, stating the sofa had been damaged in transit - an experience other people seem to have had as well - I finally received the sofa mid December 2023. This was MORE THAN 11 MONTHS after placing the order.

I had paid extra for specific dimensions - but on arrival the dimensions were all wrong. The sofa was too high, too narrow and in places 15cm different from the item ordered.
Although I paid for extra depth the sofa was actually narrower than the regular sofa on their website.
Customer service was dreadful. I heard absolutely NOTHING back from them, despite sending emails and leaving voice messages.
Thank goodness I paid on my credit card. I have won the dispute and had a full refund from my credit card company.
I expected a comfy deep good quality sofa - and I received an item that was cheap AND uncomfortable - and waited just 2 weeks shy of A YEAR to get it.
You had to sit bolt upright on the sofa as the depth of the sofa was so narrow. It actually felt like you were tipping off. And it was sooo uncomfortable.

What’s more, the leather was very cheap and the sofa bed terrible. In actual fact the whole construction of the sofa was really poor quality. I had to take it apart to get it out of my house - and there was cheap flimsy plywood and cardboard inside - and lots of nails holding it together.

Where was thing made???

I also ordered a dining chair from them that I think they import from Italy. This was perfect.

Clearly they can import some great quality products, but who ever supplies their sofas is truly RUBBISH.

And I don't know how a company manages to survive with such dreadful customer service. Why be so bad in this day and age. It doesn't take a lot to return someone's call or email.

When I first ordered the sofa in Jan '23 I checked the reviews and they were great, I didn't look again until I actually received the sofa in the December of that year.

It seemed from October onwards the really bad reviews were there for all to see.

And there are plenty to see.

Don't be fooled by their wonderful website. Clearly something is going badly wrong.

11 months to get my complete sofa!
I ordered my sofa in April 2023 and received it December 2023, 8 months for one sofa. Double the 12-16 wait given when I placed my order. It was also delivered without the feet and after a number of chase emails and mistakes by Daia I was finally able to put the feet on my sofa late March - 11 months after placing my order! It was also delivered with 2 instead of 4 scatter cushions. They agreed to provide 2 with a frill edge but months after they should have been delivered said their workshop weren’t able to make them. They’re not hard to make, I asked for some of the sofa fabric so I could get the cushions made myself but they refused. They also refused to consider any discount / compensation for the terrible service described above.

Don't buy from them- Worst customer service ever!!

My friend ordered a sofa 6 months ago and hasn't had it yet
They set a delivery date so she got rid of her old sofa and on the night before the delivery day they cancelled it and moved it to another date in 2 weeks
So she has now no sofa in her living room because of this unacceptable customer service
It's the worst experience ever
I will advice all my friends to avoid them

I received my sofas 2 weeks earlier…

I received my sofas 2 weeks earlier than advertised, so I'm absolutely over the moon. I was asked by daia home to write a review here and I can see why. There are some pretty bad reviews here and I'm glad I didn't see them before ordering my sofas, or I would definitely not have gone through with my purchase.

I suppose it goes to show that unhappy customers shout the loudest. Obviously I would have been furious if my sofa was as late as what some other people here say it did and I would have left bad review right away. But I was very happy with my order and never even crossed my mind to leave a feedback. I'm sure the majority of happy customers don't write a review, while 100% of the unhappy ones do.

Having seen these reviews I would still not hesitate to order from daia home again. It's not just about getting my sofas earlier than expected, it's the exceptional quality of the sofas and the service they provided.

Thanks again David and Alex. I have recommended you to all my associates. Keep up the good work and don't let the bad reviews distract you.

Nearly cancelled the order but glad I didn't VERY pleased

The delivery time far exceeded the estimate provided on the website, and there were moments of frustration due to lack of updates on the revised delivery schedule. However, whenever I reached out to Daia Home, they promptly responded. Initially, reading some negative reviews on another platform made me anxious to the point where I contemplated canceling my order.

Fortunately, I decided against it, and when the sofas and footstool finally arrived, I was relieved I hadn't canceled. I ordered two Hugo 3-seater sofas and a footstool in velvet, and I couldn't be happier with the quality. They are impeccably crafted, incredibly comfortable, and visually stunning. They truly surpass anything offered by well-known large sofa companies.

Without hesitation, I would purchase from Daia Home again. I'm already envisioning buying a sofa bed from them in the future. My advice: don't let reviews from other sites sway you. Be patient for your sofa delivery; the quality and appearance of the products more than compensate for the wait.

9 months for sofa to arrive

I ordered a sofa from Daia and the service was completely shambolic. It took 9 MONTHS for my sofa to arrive. I constantly chased them and the customer service was appallingly. Had to chase repeatedly to get an answer. They offered me an Ottoman as compensation for the delay which never arrived and they just stopped responding to any emails or calls. Please avoid ordering from here, it really is horrendous.

The response below is categorically untrue. We agreed a monetary refund and an ottoman as compensation for the delay. Email dated 23 August 2023 from Daia reads “I can confirm that Ottoman is included in this order and we will refund the difference to your original method of payment to match current sales price”. Ottoman never arrived. Its taken 18 months to reply to my original post which about sums up the level of customer service. No idea why you are re-litigating this now.

The refund of £204, which is approximately 13% of your total order value was issued on 6 September 2023. please check your bank statements. Your last statement is false and misleading

The company failed to deliver the correct sofa and is now ignoring me

This is my second one star review of Daia Home as I have still not received a completed order after purchasing the sofa in April 2023 - almost a year ago.

In December 2023 Daia Home delivered an incomplete sofa; the cushions were incorrect, as was the cover. They had also promised to deliver an ottoman as a gesture of goodwill for the delay I had experienced, which was not delivered with the sofa. When following up with them on these issues they told me they would deliver all the correct, outstanding items by end of Jan 2024.

In mid Jan I followed up with the team to get an update on delivery slots. Since then I have sent 7 emails as I have not had a response to a single one. It is now mid Feb and I still dont have the missing parts promised to me (that I was supposed to receive by end of Jan), and the Daia Home team is outright ignoring me. I've not had any response.

I implore anyone reading this review to not go near this company. It has been a horrendous experience and I still don't have the complete sofa I ordered.

Daia Home - if you're reading this, I'm still waiting for a response about the outstanding parts of my sofa that you promised to deliver at the end of Jan.

Great sofa and outstanding service

Whenever someone comes over, they always rave about my couch. Alex really helped me out by explaining everything about this fancy sofa, which made buying it super easy.

The only problem is that I thought it would be wider. The measurements are correct, so I guess it's my fault. I could have easily fitted the 245cm in my living room. Gutted! I think we will have to order an armchair now to fill the gap.

One last thing, I thought the legs were a little too short, so they sent me replacements free of charge. You won't get this kind of service with the big brand names. They really didn't have to send me any legs at all, and I was fully expecting to pay for them. I have already recommended them to my friends and family and my sister has placed an order with them.

Getting help from Daia Home was amazing…

Getting help from Daia Home was amazing from start to finish. We were pretty nervous about buying sofas without seeing them first, but the clear sizes and good info about what they're stuffed with helped a lot. The leather looks and feels awesome, and our 3-seater sofas and armchair are made really well. Just make sure to check if they’ll fit through your doors. We got ours in through the back garden. The delivery went super smoothly, no hitches at all.

I highly recommend them for their exceptional product quality and the genuinely helpful sales team who assisted me in selecting the perfect fabric. The only minor issue in an otherwise seamless experience was a delivery miscommunication - they arrived a day earlier than expected. Nevertheless, my sofa is fantastic, and my overall experience was very positive.

Within just three days, they decided to construct a new cushion cover for me. Although I was content with the initial ones, they insisted on the replacement. Their customer service is genuinely unparalleled. With other companies, I've had to wrestle to address issues, but daia home was outstandingly proactive and helpful. If you're considering purchasing from them, don't hesitate. They're an exceptional company through and through, and they'll go above and beyond if any issue arises. Many thanks!

Excellent sofa and a fantastic service

Excellent sofa and a fantastic service. I came across daia home just after I moved to Spain.

I wasn't able to find any good sofa companies in Madrid. They are either super expensive or cheap and nasty.

I contacted daia home and they said that they unfortunately couldn't send directly to Spain any longer because of Brexit. But David was kind enough to do some research for me and find out if there was anyway to get a sofa to Spain. He eventually found a removal company that can bring furniture to Spain so I placed my order for the Deco sofa.

I finally received my sofa this weekend and I'm absolutely over the moon with its quality, comfort and the unique design. It's easily the best piece of furniture I've ever purchased.

The only downside was the time it took with the removal company to bring it across to Madrid. It was very frustrating because they changed the delivery date several times. In the my sofa took around a month to get from UK to Spain. Thank you Brexit!!

I would like to thank David for app his help throughout. I know I must have been driving you mad at times, but he was always polite and helpful. I'm already planning my next purchase and I've recommended them to friends both in the UK and Spain.

Terrible experience placed an order end…

Terrible experience placed an order end of May was told 12 weeks timeline. No updates or communication and had to keep sending emails for updates. After 5 months was given a delivery date, took day off work (no delivery was made). Again had to email to find out what was going on to be told the sofa was damaged and needed to be recovered thus further delay. There is no customer care and found they where just not interested. In the end I cancelled my order and requested a refund. I would never place an order with this company again due to this bad experience.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Ordered and paid for a deep seated sofa in February. Delivered in August - wrong measurements. Proportions are all wrong and very narrow and uncomfortable. Company are not interested. I have engaged help of credit card company to get a refund and for company to accept a return. I will get my money back as clearly in breach of contract but now I’m being accused of fraud and theft! Do not use this company. They do not show proper bad reviews on their website.
