Saved our house purchase!

Could not recommend Dampserve enough. Our mortgage lender requested a damp survey 1 week before we were supposed to complete, and dampserve went above and beyond to help us get that survey in time. Communication was excellent throughout the process, they organised the appointment directly with the estate agents which saved us admin and stress! Thank you to James and the team, professional and reliable. Would use again if we ever move house!

Un-contactable

After emails, multiple calls (eventually blocked my number/unhooked the phone), and twice filled in the website form, finally got through and booked a survey verbally, they didn't confirm by email or phone, and didn't show up.

Dealt with Elise.

Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously; however, after thoroughly checking our records, we have no record of any booking, call, or correspondence under your name or details. Our logs confirm that no appointment was scheduled, nor do we have any record of the interaction described.

Please note that we do not arrange surveys verbally — all clients are required to complete our online contact form. Appointments are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Additionally, there is no one named “Elise” employed by our company, and we do not block or ignore customer calls. It appears this review may have been left in error or may refer to a different company.

Fantastic company

Fantastic company. Second time I've used them now (2018 & 2023). They recommend the correct treatment and don't sell me a damp proof course. Work was spot on A***

Awful work and service

I've had survey and worked performed in 2019. Having same issue again, tried to contact them by email and phone number no one returned my call.

Hi Miss Francisco,

Our records show that we attended your property and assessed the issue, which was identified as condensation rather than a damp or structural problem. We also had several phone conversations regarding this matter and explained that installing adequate ventilation, such as a kitchen fan, would help prevent the issue from returning.

Condensation is often related to lifestyle and ventilation factors rather than a defect requiring remedial work. Our surveyor discussed this during the visit and provided advice on how to manage the problem moving forward.

We’re always happy to clarify any advice or revisit the property if new concerns have developed. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch so we can assist further. Based on our records and previous communications, we believe this review does not accurately reflect the service provided.

A waste of time.

Got in touch using the web form. Was given a quote via email. Tried to contact again to book the survey but they don’t answer the phones or reply to emails or give you a call back when you leave your number. Filled the web form in again and asked for a call back, which they tell you to do, nobody bothered to ring. Waste of time.
