Truly pathetic service. 1 star is way too much for this company. Landlord home emergency cover is what I paid for with assurances from Direct Line that DAS world react to the emergency. On every occasion I've tried to use this policy, they've taken so long that I've had to pay somebody to come out myself. I would strongly advise you to avoid them.

This case has been going on a long time and has been complicated and difficult. The person dealing with our case has kept us up to date and informed at all times and has been good at advising without leading. We are happy with the outcome and very satisfied with the handling of our case.

Terrible Terrible Service. Please believe all the 1 star reviews and stay away from this company. They do not bother about the customer service and after falsely promising a result and get back soon, it never happens. When complained, we were informed that it is not covered by the policy, which was months after them confirming and assuring that we will proceed with the case. Poor staff, poor policies and absolutely terrible service!!!

I think 1 star is too much. They offer advice which anyone could obtain from the internet. Most of their policies have so many exclusions and limits it's not worth taking them out. I'm cancelling mine they are useless. Besides this they don't ring back when they say they will..shameful

If I could give less than 1 Star I would!
Useless we have been without heating and hot water for days and have a home emergency Insurance with DAS. We are still waiting for a contractor/call/anything!!!

Avoid at all costs.

I felt that the company was very professional and kept me updated throughout the entire process,they were available whenever I had any problems or questions,and helped me with the court day process.

Called at 1130 this morning
Still awaiting now it is 1900
Email stating waiting for deployment.

Waste of money and time. They even don't have any legal person who can give you a good advise. Total rubbish all around.

Absolutely terrible, registered a claim online yesterday at 1pm and no update, then decided to call in a four hour queue, what a nightmare company, be warned!!

Helpful up to a point. My initial claim was raised in March 2022. It is now November and the issue is still unresolved. Between DAS, my broker, Hertz, S&G and the garage I’ve just been passed from person to person. Nobody is taking responsibility for my loss of earnings due to 2 unacceptable re-sprays and my van is still not sign written. I have requested a payout instead as I am now looking to sell the vehicle but have heard nothing. I can see DAS to not respond here so will not go in to further detail.

They seem to be on the ball. Reasonably regular contact. Advice seemed honest and clear. Would quite happily use them again.

Really friendly very efficient competent and approachable. When I didn't understand a matter - or failed to understand the weight of an action which I had to undertake they were always patient and kind - but also were very helpful too. They did close matters very successfully. Thank you.

Paul Rosser made the process of dealing with a difficult situation extremely fluid, he was open, honest and always on hand to lend his advice. I cannot thank Paul enough for his help in this matter.

I took out Landlord insurance with another company and when the the tenant defaulted on their rent and failed to move out on due date I turned to my inurer.
Because the tenant had defaulted on her rent within the first few weeks of the insurance taken out the claim was deemend invalid. The tenant had been there for over 8 years but this was not taken into consideration.
No point in having legal and rent cover if the insurer takes 20 days to decide they do not want to take on a claim let alone pay the the rent cover. Avoid any insurance company who states they work with this company at all cost.
