I had Datarecovery.com retrieve data off of a failed external hard drive. I went to Best Buy to see if they could retrieve the data. They quoted me a price of somewhere between $750 t0 $1600 to try and retrieve the data. I found Data recovery on the internet. Called and talked to them and sent the failed hard drive to them. They retrieved all the data on the hard drive in about 4 days. The cost was less than Best Buy quoted me. I will use Data Recovery again and recommend them to anyone else. Great service and very friendly.

Reasonable terms compared to other data recovery services, lower price, quick service and all data recovered. Other services quoted high rates for the same delivery timeline and lower rates if work is scheduled later. Free HD to return recovered items was a bonus.

Very quick, complete recovery of my dead 3TB HD with 23 yrs worth of pictures and other data. Communication and service was excellent, and saved 30% through Western Digital.

A few months ago my son ran through the house and pulled my cord to my external hard drive slamming the hard drive into the wall. My computer would no longer recognize the drive. This meant ALL my pictures were gone and I mean ALL of them. I was devastated and sick to my stomach. I found data recovery and though it was pricey they were able to recover all my data that I thought was gone. I highly recommend their services. Data recovery has retrieved my western digital drive and I am happy. I thought I lost tax returns, music and pictures but they were able to get it all back for me. Especially my grand daughters pictures. I needed her items above all because she was taken from us in February 2017. It was sooooooo good to get everything back. These guys recovered an old external hard disk that failed. I love that they would look at the drive for free and give me an analysis of what they think happened. Thankfully, they fixed the drive and recovered the most of files. In particular, Sandi was super nice to work with. She was friendly and responsive at every turn. Great job!

Very methodical approach to restoring data. The staff work quickly while keeping you informed of progress and involving client approval at critical steps. I expanded my appreciation of small, external drives and the bad behavior which might affect their operation. Kudos to the front office staff who handle client calls with empathy and sincere interest in your requirements, and take initiative to help satisfy those requirements.

Had a wonderful experience with datarecovery.com. They fully recovered a (pretty severely) damaged external hard drive that wouldn't even mount to my computer by the time I sent it to them. I called them in the midst of panicking about the drive and Kerri was very reassuring and helpful. They even gave me a discount for being a WD customer. They are maybe not the cheapest or fastest option, but I didn't care about that; the files on my drive were very important and I cared about the highest likelihood of my files being saved. If that's the boat you're in, take my advice, and trust your data with these technicians!

I am so glad that I discovered this company!! I dropped my external hard drive with ALL of my photos of the last 7 years including all my daughters photos since birth. This company was able to recover them and in a timely manner. It wasn't cheap, but it's worth every penny. I would not hesitate to choose this company for your data recovery needs. everything was done in a good time frame...and all the data was recovery in only 3 days...you might spend a little more than wanting too, but for good work

Unexpected (and unwelcome) simultaneous failure of WD 4TB primary AND backup drives. Panic. Professionals at Data Recovery were able to recover ALL of my data from the backup drive (my choice.) They specialize (and offer a discount) for working with WD drives (still my first choice.)
I hope I never need their services again BUT if I do, they will be the first people I call.

I had a 3TB drive that was hit with a power surge during a major thunderstorm and after several attempts to work around what I thought was just an access issue. Then a friend of mine suggested Datarecovery.com, Inc. and I sent the drive off to them praying that they could help. This drive though backed up, I had several family files that were new. So off to Datarecovery.com, Inc., it went. And in a few days, I had ALL my data back. While the directories were a little confusing at first on their recovery, I was so grateful that all my data was there! Intact and useable!

Dealing with Datarecovery was a pleasure (losing my data not withstanding). The service was expensive but 100% effective. They let me know what they would need and my IT department was able to provide this info, Datarecovery was able to, after some micro soldering, recover my data so all in all, went very well.....
