Bought a Marc jacobs bag online, they sent the wrong one, numerous phone calls and emails later, post returned the bag to them,
They automatically returned my money, which was good but I wanted the bag, waited 40 mins on hold to ask for the bag, bag is no longer in stock, so because of someone’s incompetence I can’t have the bag. But on the plus side, I have seen the delivery of a $1000 bag, stuffed in a box with paper thrown in, no dust bag or protection around the bag, I won’t be buying an expensive bag from them again,Bad experience and won’t be back anytime soon😘
A STORE I NO LONGER LIKE
They even have trouble sending me my David Jones Amex membership rewards, excuses after excuses, beginning of the year till now, i got ZERO. And they won't let me collect the redemption cards at their store or have a system where u can offset purchases.
This is NOT the David Jones from before. They have ZERO sincerity and service. I won't buy anything from them again anymore...It's less headaches buying from overseas department stores, most of them give free overseas shipping anyway.

I’ve ordered click n collect and have been waiting in store for 2 hours to collect my product. They said to come back in 40 minutes and it’ll be ready. I come back over an hour later and it is still not ready. They are making me wait for them. Don’t use this service. They didn’t even let me refund the click n collect and simply just buy it off the shelf when I can see the product. Truly appalling! Wasting my time.

DONT BOTHER WITH THE SALES, IT IS RUBBISH. Bought a Dolce & Gabbana top online. The original price was $2,300 discounted to $686 two days ago. Didn't bother getting anything else. Received email today that it wasn't in stock. What rubbish. How can they sell online, you pay for it, then be told it is not in stock. So now I don't have the top I am after and all the good designer wear is sold out. Rang customer service and waited an hour before hanging up. Rang again for a call back and was offered a $100 voucher, ARE YOU KIDDING? David Jones didn't have the decency to refund my money yet. Never again. What a waste of time and a huge disappointment. Not surprised they got sold so cheap.

Only store in QLD to range a certain 'expensive' shirt from England. Waited almost half an hour on Sunday 13 Nov for the chat bot. The text icon on same page states: Why wait? Text us & a team member will get back to you once available. What They don't tell you is that meant 25 hours later. The following day at 2:15 arrived in Brisbane 2 hours away.

It was Queens Plaza. Only put one hour on my park. My Fault. Couldn't find Queens Plaza. My Fault.
I left without the shirt. My Fault. Got back in my car and the text came through. Quite happy actually that I didn't find them. Thanks David Jones. Good result.
Avoid David Jones online shopping
Online shopping experience is appalling. They drop ship most of the items then refuse to provide refund if the order is unfulfilled and instead blame the vendor or Australia Post. I am still waiting on my order from 7 weeks ago, and David Jones take 1-2 weeks to respond to emails, they don’t even provide courtesy of including their name. Avoid david Jones online shopping!!

It took me 4 hours before being able to talk to someone. They don't respond to phone calls - chat works only sometimes and they just ignore emails.
I can't believe such a big company delivers this kind of (non-existing) service.

Purchased a pan at DJ Wellington before it closed, was charged incorrectly, took it back for refund where I was assured it was processed and was charged a second time at correct price. 2 months + no refund and a pan I have paid for twice, completed impossible to complain in NZ. Never trust DJ!

Parramatta DJ. Staff accused me of returning a poor quality item. Despite me returning a brand new top with tags and receipt and original untouched DJ bag. What gobsmacked me is that the top is designed to be sheer and the staff was so rude and blunt to accuse a customer of something they have not done. If she walked to the shelf and compared it to the same item, her brain would have realised her incompetence. Appalling behaviour. Just horrible. KMART, TARGET, MYER and even Best and less offered superior customer service to me on the same day.

I would give David Jones less than one star if I could. They make promises but don't deliver on them - false and misleading. I am waiting for a winter item that no-one appears to be able to find. It is cold now, and I would like it or my money back. Instead I have been getting the cold shoulder. I wish I had seen these reviews first - I would never have shopped there.

Forced to wait for them to get their act together for the wrong item that I received. They would not send out what I had ordered, even though I have the order number etc, nor process a refund. Be careful when buying a sleep maker mattress from David Jones, slept on ours for one night and hurts hips. Some stores have a try out policy, but not David Jones so have a $2700 mattress we can't sleep on. The David Jones sleep maker person said to go to Kmart or Target and buy a bed topper. Be careful where you buy.

I had purchased an item with a promo gift card, item had been ordered 2/02/2022 and delivered 7/02/2022. there was a gift card with a expiry after 1 month after the purchase which was 3/2/2022. what is going to happen to the days which the item was delayed for the delivery you should consider that in your promo expiry qq items are not shipped the same day so why aren't you considering the delivery delays in the expiry. very disappointing and not a good customer service my card was expired on 3/3 and they didn't even extend it for a day! ordno: 91523000
