fast delivery, but when i sent an email with a question for cthe right battery for my GT3 i got no answer, so i took a chanse on the right battery.

As you can see i have 2 previous reviews for Deadweight, as soon as i installed the battery. This is a long term update.

Battery worked for 20 months before taking it out of an Aston DB9 to put it in another car. Lucky i did, as the battery was heavily bulged on 3 sides (only charged with NOCO lithium ion battery charger, same as my McLaren 540C battery which is fine after 7 years).
Looks like the battery had been degraded for a while but cannot see it in an Audi R8 as battery is hidden.

Contacted deadweight to ask about the 2 year warranty through the website contact page on 16-12-25, no reply. Battery works well actually and is lightweight but not worth an explosion or fire. Maybe buy an Antigravity battery instead... Costs a bit more but I'm sure they would have honoured their warranty or replied (i have now ordered an Antigravity H6 equiv for my Porsche Turbo). Make your own decision from this, most reviews are only short term but this is an honest long term owner review (have had 2 deadweight batteries total)

I can not fault the product in any way, the only issue I had was that I had to email them to find out when it was going to be delivered. That was after waiting quite a few days without any email from them.

Battery took several weeks to ship, when it finally shipped it got held up at UPS for several weeks, I asked dead weight for help, with no response. Very disappointing

Bought the T500 for my e46 M3.
I've not actually installed it yet, but Tim was on hand via email to support with my pre-purchase questions.
So as it stands it's five stars. I'll most likely update this review in six months.

I've been looking for a battery for some time and I finally found them. It's light and compact, super. I highly recommend it.

Only UPS took quite long to deliver from UK to banana republic Germany.

Sent a support request email for order #1591 questioning if it was correct one side of the battery under the anode should get hot when on it's initial charge (with their charger) after the battery was delivered, before fitting. Never got a response back.

2nd time starting the engine after fitting (Ariel Atom 4, Honda engine, not even a big starter draw), the battery failed and now only produces 9v with no current and will not charge.

Battery is *very* light compared to the lead acid equivalent. Not disappointed in the weight savings, but very disappointed in the lack of response.

Great Product
Recommend to anyone wanting to reduce weight but keep OEM battery performance.
