Very unhappy with the length of time it took to get the lift (in a private home) serviced. Swift to take money though. Still waiting for the second maintenance call (already a month late). Quoting exorbitant amounts for LOLER certification which is not legally required in a private home and to reconnect the phone in the lift (£2000+) which is not required ... we have mobiles nowadays. Update: They are over 4 weeks late with the second service and I had to ring and email several times to get a date. For the price they charge I shouldn't have to be chasing them to fulfil their contract.

Very disappointing experience with Pace Group.

We operate five hotels and, after comparing Pace Group’s charges with the costs at our other properties, we found their pricing to be approximately double.

In our experience, an engineer may attend for around one hour, but the subsequent invoice includes call-out or labour charges that appear significantly higher and have to be disputed. Almost every visit seems to develop into a proposed repair costing £2,000 to £3,000, which makes it very difficult to have confidence in the pricing.

We had also previously raised concerns about charges that appeared higher than agreed. Despite paying for their services, our hotel lift remains out of operation, and we did not receive the support or value we expected. We were also asked to pay an annual lift dialler charge in advance while the lift was not working and the main contract was being terminated.

We have now decided to move to another provider. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Pace Group where possible. At the very least, obtain alternative quotations, request a fully itemised breakdown and carefully check every invoice before making payment.

We have worked with Deltron Lifts for several years now at our hotel on the Isle of Wight, starting with Mick Jones all those years ago, all the way to Ben and Chloe who now take care of us.

Mick is the wonderful man who took our little lift (which most thought was a waste of time), and managed to get it working several years ago, and I cannot thank him enough for turning up in our reception one day.

Mick built a relationship that has lasted the years, both professionally and personally and now that professional relationship has been passed on to Chloe, who is a breath of fresh air for us - it is really nice to see someone carrying the torch and carrying it well!

Chloe and our friendly neighbourhood engineer Ben, have helped us again and again, and I couldn’t be more grateful to them for their hard work and commitment to us.

If you have a lift, call Deltron and if you are lucky enough to be on the Isle of Wight, call Chloe and Ben!

Awful service, impossible to get a response by email and they do not stick to SLAs.

The best experience with Deltron, the whole team have been absolutely incredible. I rang the office and got through too Jilly-Anne , she was amazing, so attentive , caring and genuine.

Called Deltron lifts as I was unhappy with the service from another lift company who had been out to repair our low traffic lift numerous times (every couple of months).
After spending thousands, the lift breaking again and then getting a bill for several thousand pounds from the other lift company, I sought an independent view from Deltron.
Deltron were quick to visit, diagnose the problem and give us an informative view of remedies and plans going forward.
They were extremely polite and professional and have given me confidence in the plan going forward.
Safe to say- I’m switching to Deltron going forwards on one of their maintenance plans!

What a terrible company this one is all they know is how to collect money from you each month they do not do any service calls that you pay for, it has been 12 months now since anyone has been to service my lift all e-mails sent them are ignored, And just try to get them on the phone it is impossible to get past there AI bot it just tells you to use What's App or e-mail then hangs up on you .
I tried asking for complaints no luck then phoned again and asked for accounts still no luck so phoned again and asked for service and still could not talk to a human so the one last time I phoned and asked for sales after 10 minutes on hold I was eventutley put through to a human.
But unfortunately still have got nowhere she said she would get a manager to phone me back but no that did not happen .
So the outcome is I will be looking for another company to service my lift who is not owned by the Pace Group.
