2 stars because they charge 20% excess. I disagree with this concept, it’s for dental work (no one has fillings that they don’t need). I’ve paid my premium in full, you should pay my claims IN FULL up to the designated maximum amount for the period. I’d have given them 1 star except the service is reasonably quick and the process to claim is fairly straightforward.

I was away from home and in some pain with my teeth. When I used the Denplan emergency number I was reassured that a real effort was being made to get me an appointment with a local dentist. I received kindness, positivity and was given realistic expectations as to when I might see a dentist, which turned out to be the next morning. Everyone I encountered was caring and helpful.

Plan stopped as nil treatment available due cancer, told 21 days notice apply / full debit taken 1st and partial credit to be refunded.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional service I received regarding my recent dental claim.
While I was overseas, I contacted your office to confirm that the emergency dental treatment I required was covered by my supplemental insurance. The representative who assisted me was highly professional, providing a comprehensive and clear explanation of the coverage criteria.
After the treatment was completed, I paid the charges and submitted my claim upon my return to the U.K. I was impressed to receive an email notification of my claim's acceptance and impending payment to my bank account just four days later.
The entire process was executed with a high degree of professionalism and efficiency, and I am very satisfied with the service provided

In terms of customer support they are super helpful and easy to deal with. To find out I can use my normal hygienist through the plan is great.

I telephoned whilst overseas and enquired as to whether the emergency Dental treatment required was covered by supplemental insurance, the response was yes and the criteria for treatment was thoroughly and clearly explained.
The required was undertaken and I paid the charges, on my return to the U.K. I submitted the claim 4 days later I received an email saying the claim had been accepted and that payment was to be made to my bank.
Truly a first class service.

Denplan is a great dental insurance provider and is easy to use. Just check your cover amount when taking out the plan and what you actually get back and see if it is worth it for you.

Denplan are simply amazing. I have been with them for as long as I can remember and they always offer a first class service. My dental claims are paid in less than a week and are so easy to submit on the online portal. Denplan has been an absolute godsend to me.
