I had decided on a TAG Formula1 watch as a treat for myself and trawled the internet for the best deal. I chose DPW and the 'purchase experience' was really good. I had an email from them shortly after ordering asking if I wanted them to resize the watch and the watch itself arrived within a couple of days. My first issue came when I looked at the TAG guarantee card which said it was only valid if signed by an authorised dealer. This began to ring alarm bells that the watch might not be genuine. I contacted DPW and received a prompt reply saying that their watches are 100% authentic and that if I wanted piece of mind, I could register my watch on the TAG website. I was also reminded that DPW provide their own 5 year guarantee. I then rang TAG customer services and asked if they could check if my watch was genuine. I mentioned what DPW had suggested about registering on their site but the guy said that there's no point because all it will tell me is that there is a watch (or watches) with that serial number somewhere in the world. Next I decided to take the watch to a local jeweller who specialise in luxury watches (something that DPW even suggest on their website). They were able to tell me that a watch with my serial number was registered for it's guarantee 2 years ago - so at best this watch was not brand new (although it was sold and presented as new) or it was not genuine (their words not mine). They even allowed me to take a screen shot of the TAG system that they use which showed this information. I then contacted DPW and shared the screenshot. In fairness to them, they replied quickly and sent me a returns label. They did make a point of directing me to the description of this watch where it said there was an "activated running TAG waranty". Why would a brand new watch have an activated warranty?! Somewhere in the world, there is a genuine watch with the same serial number as the one I was sent - but mine was not it. They acknowledged the return and although it took a couple of weeks for them to process the return, the money is back in my bank account. Now I must stress that this is only MY experience and I'm not saying that all of their watches are fake so you must make up your own mind. If you're spending £1200 on a watch, I think it's worth paying a little more to get it from an authorised dealer. I used a cashback site and paid £1700 in the end for peace of mind. I decided to leave a review on the review site that they display on their website but (surprise surprise) you can't actually leave a review so I've no idea where those previous reviews came from. Buyer beware!

Genuinely so happy I've purchased off these guys a number of times and they're great, awesome communication and there range of products are the best.

Scammers rather than family owned business

I would strongly advise against purchasing from Designer Posh Watches. My experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

I ordered a watch that turned out to be defective and used, with a faulty bracelet clasp that caused it to fall off multiple times. I returned the item promptly, as instructed, and the return was confirmed as delivered. Despite this, the company has failed to process my refund.

They offered to send a replacement, which I declined because I no longer trust their products. Unfortunately, communication with them has been poor, and they have stopped responding altogether.

I have now escalated this issue to PayPal , as it became clear that dealing directly with this company would not resolve the matter. They have taken my money, sent me a defective, used item, and refused to provide a refund.

This experience has been deeply frustrating, and I strongly urge others to avoid this seller.

Bought a watch for my boyfriends birthday which was an amazing price for the make and model.
Had a few issues with the strap a few months later and straight away Claire and Alex were able to rectify and fix this asap. Great customer service and quality products! So happy with them.

The watch I ordered was a very blingy Michael Kors watch and it’s common knowledge that blingy watches can loose gems.

I went to wrap this watch as it was a gift… on Christmas Eve eve!!! Only to find some gems missing. I filled out a customer form on the website with little expectation of being able to get this sorted in time for Christmas.

To my disbelief I had a call at around 9:30am the following day to resolve this. I emailed images, got a return slip, posted the watch back and they actually posted another to me the same day for next day delivery!!!

It really is the little things in life. Thank you so much for giving me such a great experience and for making sure I don’t end up in the bad books of the mother in law haha!

I’ve just bought a tag heuer watch for a very good price and even though I had to wait a couple of days longer than expected for delivery, the communication I got throughout the process was brilliant. Over the moon with my purchase.

The watch I purchased was at an excellent price, but after a few weeks wear there was a manufacturer issue with the strap clasp. The customer service team, in particular Claire, couldn’t have been more helpful in getting this resolved with the manufacturer. Always took my calls and responded to emails promptly, with strap now replaced and upgraded. Thoroughly recommend.

Brought a F1 Chronograph TAG Heuer, had an excellent experience with the guys at DPW, Alex was a great help in guiding me to the right watch for me. Amazing watch and great price, would definitely recommend these guys and I would buy again for sure!
