At the end - excellent customer service at resolving the problem.

After serching high and low for a specific watch, I finally stumbled on it at the perfect price point with Designer Posh Watches. I was dubious to begin with... the price seemed too good for a brand new watch, however I was wrong to be dubious. The watch arrived today with speedy delivery and it is PERFECT! Brand new, beautifully presented with the protective covering still on it. It came with all the relevant documentation and I was able to do an authenticity check on it, which proves it is genuine.

Thank you so much, I am beyond thrilled and will be purchasing with Designer Posh Watches again in the near future.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while as I purchased a Ronde Must de Cartier for my partner for Christmas and I received a counterfeit watch.
I ordered the watch on 29th November and after a week of waiting for a ‘dispatched’ email, I contacted them asking the order status and was advised it would be another 6-12 working days, where the website had stated 5, so I had expected to had received it by the time I emailed anyway.
I finally received the watch on 15th December and there was part of me that questioned the authenticity of the watch, at the time mainly due to the box; the pattern didn’t line up and it had a rattle when shaken.
I was due to be in London on the 19th so I had planned to take the watch into Cartier at Selfridges to look at some watch straps and also check the authenticity over.
When I showed the salesperson the watch, she was dubious of the watch and confused as to why nothing came up on the system when the serial number was input into the system.
She then took the watch to be looked over by her manager and brought a genuine watch in the exact same style back with her to show all the points that proved the watch I purchased from DPW wasn’t genuine.
The weight was off, the blue sapphire was a different size, the face looked different, the strap was more angled, the box totally different too. You can imagine my embarrassment and also devastation of finding out I spent £2,500 on a counterfeit watch.
I emailed Alan then and there saying I was in Cartier and that the watch wasn’t genuine, he replied confirming it was ‘100% brand new and authentic’ but I stated I was going to return the watch for a refund, and he accepted that.
I was due to give my partner the gift that night in London for Christmas, so I was gutted that I couldn’t do that moment anymore.
I sent the watch back recorded delivery to DPW and then also THANKFULLY I paid PayPal AND on my credit card, so I was totally covered, and I opened a case on PayPal.
Alex confirmed he received the watch back on 22nd Dec and that a full refund had been executed and he truly apologised for what had happened and he was starting an investigation into this with the supplier, because they must had supplied the watch directly to me.
Even though I can emphasise that Alex never meant to have me receive a non-genuine watch, I still cannot accept that they did not receive the watch into the their store first to check it over, then send this big purchase to me directly knowing it was 100% genuine. If you have a family-run business and want to ensure your integrity is always upheld, surely you would never leave your ‘name’ in the hands of someone else.
It’s such a shame because the reviews here are mostly good, and again, I received the refund straight away, but I still got burned, had the embarrassment of going into Cartier with a fake watch, never got to give my partner his gift on our special London Christmas/gift exchange trip!! Also, then be -£5.5k in December of all months, whilst I had to purchase TWO watches!
If you do decide to purchase a high value designer watch from here, I would certainly get the brand to double check it over for you and make sure you pay on a credit card AND PayPal.

Absolutely amazing customer service,watch was absolutely beautiful and was a great price, delivered fast and well packaged, could not have been more helpful and genuinely cared and valued my custom .If your thinking off buying a nice watch for someone special or for yourself do yourself a favour and go nowhere else , cant fault them in any way absolutely brilliant 👍👍

Brilliant watch, it was a brown leather strap which I really wanted. The dial was nice and chunky! I am well chuffed!

Ordered on Boxing Day knowing they’d be closed, but wanted the watches for Friday, so sent them a quick email just asking when it would be dispatched, they emailed me back within an hour telling me they were going to be dispatched, arrived the next day (today) about 12, amazing service bought 2 watches love them both, all I can say is what a company! Would use again.
