Do not buy from here, they make you write a review at checkout so that's why there's all these positive reviews. We bought a couch for £4,000 in November 2024 and they delivered it in February 2025 but with some mistakes different to what we had ordered, we have had to wait a YEAR & A HALF until August 2026 to get the right couch! It was delivered last week but there's still some flaws with this one as well - we've decided to just accept it as after nearly TWO YEARS of back and forth I'd rather just never deal with this company again

Just purchased a lovely new corner sofa and three seater from Designer Sofa at Middlebrook. What an experience. Beautiful store and very relaxed staff. Kenny gave us little bits of information exactly when we needed it without being over powering. The ability to customise the size and fabric was exactly what we needed! Superb experience!

Pros and cons.

I came into the Abbotsinch store at almost closing time so partly my fault but I was rushed by Mel into signing before I had even seen the fabric colours and samples. I was told the price agreed couldn't be held until the next day so felt pressure to sign.

She did price match the sofa to another I had seen but not holding the price is a high pressure tactic.

Mel suggested I take the fabric samples home to review overnight but I would have liked to have done this before I committed and then found out there wasn't actually an ideal colour match (mocha) available in the fabric I preferred.

Would also have appreciated a visual of what the 3 seater configuration would look like as only the corner was on display but there were no pictures available online or in-store which was odd. Mel did use AI to try and show me which was helpful but without the actual manufacturers images we can't be sure of the accuracy.

Would be handy to have all colour samples, prices and configurations available online so people can look at their leisure. Most sofa shops do this as standard.

I have been reassured by Mel that the factory closing for 3 weeks shouldn't affect my delivery date and if it does, then another sofa would be sent meantime to assist post op recovery.

Mel in Paisley shop was brilliant! Didn’t pester us and gave us all the info we needed to pick the perfect sofa!

We visited the store today at Middlebrook. Aleyha was very helpful and made sure we were shown all options available to us when looking for a fabric for the foot stool we purchased.

Just bought a couple of premium-quality kitchen bar stools from Designer Sofas, Brent Cross. Excellent service from Chris. He was very knowledgeable and patient, answering all the questions we asked. Very impressed and highly recommended.

My sales person Lauren from Edinburgh was amazing, very friendly, easy to talk to and helpful. She explained everything in detail and made sure we understood everything. The sofas were of amazing quality and definitely value for money.
