I attended a meeting with Jade to set up a pre-paid funeral plan for my mum. She was very knowledgable and treated me with kindness and compassion. She answered all of my questions and guided me through the process. It has given me peace of mind to know that the arrangements are in place and the costs taken care of.

I have been planning to do a prepayment plan for some time. I decided to go to D B Devall as I worked for them for over 20 years and we are family.

Attention to detail for all the arrangements for mums funeral was excellent, all done with dignity, compassion and professionalism.

We decided to pay now for our funerals ( which we hope are many years away ) and we were offered an appointment to get this arranged.
We were welcomed in to a lovely room and then talked through what we had decided was the best option for us. Things were explained very clearly and any questions we asked we answered to put our minds at ease. An hour later we are on our way home, peace of mind for us and the family now our arrangements are in place. Thank you to Devalls for your information and welcome on the day.

Jade Whitmore who sorted out the funeral plan for us was very helpful and had everything sorted out for us when we arrived. The plan was very detailed and set out in order with every detail that we had asked for.

Losing my brother James Brindley so suddenly was so heartbreaking for the family and lisa.He had no funeral plan just bury me in the garden was his mantra. Anyway i kinda planned the funeral he would of liked.Jonathan was very professional despite our bizarre requests. I will be using their services when my time comes.

Just to say how professional the staff at Devalls were and very helpful and understanding. To be able to sort your own funeral out is quite an experience made easier by their staff. The feeling I have by arranging this and the fact that I can now leave it in their capable hands is quite a relief.

I went to Devalls because they have done many of our family funerals, we wouldn't go anywhere else, they are professional & friendly.
The member of staff who dealt with my request was Jade, she was very friendly and approachable plus very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her.
She fitted in with my work timetable, when telephoning me, and the next day an e.mail would arrive with details of what we had spoke about.
We arranged many telephone calls & she always phoned on time.
She was so efficient, understanding & very compassionate.
She carefully went through all the different opinions, making sure I understood, but also listened to what I wanted in this package.
She never made me feel I was wasting her time, when I changed my mind on the certain things.
I can't speak any more highly of the service I received & especially the member of staff.

Although death is inevitable we don’t tend to think about it but we should always plan for it.
Unfortunately I lost my husband during the Covid pandemic and had to very quickly think about it. This was very difficult as we hadn’t discussed what either of us would want. This experience prompted me to take out a plan and make sure not only that I’d have the service I’d want but to take that stress away from my children and I would urge everyone else to do this also.

Devall&Son are an amazing family run company.They make their services fit your budget. We have used Devall & Son for all our family funerals, we have never been disappointed. The staff there are amazing.
We have used the pre payment plan too. Our children are under strict instructions they MUST use Devall's when its our time.
