Just had a new door and window fitted to the back of our garage. The whole process from start to finish has been very smooth. We had good advice, a good price and the fitting was carried out quickly and efficiently. Thank you Direct Window Co.

Just had two bay windows fitted and one small bedroom window .The whole experience from start to finnish was excellent. I can't praise the two men that fit my windows enough. The quality of the widows and workmanship was amazing.

I’ve used Direct Window Co previously and given that I have very high standards this company never fails to disappoint. I asked Direct Window for a quote for a replacement back door and window at my Mum’s house, my Mum lives alone and at first I was hesitant to get the work completed on her behalf, needless to say the whole process was stress free the fitters Garry and Stuart were very professional and reassured my Mother on the day. The finished installation looks amazing and I’m astounded by the finished quality, in a world full of choice and options I genuinely believe you get what you pay for. We have been promised time and time again that our faulty windows would be replaced. Sarah from Customer service rang us to reassure us that our replacement windows had been checked over personally by her, after 5 failed visits with incorrect windows. We received a phone call at 4.15 pm on the day of our appointment from the fitter, who seemingly drove past our house and went back to the factory to pick the windows up, but said when he arrived, they had been damaged and were now labelled as failing quality control. We asked for the manager Gary, to ring us to explain what is going on, but he failed to return our call today. 6 days of our holidays have been wasted so far waiting in for the correct replacements to be fitted, spanning 2 whole years. What absolutely dreadful customer service. The obligatory message from DWC will no doubt be posted asking us to contact them, but they just fob you off with lame excuses. We won't be contacting you and will look forward to your call. Shame on you DWC.

We’ve just had a composite back door (Contract 020231) fitted by these people and the service and product has been first class! From Tom in the Preston salesroom to Paul the fitter, all has gone so well. And at a price others couldn’t match. Well done!

Another sterling job done by the A team at Direct Windows. It’s the second job they’ve done for me as part of my extensive house renovations. It couldn’t be easier to work with them. From start to finish the whole process was easy and efficiently carried out by direct Windows order no 68870.
We ordered the new front door, and within a couple of days, a man came to measure. and a few days later Wes came and fitted it. All went extremely well and we are really pleased with the result.

Fitters very professional

I placed an order for some work on my conservatory and was asked when I would like the work completing. I requested the end of January. Despite this I wasn’t too concerned even though I hadn’t heard anything back by March. A date was finally arranged and I was advised it would take 1 day. I took a day off work to be at home but the work was cancelled due to hold ups on other jobs due to the weather , so it would be rearranged for the following week, but would now take two days. Fair enough.
Fitter arrived and he was very pleasant - however it wasn’t too long before I was advised that all the materials hadn’t arrived on site and one of my new windows had to be re-made as it had been manufactured incorrectly. The work eventually spanned 2 weeks due to a daily occurrence of materials not being available/ordered incorrectly. On completion, the work was generally of a good standard, although the newly installed windows hadn’t been cleaned and loads of materials had been left on site. Despite 2 e-mails to the customer care team, I’m still waiting for them to be collected from my garden two weeks after the event. Throughout the time the work was ongoing I had no contact from Direct Windows to apologise at any time for the delays, but they did contact me to make payment very quickly after completion. When I explained I would gladly pay when the materials were collected and a minor defect resolved that I had already e-mailed about, I was told they would be collected next day. I advised I have a 3 year old daughter and that it was unsafe for her but I’m still waiting, despite following up with a second e-mail. Inevitably, despite best efforts of trying to keep my daughter away from the mess they left on site, she tripped up over the pvc cladding when running blindly round the corner into where they had left it piled up. No serious injuries thankfully just a bruised knee and a few tears but so far the customer service has been appalling, so I wouldn’t recommend.

If it was possible to give 1 star I would. DO NOT USE unless you want shocking customer service and waste your time waiting in for workmen who don't turn up. We moved into our property on 15th December and still waiting for the issue with bi fold door to be solved. Left several messages , none of them returned. Got told " he's not in today, he's at lunch, he will ring you back etc. etc"
How they continue to trade is beyond me !
