DLG Auto Services is Direct Line Group’s UK network of bodyshops, today consisting of 23 garages nationwide which makes us one of the largest repair groups in the UK. We repair around 100,000 accident damaged cars every year, and all cars are repaired to British Kitemark BS 10125 standard, the British safety standard for vehicle damage repair. All repair work comes with a 5-year guarantee, and we are committed to ensuring we meet the manufacturers repair standards to ensure our customers vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. By investing in new technologies, we are preparing the business for the future and will have a better understanding of how technology will affect the design and manufacture of cars. Our high operating efficiency allows us to deliver excellent cost control whilst meeting our environmental targets through lowering emissions and increased recycling. I was very impressed with the service

I was very impressed with the service i received when my car was with DLG Autos.
Neil the engineer kept me up to date and went above and beyond to find the part which was causing a problem to obtain. Also i would like to mention a lady who was on reception when i went to get my wife's mobility scooter out of the car who helped me they are both a credit to DLG Autos.

I had a very bad experience with DLG

I had a very bad experience with DLG , my car was repaired in their garage and as it seems they’ve used a poor (cheap) quality parts because since the repair the parts they used are giving up every few months!

First Class Service

I was directed to DLGAutoServ by my insurance company. I filled out the relevant online form on Saturday 14 February, my car was collected on Monday 16th and was returned to me repaired on 19th. Apart from a first class job of repairing the damage, the car had been cleaned outside and valeted on the inside. All the people I spoke to at DLG were polite and helpful. I really hope I don't need to use their services again, but I'd have no hesitation in doing so.

They did an excellent job repairing the…

They did an excellent job repairing the bumper and wing of our Honda Jazz. The car was also collected, cleaned and returned.

Throughout the repair process

Throughout the repair process, the DLG were very professional. From the the initial inspection of the damage, collecting the car, repair and returning my car. I was kept in touch an updated throughout, and the dates they gave me were met. All staff I spoke or met were very good and easy to speak with.

DLG feedback

All handled well, and repairs good. Though I did have some paint overspray or flecks inside of the car on seat covers. A valet of the car would have helped and push rating up.

Car delivered with scratches that was not there before.

As part of the repairs a new Bumper was fitted to the rear. When DLG Auto did the QA on the fitting of the bumper, they were not happy and therefore did not released the vehicle. This honesty was great to see but added time for them to find a new bumper. Car was returned with New Bumper but there were scratches to the side panel, to which the bumper attaches, that was not there when I handed the car to DLG Auto. I advised the person who dropped the car and took photos. I also showed him the photos I took and send to them prior to collection of the vehicle for repairs and the scratches were not there. DLG never came back to me on the issue and therefore the 3 Star. Should be a 2-star but based on their transparency during the rest of the repair I gave them 3 stars.

Repair

Car was damaged badly, job took a bit longer than expected due to issues beyond their control. Communication was excellent throughout car came back looking like new. Great service and work.
