DM Executive Travel made getting around Scotland completely seamless. We covered a lot of ground — Glasgow, Royal Troon, Turnberry, St Andrews, Aberdeen, Royal Dornoch, and several Speyside distilleries — and every transfer was on time and perfectly coordinated. Every vehicle was a Mercedes Sprinter van, which made the ride comfortable and spacious with snack, beverages, and chargers for us. A special shoutout to our driver John who took us a to an incredible castle on our way to Aberdeen and also Buzz, who spent time with us through Speyside and got us to Royal Dornoch — he was wonderful, showed us his hometown and made those long stretches in the van some of the most enjoyable parts of the trip and even shared some of his favorite Scotch with us. We also had to change our itinerary last minute to add a stop in Edinburgh, and Daniel accommodated the request without any hassle. He was fantastic to work with throughout: responsive, professional, and clearly went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and would use them again without hesitation for any future trips to Scotland.

An exceptional day! Our guide/driver was a joy. My only regret was not booking a second day.

Buzz was an amazing driver and guide. He shared many stories of the region and got us to each of our appointments on time. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We highly recommend Buzz for our distillery tours in Speyside.

DM Executive Travel delivered a tour so incredible, that it can only be described as legendary. Daniel is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and he truly listens to you as he builds and coordinates your tour. He organized the most amazing and detailed 14 day tour that you can imagine. The DM Executive price was way better than the other 6 companies I contacted, to include the large companies that pop up when you Google, and I was also able to create a tour that fit what we wanted to do. It was 3 of us and we're from the States.

We did a whisky tour, in June 2025, all over Scotland; that included tours and tastings at 22...that's right....22 whisky distilleries, and 3 whisky shops. From the Lowlands, to Speyside, to the Highlands and then to Islay. The whisky tours and tastings were beyond incredible; and we had impeccable accommodations for the entire tour.

Andy was our guide, and I cannot say enough great things about him. Not only did he take care of us as he drove ALL over Scotland; Andy's knowledge of Scotland is second to none. He is professional, friendly, courteous, very sociable, intelligent and just an overall amazing person. Andy coordinated an unforgettable tour of Achnacarry Castle for us, in which we learned about the Marine Commando training for the Allied Forces during WWII. Then we visited the Commando Memorial, and took a moment to give thanks and appreciation for all the sacrifices of the service members and their families.

We also met Buzz, who's another member of the DM Executive team. Buzz is an absolute joy to be around.

So whether you're planning a whisky or golf tour, I HIGHLY recommend DM Executive Travel. We're already looking forward to our next whisky excursion with them.

4-Day Curated Trip to Speyside

From April 25th to 28th this year, we enjoyed four unforgettable days in Speyside.

Daniel had crafted the perfect itinerary based on our preferences, including highlights such as: a tour of Speyside Cooperage, a full tour and tasting at Balvenie, Tomintoul tour and tasting, a tasting at Benromach, GlenAllachie tasting, Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseur Tasting, a lounge tasting at Glenlivet, a tasting at The Cairn Distillery, Tomatin warehouse tasting, a full tour and tasting at Glen Grant, and a bar tasting at Glendronach Distillery.

We were fortunate to have Buzz as our driver. With 35 years of experience in the whisky industry, he seemed to know everyone and brought incredible insight and charm to the journey — the perfect guide.

A heartfelt thank you to Daniel and Buzz for an exceptional Speyside experience!

It was a great day at the Speyside Whisky Festival. A surprising experience nearly perfect.

Daniel picked us up at 09.30 as planned, and our first stop at Gordon McPhails had us drinking 26 year old Glen Burgie, this was followed by a 16 year old Linkwood and then a 53 year old Glen Grant was poured, this was heaven in a glass.
The day got better with a couple of drams at Craigellachie Bridge with his co driver Buzz keeping us entertained with his memories(All in a bag) 🤣
We went to Highlander for lunch and on to Macallan for another tasting.
It was followed on by a visit to the Dram Queen who gave us some more exceptional drams and everyone on the tour had a fantastic day, Daniel is a host amongst hosts and I cannot wait until next year for another day out.
I did manage my work the next day with no sore heads, applauded Daniel and Buzz for looking after us on Monday 👌👌👌👌👌

Our pre-booking and experience was perfect! Daniel was very helpful and available, our driver Andy was a great asset to our trip. The vehicle was updated and well kept. I have absolutely no complaints. What could they have done better? I am (unusually) speechless!

I wanted to first thank Daniel for all the attention and concern prior to the scheduling and actual hiring, on understanding the timing, expectations and objectives with the trip!

Also, my main compliment is regarding our driver and guide, Buzz! He was such an amazing person with us throughout the day!
So thoughtful, attentive and made all his best efforts to ensure we were having a great day! We had high expectations for our distillery experience in Speyside, but he made sure they were all surpassed!

Finally, the car and structure were amazing, we really did not have any sort of issue or demand that was not met!

If we ever return or have a friend making the same tour, we will be sure to direct them to DM Executive Travel!
