I’ve been a subscriber on the International Roaster subscription for quite a few months now, and what an amazing experience it has been! The team at Dog & Hat are really great at finding exciting roasters everywhere. All boxes come with a little booklet full of information about these different roasters which is a great addition too. Although the coffee comes from far away it’s always very freshly roasted. I’m honestly amazed I’ve enjoyed 100% of the coffee they’ve offered on this subscription. I can even easily order some extra bags if there’s a coffee I really loved. I’ve also on a couple of occasions exchanged emails with Su and Elle who have always been very fast to respond and nice to deal with. Highly recommended if you want to discover a wide variety of roasters and their coffees.

So happy I found Dog & hat almost by coincidence. The service is fantastic, personable and efficient. The coffee is absolutely amazing, we’ve found so many favourites over the last 2 years. It’s a treat every month the subscription box arrives. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Been with the subscription service since they started. Excellent quality and customer service, trying different roasters with no hassle!

I bought a set of Timemore coffee scales which I had to return after a few months due to a fault. The service from D&H was great. Simple returns process and the new scales arrived promptly.

Top notch service even though I had to return the water filter due to incompatibilities.

I’ve subscribed to Dog and Hat for a while now and never cease to be impressed by the service they provide. Each month I eagerly await the arrival of my delivery, always brilliantly packaged and containing an amazing selection of delicious coffee beans, from different Roasters from across the UK, Europe or sometimes even further afield. Each month you also receive a very informative booklet, which tells you all about the coffees in that month’s subscription.
I’ve experienced some amazing coffees, thanks to Dog and Hat and can’t recommend them highly enough!

I've been a subscriber with Dog&Hat since they started. They're a super helpful company if you have questions or anything comes up they respond quickly and helpfully. Most important the coffee subscription is great value for an ever changing line up of coffee roasters. They include helpful extra info on what grind size you might try each coffee and interesting interviews etc. Every month.

Reasons to try Dog & Hat:
1) Variety...you'll never get bored. There's plenty of good coffee around from plenty of other subs but no-one offers such variety. You'll never get bored.
2) Customer care...I'm fed up with the depressing, hook 'em in, then treat them contempt attitude of so much modern customer care. This is an exception. A responsive, flexible, make 'em happy culture, delivered in a friendly way. It must be hard work but it makes D&H stand out. The ability to dip out when away is much appreciated.
3) Price...given D&H handles others' coffee, they manage to do so without the quality or price reflecting it.

What a joy to deal with such a great company who obviously care about their customers and the experience they have. I bought some scales which unfortunately had a fault and getting a replacement set was so easy from Dog and Hat. The new set arrived the day after I reported the fault beautifully packaged with a hand written card, couldn't be better. So glad I chose to buy from here rather than a faceless online company, I'm sure I would still be waiting for the replacement scales after a load of hassle returning the faulty ones. Well done Dog and Hat and many thanks again 👍.

Wonderful selection of coffees each month. Outstanding service and commitment to customers. We had a delivery running weeks late, probably caused by royal mails pre-christmas mayhem and Su sent a next day delivery coffee rescue package asap.

The subscription they offer is pretty much perfect for me. I like variety in my coffee, and you get several (2-4 depending on your subscription) bags of freshly roasted coffee from different roasters at once each month. This allows me to do a cupping, and vary the coffee I have every day.

The coffee has consistently been high quality and interesting.

Customer service has been great too: I ordered the wrong thing once because I failed at reading comprehension, and they responded super quickly and were incredibly helpful sorting things out.

Ordered some coffee scales directly from their website, delivery was fast, well packaged and I was surprised to also receive some complimentary coffee beans which tasted great!

Having used Dog and Hat for the last couple of years , i can say that I am very impressed . Their choice of coffee is always amazing . Their dedication for providing great tasting coffee from all over the world is unbeatable. Have not had a bad cup of coffee yet !!

This is a great subscription service from a highly committed family business. Great customer service, interesting high quality coffee from ethical roasters, quick delivery so it arrives fresh. Pricing is fair. Highly recommended!

Most importantly, the coffee is consistently great.

I also find the booklet that comes with each delivery interesting and useful. I appreciate the eco friendly ethic of the sub and the Facebook group has a great community.

What a find, especially now we are brewing so much at home! We have yet to come across a roast we don't love. And the customer service is as reliably excellent as the coffee.

I can highly recommend dog and hat as both an excellent coffee subscription and a wonderful, personable business.
The hard work that goes into selecting coffees is easy to taste month by month with a host of outstanding coffees. The subscription box is full of personality with its booklet giving a run down of the coffees, roasters and brewing recipes, and look out for the little treats at the special times of year.
If your in two minds I would say go for it, the subscription os easy to change and hassle free.

I bought a 3 month subscription from Dog & Hat for my partner as a birthday present and I honestly can't recommend them enough. I was fashionably late in ordering the coffee and so I emailed Su to let her know that I was a terrible girlfriend and that I was worried about when the coffee would arrive. She replied within MINUTES to say that she'd make sure it was sent off first class the very next morning to ensure that it arrived in time - sure enough it even beat my amazon parcels! It looked fantastic in the box and I was absolutely delighted when my partner opened it and they'd even thrown in some fancy chocolate for him as a little birthday treat! The coffee tastes delicious and it was surprisingly interesting to read all about it over the first pot. I can't wait for my next box and I'm already thinking about buying my next subscription! Thanks guys!
