First class product and service. The unit has been excellent for 6 years in daily home use. It recently developed an issue through wear on one of the parts, and support was immediate, on point, and supplied the replacement part for minimal cost very quickly. It was easy to replace too - top marks: this is a machine which can be maintained for life.

I reached out to Niche to refresh some internal wear parts on my 7-year-old original Niche Zero. James from the support team was incredibly responsive. He quickly diagnosed my issues and invoiced me for the specific replacement components I needed.
The parts arrived quickly and were priced incredibly fairly—the small parts packet (£1.20) was exceptionally generous, containing a complete set of fresh springs, an anti-popcorn disc, bearings, and carriers. Swapping the top casting and sweeper arm has completely eliminated my dial slipping and restored the grinder to a perfect, firm factory baseline. It is rare to see a company offer this level of low-cost, accessible self-repair support for a machine out of warranty. Fantastic service.

This Niche Grinder is both a beautifully designed (Steve Jobs would love it!), and perhaps the quietest gender out there! I've had mine for more than a year and I'm very happy with it. Once while cleaning it, I held it upside down over the sink to shake out some coffee grinds. (Cleaning is Very easy, bout every two months for us, and doesn't include the upside down move). Inadvertently and unseen by me, this caused one of the tiny springs to fall out, into the sink. I noticed this when I ran the disposal, unfortunately for me and the spring. I wrote the company so as to buy a new spring, or tell me the size so I could find it. The next day a pleasant email arrived, which told me to look inside the wooden base, and I would find an ENTIRE REPLACEMENT SPRING SET!
Amazing! In this plastic internet world, another rare company to love! These guys are good!

Had my Niche a few years now and it’s been great. Last week it started stuttering and then stopped altogether. Took it apart and took some pictures and reached out to support. James was very helpful and just a couple days later I fitted a new motor and it’s back to running perfectly again.

I have a new (to me) Niche Zero that arrived with a broken on/off switch. The Niche team was quick to reply and had an invoice for the replacement part I needed along with instructions. Everything I read online about the company holds true, both the product and backend customer service are awesome.

I contacted Niche on Saturday 09 May by email regarding a possible issue with the motor assembly in my Niche Duo which was purchased July 2023.

James responded almost immediately with possible solutions, a PDF explaining how to inspect the motor assembly and also link to buy a new motor assembly which was amazingly inexpensive to be honest anyway I ordered the motor assembly right away and it was delivered today the 13th May.

I duly replaced the motor assembly it which is fairly easy if you follow the PDF instructions and my grinder is back to working perfectly again.

Simply the best in every way. For the price point, this is the best grinder I have used and love it. The customer support is fast and fantastic.

Motor died after 5 years of heavy use, but the service was great and the replacment part cheap and arived quickly.

Superb coffee grinder with great style and has worked faultlessly. I have had the machine for 7 years, it suddenly stopped working. I contacted Niche customer service who responded immediately and got me to a few basic checks before advising on parts I required. Within a few days for a very reasonable cost I had a new motor/gearbox and a control panel, it is designed to be easy to maintain and is back to performing faultlessly. Highly Recommended as these are not cheap machines on initial purchase so it is nice to think in this day and age it will not quickly become landfill. The only other appliance I have like this is our trusty dualit toaster which has is 27 years old and has the same philosophy of each component fixes to keep running. Highly recommend

I have the very first generation of Niche coffee grinders, and mine is still going strong 8 years later! A pleasure to use, and a terrific design that gives a friendly, not-just-another-black-box-or-cylinder vibe. It's got character *and* grinding chops. I'm a V60 guy--and my Niche continues to outlast every other part of my kit.

Iv had my Niche Zero for 5 years, it get used daily. Sadly it died on me last week. I went to email them and had an reply straight away. I managed to clean the motor as instructed but no luck. They give me a link to buy the motor and which it was very reasonable price. I managed to fix it in 10 minutes it was very easy. Couldn't be happier with the service. 5*

I bought the Niche Zero grinder from a friend of mine, and unfortunately the motor started having problems a year after I bought it. Customer service helped me identify the cause through quick and clear email correspondence: the motor needed replacing. They sent me a link to a shop where I could order it, and a week later the motor arrived (the product had to be shipped from England to the Netherlands). Once installed, the product is working perfectly again. Many thanks to Niche customer service for their excellent help.

The motor in my 5-year old Niche started malfunctioning. I got a very prompt reply, given very easy to follow on how to inspect and clean the insides of the grinder, and when that didn't help I got a replacement motor for a very reasonable price. All in a span of a couple of days.

I purchased a Niche Zero in late 2025, and while I recently encountered an issue with the grind adjustment, the customer service was nothing short of exceptional. Support responded immediately, and after a brief troubleshooting exchange, they shipped a replacement part free of charge - which arrived just three days later. Thanks to the clear instructions provided, the repair took only 20 minutes. Truly S-Tier support for a grinder that is, quite simply, a pleasure to use.

Brilliant single dose grinder, with zero retention.
Time to upgrade to the other burr set as cold brew season is coming.
