We bought our Kahrs flooring from Hamilton when our flooring company let us down. Not only did they step in to help they also gave us some very constructive feedback when I sent a picture of the initial lay by our company which was beyond the call of service ☺️ Jordan was super helpful and saved us from a installation error by our own appointed company! Thank you very much.

Our new engineered oak flooring was installed recently and we are very pleased with the finished result. Danny and Callum were both very professional, hardworking and personable and meticulous in their attention to detail. In fact, they are a credit to Hamiltons and the service provided by the company. We would not hesitate to recommend Hamiltons to others.

First visit with Hamilton’s, I was met with enthusiasm and passion for their products.
Survey produced Honesty and good advice, product knowledge is exceptional.
I selected Kahrs Grano London oiled for flooring throughout the house.
Kitchen and Bathroom was Kahrs XXL Kilimanjaro. House is transformed.
I meet a lot of tradesmen, I would challenge anybody to beat the fitting service.
Neat, tidy, A1 finish, delighted. Worth the extra spend.

The start to finish dealings with Hamiltons’s Flooring was fantastic. Having built a house with thousands of products I can honestly say that dealing with Jordan was a pleasure. They provided samples quickly, responded to emails very promptly and provided prices and service that was some of the best we had had in the whole build process. Jordan is knowledgeable and was a real help after we had to replace all the flooring in the house due to a faulty product from another company. The Kahrs tiles look amazing. Big thank you.

I dealt with a lady called Briony who was really helpful, extremely efficient and patient; and she did not mind making amendments to my order. I would definitely recommend Hamilton Doors and Floors.

7th June - ordered over £1400 of doors, varying sizes but all from same manufacturer. Paid via card. Payment accepted. 2 hours later, i get told that the doors are all out of stock & can refund or wait until END OF JULY. So I ask for a refund only to be told it will take 10 days. Why would you allow me to proceed past payment for you to then only check the stock status.
you either need to change the website to allow for live stock or only take payment AFTER the stock levels are checked.
Why should I now have to delay the joiner because I can now not get my doors ordered in time because I have to wait 10 days for refund.
NEVER shop here again

Ordered Kahrs Imperial Oak Barley from Jordan at Hamiltons. He's very knowledgeable and the process couldn't have gone more smoothly. Also, their price for Kahrs was the cheapest I could find on the internet, otherwise the cost would have been prohibitive for me.
Regarding the wood itself, it is absolutely stunning, and we couldn't be more pleased with it. It's gives a beautiful, warm glow but not too intense either. Really fabulous! Thank you, Hamiltons.

I paid over £400 for flooring with a 15 year guarantee. It was laid on on a floor that had a newly laid self leveller put down . It was fitted by a professional fitter. Less than a year later the floor started to crack. I contacted Hamilton’s and was asked for photos. Then asked a series of questions. Then asked if an independent inspector could come out. He said my sub floor was excellent and the floor was flat. After numerous photos having been sent showing gaps around the floor, in doorways more spirit levels on the floor showing it flat. They say the floor is damaged because the floor is uneven.!! There report shows it’s flat. I have asked for a refund but have been ignored.

We chose Kahrs Domani Oak Bronze - which we are really happy with - the wood is beautifully aged and has a lovely warmth, particularly in the evening.

Fitters were excellent, clearly enjoyed their work and were attentive to detail, involving us in any decisions or choices which were required.

Great service from Hamilton's, saw the wooden flooring I wanted in a local shop but price was out of my budget. Hamiltons were the only online company I found stocking the same flooring, and at a much cheaper cost. James was very helpful and sent me some free samples of other flooring from the same company to help me choose, and then gave good advice on underlay, and when to lay the floor on new screed. Flooring was delivered promptly and when I had several packs over,Briony helped me to find a company to courier the packs back to Hamilton's and issue me with a refund.

Not overly impressed with Hamiltons - I ordered 3 doors and door furniture from the company, and it wasn't until after I paid that I was advised some iterms were actually out of stock until the end of May. That's not my main issue, as things are tough in the world at the moment and and there are short supplies of various goods in the building trade (although it would have been nice to have something on the website stating that iterms weren't in stock !).

My main issue is that shortly after payment I received this email from Hamiltons "... there will be another delivery charge of £48.00 INC VAT. This is because the doors come directly from the suppliers to yourself and you have ordered from three different manufacturers and we cannot absorb all of the delivery costs". This is ridiculous - there is nothing on the company website to say there would be extra shipping on top of the £48 I'd already paid to have the goods delivered. As far as I'm concerened I ordered the doors from Hamiltons, not their suppliers. Why should the customer be expected to "absorb" these costs?

Following the installation of a wooden floor, one of the thresholds became loose and sprung up slightly at one end. The fitters from Hamiltons returned and re-fixed the offending threshold. They were professional, friendly and it was a pleasure to have them come to resolve the issue.
I am more than happy with the service provided by Hamiltons and highly recommend them.

The company were an unknown to me. A local carpenter/joiner recommended them as he couldn't take on the work which was to replace six internal doors with cottage style latch doors in oak.
Turned out to be a great decision. The colour combo, quality of both the doors and the work to hang them is superb. Unsettled us , in a good way, so much we decided to get them all done! Return visit in March.
Don't expect everything to be cheap however but in my experience if you want a quality item that will last you have to pay for it (just as an aside the guy I approached to make the doors for us in the first instance did say he couldn't do it for the same price to my spec).
Go check the showroom out in Sprowston and talk to the guys there. We were very happy with the customer service.

Excellent service. Ordered Elka Golden Oak wood flooring from Craig and the team and the whole process was very easy. Got a great price, very responsive communication and even the delivery driver went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend Hamiltons.

I was in the middle of a major refurbishment of my entire one bedroom flat. Everything depended on getting the floor down first so we could continue with woodwork, doors, and second fix. I had purchased an engineered oak floor from another supplier who shall remain nameless. When my floor installer came to fit it we found out they had sent the wrong floor - a completely different one. When I asked how long it would take to send the right flooring they told me there would be a three month delay.

So I shopped around for a floor that was in stock and available for immediate delivery. I found doorsandfloors.co.uk who were very helpful. I chose a floor and it was delivered in three days. The floor is now fully laid and is to an exceptional standard. It cost marginally more than the first floor I ordered, but is at least double the quality. The service shown throughout has been exceptional - rapid, responsive and helpful.

The only reasons for four stars instead of a perfect five are the attention to detail of the warehouse when supplying the matching edge mouldings, and the high price of shipping any restocking items. Having mentioned the restocking that was all good, returns accepted and payment made promptly. It would just be nice to have a better, easier way of making any returns.

Overall would definitely use again and I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result.

Poor quality flooring. Marks very easily unlike my other engineered wood floors in my home. Was mislead by agent Bryoni who said was a very robust and durable floor, it certainly isn’t. They even sent pictures of different floors to justify how they sell a lot of it and it does look better as it scratches and dents! They also said I should learn to enjoy the flaws and any damages done and appreciate it! patronising or what! Also, the calculator to measure how much flooring is required in the website is not accurate, ended up having 3 extra boxes than needed and they said builder was at fault and measured incorrectly! They said I would need to send back 3 boxes at my own expense which is a lot of money as 30kilo worth of stock. Not good service at all. No empathy or willingness to help.

9 Ledge and brace doors purchased for £1300
One Door I rejected on delivery as it had three cracks in a line, in the centre panel at eye level. A large crack in particular on a knot.
I have been charged £62 for delivery of a replacement.
Apparently the reject door was ok according to Hamilton’s because “daylight cannot be seen through the crack”.
I’m told by their representative that a crack in the door is rustic. Photos were sent to them but ignored.
I have quoted consumer rights to Hamilton’s which have been ignored so far. This is the problem of purchasing from a company online where they can dismiss any complaint.
Service and product very good on the whole but would you accept one door out of nine being cracked?
It would have always been a talking point for visitors as they asked “why did you accept a broken door?”
Answer,
“Because the supplier told me that a cracked door is Rustic”.
The other doors are exactly what I wanted. It’s a pity that my request for a replacement has been met with an extra delivery charge or I would have given a 5 star rating.
I will continue with my claim.

Excellent company to deal with, fast efficient service. Good quality Engineered Oak floor delivered promptly, 2 boards slightly damaged out of 27sq meters. Spoke to Craig at Hamiltons and explained the problem, replacement boards issued within 48hrs. Would recommend very highly. Steve, South London.
