Delivery company that does not deliver

I lost 400€.
I bought an item that was 400€ lower than next cheapest on the market. The shop did not have phone number delivery field. DPD had my full and correct address, yet never attempted to deliver. Their various tracking sites showed conflicting statuses - some in other countries, some in local storage, some showed "failed delivery", yet that never happened. I was home and waiting the entire time. I contacted them WHILE IT WAS IN THE LOCAL STORAGE and they could not fix their failure since "it was already in the system as marked for return". My item got returned, sold out and I was left to lose 400€ buying the item from other stores.

Parcel never arrived.

Courier was 4 stops away, never called, package never arrived. Contacted support, they said package will be delivered in the next days. Never happened, tracking said the parcel was "hold at their premises and waiting for delivery".
Contacted support again, they said the parcel is lost (?). Days later, tracking says the parcel is back in the country where it was shipped from (???), support says it's on the way here but the tracking disappears from my account and I can't see anything about it so I ask them to reactivate it on my account without response from them.
Two days later support replies saying "due to an error, the parcel was sent back to the sender". Nothing else I can do, not a compensation or anything (I won't even believe the parcel is being sent back until it arrives, I think they just lost it entirely).

Tragic

Tragic, said they would deliver it 16-18, they didint, they tried to deliver it at 19:25 but that was way after the disclosed time since we were ordering as a buisness. We choose the next day of delivery-friday and they cancled it because of no aparanet reason and now we have a to wait another week just to get something they promised in 1 day, tragic response

Forced to use buggy app, package lost, no refund for 1.5 month

Very frustrating experience with DPD.

First, you’re forced to download their app just to change basic delivery settings like the address or delivery date. And even then, the app logs you out constantly, so you have to log in over and over again.

Second — and much worse — my package was either lost or stolen. It’s been over 1.5 months and the sender still hasn’t received any refund. DPD has shown no accountability and no real effort to resolve the issue.

Bad experience

First of all I got an email I'll be recieving my package on the 23rd of December and that on the day I'll get a message. Well I got nothing. We called the center they said they'll check and call us back. Still haven't gotten the call back. If you're going to be unable to deliver at least send another email.

Worst nightmare I have ever had in my life! They are not delivery company, they just pretend to be one and slam you all over, impossible to reach them they just ignore you

If you see any company use them just stay away from them or ask for any other courier company as these are the worst one, and even standard post works better that these thieves

Repeated Failures and Poor Communication

I've had issues with DPD three times now. The first time, I arranged to collect a parcel directly from their facility. The representative assured me I'd receive an email confirming I could pick it up "soon." After four days and multiple follow-up calls to ensure everything was in order, they ended up sending the parcel back to the sender, resulting in a complete waste of time and energy.

The second incident was even more frustrating. After the sender re-shipped the returned parcel, I specifically requested that the courier not ring the doorbell, as I have a baby at home. I made this clear to two different representatives, both of whom assured me the courier would call my phone instead. Despite their promises, the courier rang the doorbell directly, ignoring the instructions entirely.

The latest issue involved a locker pickup within the same city. I sent a parcel, but it somehow got lost, which is incredibly frustrating for such a short-distance delivery.

DPD used to provide great service, but these three separate incidents have left me deeply disappointed. I’m now seriously reconsidering using their services in the future.

A message from DPD driver 'Chandpreet'…

A message from DPD driver 'Chandpreet' del at10.50am? THIS WAS FALSE as left 4 doors away and I wasted 2 1/2hrs locating from a photo I didn't recognise. Dispite giving our what3words ///addresss xxxxx.mega.xxxxxx and mentioning make of car parked 2metres away.... spotted unmarked white van prowling area without DPD logo at time. Similar addresses in our area always seem get wrong del. even with clear instruction for driver who obviously doesn't read? Rather save couple of mins himself. DISGUSTING SERVICE UNRELIABLE like Hermes was once. CAR Battery was heavy to carry for 78 yrs OAP

DPD savivalė

Mano gyvenamąją zoną aptarnaujantis DPD kurjeris eilinį kartą savivaliauja ir nevykdo darbo pareigų, pridaro problemų DPD klientams. Detalizuoju: siunta 04511258818650 privalėjo būti pristatoma į namus šiandien 09:46 - 10:46.  Apie tai mane informavo DPD įmonė. Už brangesnį pristatymą į namus yra apmokėta. Specialiai nekūriau kitų planų ir namuose laukiau kurjerio. Kurjeris nei karto neskambino, siuntos neatvežė. Galiausiai siunta be mano sutikimo patalpinta į paštomatą. Tai kartojasi nuolatos. Reikalauju spręsti situaciją.

DPD nevykdo savo pareigų

DPD užmiršta apie siuntas, kurias privalo pristatyti. Užmiršę nieko nedaro, siuntos guli, su gavėju niekas nekontaktuoja. Pvz. siunta 04511252957000 nuo 2023-08-10 tiesiog guli Biruliškėse, niekas su ja nevyksta. Susiskambinus bendruoju DPD numeriu šiandien 15:28 specialistė pochuistiškai šauna tokį sakinį "tam ir yra siuntos sekimo numeris, kad gavėjas sektų siuntą ir kontaktuotų". Taip pat paklausta, ar siunta bent buvo bandoma pristatyti, pasakė, kad kurjeris nei karto nebuvo pasikrovęs siuntos išvežimui. Kodėl nebuvo - priežastis slepiama ir neįvardijama. Klientas yra šūdo vietoje.

There are some ways to improve

Couriers are always nice. But the "call to check if you will be at the address" is often unreasonable. I know you don't want to "waste" time pocking up orders of customers that might not be at the address, but calls that come in at the time of my 7am alarm and calls that last 0.5 second (was holding my phone in my hand but it immediately was dropped even before i got to react to it) and then not picking up any call backs and not communicating with your own customer support that was so nice and tried to help is quite frustrating and unprofessional.

THey just leave. They did it twice and they don't do anything to help or reschedule on the day.

UPS delivede fast easy and with no issue

DPD.lt - truly, unbelievably horrible

Horrible. Been waiting for the parcel for 3 days now, no communication from them whatsoever. Got an email on the expected delivery day saying it won't be delivered due to unforeseen circumstances and that it would be delivered the next working day - which didn't happen. No response to my emails. Website tracker now says parcel could not be delivered due to an incorrect address - which is not true as i know for sure that the address is correct. I needed this parcel urgently - the whole 'delivery' is a joke. Cannot even divert it to a pickup locker, as they haven't sent me an sms code. AVOID LIKE PLAGUE if you can.

DPD was to deliver my parcels on two…

DPD was to deliver my parcels on two seperate occasions, however I didn’t receive them from a courrier. Got messages that the parcel would come in a certain time frame, that didn’t happen. Got a text that told me that it’s going to come on a next day, however I didn’t receive it on that day as well. Had to redirect it to a parcel locker to get it by myself. The process itself is a huge hassle, especially if you ain’t have much free time. I understand that the company is understaffed, however this is simply unacceptable for a worldwide enterprise. Don’t give out false hopes for your clients. Definetely wouldn’t ask for DPD to deliver anything if there would be such choice.
