⚠️ Be aware: no-refund policy is not disclosed before you pay ⚠️
I purchased two items at the Tommy Hilfiger store (Dressup Group) on Rustaveli Avenue, Batumi, paying 1,019 GEL in full. At no point before or during the transaction — not by any sign at the register, not verbally by staff, and not in writing — was I told that either item was subject to a "no refund, exchange only" policy. This restriction only appeared printed on the receipt itself, after payment had already gone through.
The receipt also doesn't show either item as discounted or promotional — no reduced price, no percentage off, no promo code — so there was no way to know, even after the fact, that this restriction would apply.
When I raised this with the company, I was told the no-refund policy is posted at the register and confirmed with Georgia's Consumer Protection Agency. In my experience, at the time and place of my purchase, this policy was not visible or pointed out to me in any way before I paid.
If you're shopping at this store, ask staff directly and in writing whether the item you're buying is final sale before you pay — don't rely on the receipt to tell you afterward.
