He was kind, compassionate, the experience was great. We did a zoom meeting and I was able to get the prescription I needed for myself and my daughter.

This service really is fantastic. I forgot my medication in the UK and they were able to arrange for me to see an online doctor right away and provide the prescription for Greece. I have also previously used the service while in Argentina and for UK needs when unable to see my GP.

Dr. Galen provides the most bespoke, reliable, and professional medical concierge service that guides patients with unique needs to medical specialists who will communicate with the patient with open mindedness and respect for his needs and these specialists will prescribe when necessary the appropriate medicine or treatment plan. I can attest to this successful model, time in and time out. I only use Dr. Galen, I highly recommend it.

I did like the communication and I did appreciate being, somewhat, kept in the loop - however, a full 11 hours did pass after attempting to speak with a progressional - mitigating circumstances were applicable but it isn’t sunshine and rainbows the other side, either!

Eventually got in contact with a doctor for some support, which was helpful and, all grumbling aside, it was on the same day so I can’t complain too much.

This platform helped me find a competent and trustworthy doctor who takes the time to properly understand my needs and arrange appropriate treatment when necessary. The support team are generally good. If you are from the UK and your doctor needs to prescribe you something, ensure you check in advance if they’re happy to do so via a handwritten prescription to post to you or via an electronic prescription system that’s valid in the UK such as Signature Rx, EEA Rx etc as the default prescriptions issued on the Dr Galen platform do not conform to the requirements for a valid UK private prescription. I brought this up a while ago when one of the UK doctors prescribed me a medication on the platform and the pharmacy refused the prescription as it was not valid - both myself and and the pharmacist emailed the platform at Dr Galen but they would not provide me with a fresh consultation or even ask the doctor concerned whether he could issue a paper prescription. I was never refunded etc so I am a little bit unhappy about that. However, all of my other dealings with the platform has been positive and I would recommend them, so long as you’re aware of the prescription issue in the UK. I’m hoping that by leaving this fair and balanced review, that it will compel the platform to look into this. However on a brighter note, I dealt with my usual Dr today and everything was smooth and the platform representative (Annie) was very prompt, helpful and professional.

There was a little back and forth and some confusion around the healthcare procedures in Canada. But once it all got sorted out everything worked out fine.

I was out of town with my adult daughters and my youngest got sick with strep right after we got here. She had been sick for 4 days. I tried another online service but they couldn’t do anything because I was in Michigan. Dr Galen website was amazing. They were able to call in antibiotics to the local pharmacy here in Michigan.
