We recently had a heat pump installed and couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish. A huge thank you to Russell for being so knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to deal with throughout the whole process.

The installer was also fantastic — professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free, and the workmanship was excellent.

I had an old DVS system for nearly 20 years. It was excellent until the fan stopped working - from old age. I got their new system installed and it’s awful. I have to switch it off late in the afternoon in colder weather as it blows cold air into the house, that I am paying to heat! Discussions with the company get nothing but bland words and no acceptance of the problem, I’d like to get a system from another company but as a pensioner I can’t afford to. I’m very disappointed.

Getting a quote was an easy and pleasant process, as Brian explained everything so well, the installation was efficient and courteous and they removed all the waste and even vacuumed the carpet. The system has given us a condensation free fresher home which is much quicker and easier to heat. Thank you DVS

I think the DVS representative gave a clear and honest appraisal of what was required to address ventilation in my brick and tile home. Installation was fast and the polite installers cleaned up the very tiny mess afterwards. Condensation stopped in the house immediately. I can feel the difference in the air quality. Thank you DVS.

Brett updated our DVS system last year and with the change in seasons (moving into winter) we needed some advice on ensuring the settings were right. DVS were excellent. Nancy made the service booking process smooth and efficient, and Levi was great when attending onsite—he replaced the filter, checked that everything was working correctly, and made sure I was happy with the service and had no issues.

Outstanding customer service
I phoned on a Friday and Kimberley was super helpful and organised same day service so our issue did not carry over into the weekend. The technician James was friendly, professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond giving us further advice about our DVS system. Would definitely recommend. Look forward to using the team again for our future requirements.

Lara was very knowledgeable and was able to provide information on the correct DVS system that would work for our house. Sam installed the DVS and walked me through how everything operated. Great service from James and Kimberley at DVS - the new DVS system (replacing old one) works brilliantly and great to be able to now know temperatures inside the roof and inside the house - also the new system seems more powerful and controls easy to operate - very pleased and would never be without our DVS

Misleading sales experience followed by a rushed install with poor positioning, disturbed insulation, and questionable electrical work. Once installed, DVS showed little interest in resolving issues and were more focused on chasing payment, and despite getting the contractor back the outcome felt like a patch-up job with no confidence it meets legal requirements.

Information on the site is clear, steps are explained properly, and I didn’t feel lost at any point. Everything was handled efficiently and without unnecessary delays

The sales person did a great job at selling me something and then I found out it wasn't all true.

While I'm glad to have home ventilation now, the $2000 addon (summer vent) that I had put in is proving to not be as useful as I had hoped, and the installers left all the garbage behind for me to dispose of without me realising.

I had been told that the air coming in the outside vent wouldn't heat up owing to the ducting being insulated. This is what ultimately sold me on the unit. However - this is not a true statement and the air DOES in fact get heated up. Now the sales person has backtracked and is saying that it 'minimised any heating', which is not what he said to me in person when he was here.

The other problem I have is that when the summer vent is left on overnight (warm night, roof still hot, thought it would be nice to get air flow) it can make the indoor humidity very high. I was told by the installers that there's no humidity sensor on the outside vent, which I guess is why the system brings in air that is more humid than inside.

The whole purpose of me getting this whole system was to reduce the humidity and bring cooler air from outside when my house heats up too much.

I still have to use my air conditioning (heat pump) unit to bring the humidity and temperature down quite a lot of the time.

It is nice to have the airflow in the house now, so the base system has been good in that regard, but it didn't reduce the humidity at all on its own and the summer vent has made the humidity worse if anything even though it does feel nice to have fresher air coming in in the evenings - it doesn't necessarily feel like it's giving its money's worth at this point (I've had the upgrade a couple of weeks so far).

Very happy with our DVS. We replaced an old HRV unit with DVS using old outlets etc. we also installed a complete new DVS in a minor dwelling on the property. This dwelling had a cold bedroom on the South side, so we had a heated ceiling vent installed.
This has made a fantastic difference keeping the room at a constant temperature.
We have also noticed a big difference in noise or lack of from both the fan units and vents. I quite often have to check the control pad to see it’s operating.
Overall very very happy with our DVS

Lara was amazing to deal with and was incredibly understanding of our budget and what we wanted for our home. The team was quick to install the system and we’ve noticed incredible improvements in our home. So happy with how warm our house feels now. Thanks DVS team!
