D W Roofing Specialists LTD Opiniones

I have had two sets of roof repairs carried out by DW over the last few months. The very heavy rainfall exposed some weaknesses that had worsened over time. Dave and his team provided detailed estimates and got on with the work in short order. I am very happy with the work, which is backed up with a 10 year guarantee. After the first part of the work, we had a small leak which was dealt with swiftly and successfully by DW, which was very re-assuring.

After being let down by another company Dave & Joe restored our faith by providing a prompt, efficient and professional service, keeping us fully informed throughout the process. The roofing team were skilled, hardworking and conscientious, including keeping the site tidy. Both Dave & Joe were knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend this company.

David visited immediately irately after the first phone call.
He did a preliminary assessment and said a full assessment would be made when scaffolding gave him access.
Scaffolding arrived the next day. Work began that day.
Roofers were quite hard working and respectful.
A fuller assessment revealed extensive work was needed ie a replacement roof.
David visited frequently and kept us up to speed with progress by sharing photos of work done.
Work completed in less than a week.
All in all a thoroughly positive experience.

Had These out to carry out ridge tile replacement and fix lifted tiles from the wind.
After inspection they showed us we had no membrane and just an aging roof felt that you’d find on your shed. This was at least fitted in the 70’s
DW showed me the photos and gave me a number of options. We decided to go with the expensive option of replacing the roof. DW didn’t pressure us and gave solid advice.
Because of the weather and removed ridge tiles DW got 5 people innit the next day. And they also worked a bank holiday due to weather changes.
The work men were helpful and kind.
Really happy with the final result.

Efficient, well organised, always kept informed, no time wasting and hard working teams. Always polite and helpful.

Excellent service, they identified an unknown problem on day 1 (under the lead so could not be seen until it came up), gave me options with timeframes and prices in a matter of minutes, day 2 the job was completed, cannot ask for a faster, more efficient team. Would recommend.

Well recommended, great team , and on budget to my quote too the timing of the whole chimney job was nice and fast
Many thanks to Dave and the team

Great job Dave. They did a great job on my rotten roof. Very quick service very clean job well recommended

Many thanks

DW Roofing Hereford. Have just completely done our roof re-using our excisting tiles. A really top quality job started on time and finished on time and on budget. The whole team were really very good and very hard working with the most important thing they all respected our home. I would definitely use them again.
From one very happy customer. Mr Paul Kelly

Excellent Roofing firm
Work all done ✔️
Very pleased would recommend 100%.

The work (replace all felting, install dry ridge & dry verge systems, repoint chimney) has been completed to a high standard and we are pleased with the end result. The manager, Dave, communicated with us very well, came on site regularly to check progress and answered all of our many questions. The roofing team worked hard and were courteous and tidy.

Work carried out very satisfactorily and with care and consideration.

Small job (suspected leaks around chimney) turned into a big one once some tiles were off and state of 80(?) year old felt could be seen. Discussed options/costs with Dave and he mobilised a large team who worked very hard to strip back whole roof. Dave was happy to discuss any concerns that we had and kept me in the loop whilst managing the job. Whole job done within 2 weeks and we were happy with it.

Very helpful and knowledgeable.
All work finished on budget.
Everything cleared up afterwards.

Having being recommended to this company from a friend, they came and give me a estimate to replace a lower section of my front farmhouse roof which we accepted,we are now very pleased with the completed work which was completed in a timely manor for the original quoted price and using a very efficient team who left the property very clean and tidy ,we therefore would be happy to recommend this company to anybody looking for a reliable and reputable roofing contractor

Three stars seems an indecisive award, but that reflects the nature of our experiences to date. On the one hand, all dealings with this company have been helpful, polite, speedy and professional. As I write, a new roof is being completed in what seems record time, and all the workmen involved have laboured really hard, with minimal breaks and great efficiency. Our reservations linger, however, over whether there really was a necessity for a complete re-roof in the first place. The original call-out was for a relatively minor matter. Reading now through all the reviews on this site, there does seem to be a recurring theme of minor, inexpensive jobs turning into major, very expensive ones, and that is our own experience. As two elderly people (one in their eighties and the other in late seventies), both of whom have had medical conditions (including pancreatic cancer), we did not feel well placed (and had no desire) either to dispute or to argue about what we were told. When tiles have been removed, scaffolding is in place and you are faced with a rapid decision as to whether to approve major repairs or not, we opted (as I suspect many people do) for safety and reassurance over protracted discussion or the sheer difficulty of obtaining second and third opinions at that stage. We had no real idea of what a realistic estimate might be. A one-thousand-pound job turned into something over twenty thousand and whether that is a fair price for re-roofing a semi-detached house or not, we still do not know. One further reservation remains and that concerns the twenty-five year guarantee. There seems to be no back-up or registration with a recognised trade body (such as FENSA for windows), so any problems in the future would simply depend on the continuing good-will (and existence) of the company and, ultimately, to be unenforceable. We believe, however, a good job is being done and only time will tell whether we are right.

Good service, repaired the roof in good time and to a good standard.

D W Roofing repaired a minor leak for me and did a solid job throughout. From my first phone call to completion took just two weeks, and I was kept informed at every stage. The price was competitive, the workmanship was good, and the roofers were polite and considerate. A reliable and straightforward service.

Very happy with the standard of work, the team were very knowledgable. Dave was really easy to communicate with and available to answer any questions too

After calling DW Roofing Dave arranged a visit to check out the problem we were having with a leaking roof over a bay window. Although the company was very busy with many jobs we were lucky that a couple of roofers had just finished a a job. Within 45 minutes Shane and Lee turned up and got on with the job, finishing it the same afternoon, to a very high standard. The work was quick and efficient, everyone we met from the company was polite and responsive to comments and questions and all materials were cleared away at the end of the job. Dave then called back round to see if we were happy with the work carried out, which we were. I can thoroughly recommend DW Roofing and would not hesitate to use them again.
