Had a new boiler fitted, guys were very professional and efficient. Took time to explain controls etc. Tidied up after themselves very well. Great experience!

Emerald Green have been really good. They have attended and fitted the new boiler in good time, we are very happy with it alongside the extra insulation in the attic.

The central heating engineers were punctual, friendly and extremely efficient. Initially there was an issue with the pump which was nobody's fault. However, the engineer made a temporary fix whilst the issue was sorted by 8am the following morning. I would definitely recommend Emerald Green to anyone thinking of replacing their central heating boiler.

Speed - received phone call Thursday, loft insulation done Friday (crew were polite, quiet and cleaned up after themselves); new boiler installed Saturday (again crew were polite, helpfully moved things out of their way when needed - although I had moved what I thought was enough they recognised that as a pensioner I was not able to move my stuff quickly enough for them, noisy at times but that couldn't be avoided obviously as they had to drill through walls). Very pleased with Emerald Green and would recommend their services to everyone.

Turned up on time. Very efficient 3 man team, worked brilliantly together. Polite and informative. Left the house clean and tidy. Couldn’t fault them, they did a great job…. And on a Sunday, which was massively appreciated.

A very professional job from start to finish with all concerned. Muhammad & his gang were friendly, curtious & knew what they were doing. ( even the parrot 🦜 got along with them ) they even tided up after them selves , like they were never here & the new boiler just appeared in the airing cupboard like magic.
Overall I was very happy & impressed with the service. Amber from the customer service team was friendly, informative & willing to help with any questions I had.
I would certainly recommend this company to anyone & if I need any future work doing, I would consider them.

The men who came to insulate the loft did a good job very polite also the men who put the new boiler in were polite and very helpful did a great job I would recommend the company to anyone

A team come out in August 2025 to fit extraction fans, new radiator valves, window vents and loft insulation. When fitting a bathroom fan, a soffit was damaged and I wasn’t made aware until they were leaving that it had com away and smashed all over my garden where my children play. Orange dust also covered my kitchen and utility room, which I was left to clean at 4pm when they finally left after coming into my property at 8am. I was told that someone would come out the next week to fix it so it didn’t cause any issues, no one come.

I was left with no paper work so it took me 2 months to track down the company and a phone number. In october I called and was told someone should have already come out and review the work, which obviously no one had. I was told that a manager would call me to get someone to come out, again, no one did. Someone eventually come out just before christmas, took photos and again told me that I would receive a phone call to fix the damage.

Over the christmas period till around the 7th January, I kept receiving phone calls from the company to install solar panels, as if I would let them touch my property again!! Still no one out to repair damage, so email was sent asking to keep all communications in writing, no response. Another email sent recently, no hope in getting a response from that either.

My bathroom now has mould that’s growing quicker than I can remove it. I have 2 kids living in the property with me which is not good for their health. As well as a massive hole in my soffit, the extractor fan doesn’t work very well which tops off this experience.

None of the upgrades have actually made a difference to my property, other than the fact that Emerald Green have now put me in a position where I’m going to have to pay someone to fix the soffits and sort the mould out in my bathroom, as it’s been 6 months with shocking communication and no repair.

EDIT: I keep getting phone calls and messages to take my review down, however I don’t feel that is very ethical as my house was treated poorly in August 2025 and feel like people could avoid issues arising from work that doesn’t make a difference to your house.

On other other hand, I will add that work was carried out in my property in March 2026 to resolve issues. A board was placed into my soffits to patch up a hole and cladding was placed on my bathroom ceiling. Upon inspection, the team who come out all realised that the bathroom vent had been placed in the wrong position making the pipe too long, thus rendering the vent as not working effectively. The team moved the vent and rewired it properly, now the vent can be heard when turned on. I have been assured that the team fixed the damp issue before placing the cladding, I shall soon find out if this is true when my bathroom gets replaced and the cladding has to come down. It’s a shame it took the company 7 months to fix issues that should not have been there in the first place, otherwise this review would have more stars.

Professional service from start to finish. The team removed the old equipment and cleared away all rubbish, leaving everything clean and tidy. The installers were friendly, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I’m satisfied with the work carried out and would definitely recommend them.

The application was straight forward, the loft boiler installation happened after a month after the survey of the house. After 2 weeks of installation, I can feel the difference, as the house is warmer and reduce my expenses in half.

It was all completed in two days. Both installers arrived and worked tirelessly and cleaned up after themselves. Installed new boiler heating valves and replaced old pipes.
A truly fantastic new boiler and loft insulation.
It’s so nice to have a warm house again after 2months and would highly recommend.

They attended my properly on the 3rd Feb, on arrival and throughout the day they were very polite and explained everything they did. Afterwards they cleaned up after themselves and left minimal mess behind. I would highly recommend this company!

Emerald Green have done a great job installing our new boiler and our 30's house is far more cosy now! The installation team had a tricky job removing the old carthorse of a boiler (floorstanding in a corner of the kitchen) and they had to dismantle most of the kitchen to get it out. However they worked hard and got it done, and then managed to put the kitchen back together more or less unharmed. The installers discussed all the options about where the pipes and flue would go to make the job as tidy as possible which I really appreciated, as not all of it went according to plan. After installation they explained all the settings and programs for the new boiler and it is working fine.

My only critisism is that the planning was a quite sketchy - no surveyors, engineers or gas experts visited our property before the job or looked at the logistics. The location of the floorstanding boiler seemed to be a surprise to the installers and so were the solar panels on the roof where they had assumed the flue would go out, although I had warned them about this several times in advance and asked for a visit by an engineer to plan the job properly. This made the job far more difficult for the installation team and I'm glad we booked 2 days into the diary to get it done. An electrician is following up to connect the boiler in - and check wiring / eathing is done properly. All good!

Communication with Emerald Green is not straightforward - lots of people on mobile phones and just one office number where you have to leave a message and hope someone will call you back. Not sure how customer care will work if there's a problem down the line.

Once found out funding was granted in December after dealing with an employee who has now left, Emerald energy were quick to get a date sorted, it was a 2 day job and the 2 lads turned up on time and cracked straight on with it.They were polite all the time and did a fantastic job, the new boiler was up and running in the 2 days and new valves fitted to the radiators as well, brilliant to have a warm house for my mother after 3 months and would highly recommend
