Amazing service - excellent communications
The Bike was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Very Happy with this purchase, a real bargain.

Buying a second hand bike via other methods can be very hit and miss but this way you have total confidence with the support and guarantee from eBikeBuyer.

Delivery was very smooth with constant messages and updates from the carrier about the time and day of delivery. The van driver and his mate were very polite and helpful and turned up within a minute of their ETA

The process from obtaining a quotation to shipping the bike was conducted in a highly efficient and professional manner. Every stage—from initial inquiry to final logistics—was seamless and well-coordinated.

However, the experience was notably affected by issues surrounding payment receipt. The initial payment was delayed by a day or two, which I had to follow-up.

It is important to clarify that the 45-day payment guideline refers to the date when inspection of the bike is completed, rather than the date the item is received. The bike appeared as “Out of Stock” on the company’s website on 7th October 2025, which was almost two weeks earlier than the 45th-day benchmark (in this instance, 20th October 2025). Explicit clarification of this inspection timeline in the company’s FAQs would be beneficial to future customers.

After confirming the sale via email on 7th October, the company communicated that a buyer had been found and funds were pending clearance. Unfortunately, the payment deadline was missed twice, leading to a cycle of repeated follow-ups and delayed updates—a process that proved frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming.

Ultimately, the balance payment was received on 24th October 2025. This experience appears to be an isolated case. Had the final payment been processed within the outlined timeframes, the entire transaction would have warranted a five-star rating for professionalism and service quality.

I was pretty dubious of using but positive reviews a bit of research and TRC advertising swayed me as I needed a quick sale and didn't want any hassle/ have time to deal with time wasters etc.

I got a fair offer, accepted and the bike was collected and paid for within a few days.

I Cant recommend this company enough. I was dubious about private selling my ebike so trusted this company. They sent everything I needed to package up the bike. Great communication. Bike sold earlier than the 45 days and money received. Great instructions on how to package. Great courier service they used. Also quoted a very reasonable price for my bike considering they covered packaging and shipping costs and I didn't have the hassle of arranging a buyer.

I decided to go with ebikebuyer.com after reading the many positive reviews, and I’m really glad I did. I wanted to avoid the hassle of negotiating and going back and forth with private buyers, so their service was a perfect fit.

I submitted my bike details and received a valuation that I felt was very fair. Once I confirmed I wanted to proceed, the packaging arrived the very next day, and the collection of the bike was swift and efficient. After inspecting the bike, they informed me of a couple of minor repairs that slightly adjusted the final valuation. This was handled transparently and reasonably, and I was happy to proceed.

My bike was listed on their site and sold within a week. Although there was a delay in the funds being transferred, the company took all the right steps to resolve the issue which was out of their control and even offered a £50 goodwill gesture for the inconvenience.

So far my experience with this company has been good . My bike was delivered fast and as described. I rang them a few times for advice and they were very helpful .

I really didn't get on with an eMTB I bought and struggled with timewasters on FB etc. Was pretty wary about sending in with no real assurance that I would get my money but checked various things out and felt confident enough to post (FedEx tracked which they sorted). Got initial payment quickly which gave a bit more confidence. Waited a while for the bike to sell and for final balance but it came swiftly once the bike sold. Still had some worry right up to that point but had no reason for it in the end. I checked trustpilot and forums which reassured me so hope my review can reassure someone else.

As for value -- you don't get what you do going private but it's pretty straightforward and I don't think the price I was paid was insulting.

Brilliant company. I looked for an ebike on eBay and market place for a couple of weeks, I came across ebikebuyer.com and found a bike priced well under any other site , I must admit I was a bit dubious about buying without seeing the bike in person and all the scams going about, but did my research on the company (trust pilot etc ) and went ahead with the purchase.

Review for Specialized Turbo Vado 3.0. I waited a month before writing this review just to make sure there were no issues with the bike. It was advertised as pristine and with next day delivery. It turned up when promised and when I took it out of the box it was as if it had just come directly from Specialized, it was absolutely immaculate. I ran a battery check and it's also at 100% health. My daughter has been using it everyday to get to school and back and loves it. I cannot recommend eBikeBuyer highly enough!

I was selling. If you can wait a short while for your final balance whilst they sell your bike, ebikebuyer is perfect. They gave me a very fair price and made very little on it themselves.
The bike was beautifully presented on their website.
They answer the phone when you call them. The packaging system worked well. I really could not fault them.

Tim at eBikeBuyer was absolutely brilliant. I had endless problems with my deceased relative's almost new electric bike as I didn't have a clue where to start, and I lost count of the number of times I phoned for advice on how to deal with them, he was always extremely helpful and never got annoyed with my questions. Received my ebike 3 working days after ordering. Had constant updates from the delivery company. Had a small issue with something being loose but customer support were helfpul and reimbursed me for the issues quickly.

So I found the bike I wanted at my local bike shop for £2495. 10 minutes on google found the same at £1995 online. I then stumbled across ebikebuyer.com who had the same model at £1499, in as new condition with just 3 miles on the clock. I was initially sceptical about dealing with an organisation with a PO box address and 0800 number but thought for the price saving it was worth a punt if I used a credit card to give me some protection. I need not have worried. The bike turned up inside 2 working days, condition exactly as described and very well packed. Everything works perfectly, the bike is unmarked and effectively new. Remains to be seen how well the warranty process works should I have any issues but to date the experience has been entirely positive and the bike was an absolute bargain.

All completed via the Internet without issue and arrived well packaged and exactly as described.
I haven't tested the warranty so can't comment on that. But the rest of the service has been straightforward and hassle free.
