Eclat Emporium 

Like a lot of others, I can't understand why I didn't look up this company on Truspilot before ordering. Feel like an idiot. The problems I encountered:
1. The description of what I ordered did not match what was sent (in terms of materials and material quality)
2. Their pictures are AI generated, not real people / models wearing the clothes (so of course the pictures don't match what was sent!)
3. They say "free delivery within UK" to make you think their warehouse is in UK but in fact it is Hong Kong, and they insist on you paying the cost of shipping any returns back to Hong Kong
4. Delivery took 4 weeks (rather than 2 weeks indicated).
5. They try as much as possible to delay your refund process if you ask for one (I asked for refund, they asked for a picture of the clothes, I sent and asked again for refund, they offered for me to buy anything else on their site, I insisted on refund and they offered a discount on me purchasing other clothes)

I've since had the charge reversed on my credit card on the basis that I was misled into buying clothes that were falsely displayed and described and advertised. In these circumstances, you are entitled to a refund and you should not have to bear cost of returning items (Consumer Rights Act 2015).

I've asked them to send me a freepost label or have a courier come to collect their clothes. I've got my money back and I'm waiting for their response (my guess is they don't bother to respond to me or pay for their poor quality items to be returned to them). I'll update this if anything further happens.

I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing crap from this website. I saw this nice tracksuit and I was looking forward to rocking up to the gym in my sexy new tracksuit. Lo and behold, when it arrived, I wished it hadn’t. I was shocked, it was basically a poorly made pair of pyjamas. What a scam.

Don't ever buy anything from these people. Ordered an XXL coat for 90 quid and when it arrived it would barley fit an action man figure. I paid another 30 pounds postage to send it back to get my money back. 6 months later it appears on my doorstep with more stamps than Lara crofts passport. I want to thumb someone's eyes out

Like all other reviews suggest I’d avoid this company. The quality is shocking and the customer service is non existent when you challenge the quality. Make it impossible to get your money back. Absolute fraudsters and need closed down.

I purchased a Coat …. £69 , not a small sum . When it arrived it was no better than something you buy from a market stall for £12.99! I wrote and complained several times before getting a curt answer … send it back but it will cost you ! I refused to spend any more with the Company so more emails were sent I was eventually offered a 100% voucher off an alternative which reluctantly I used but it never worked . Four months later , many , many emails later I got my full refund. Never stop trying or better still never buy from this Company.

I bought an XL hoodie for Christmas which turned up in January and it was made for a child. They responded by email to my return request and offered something else as the return was too expensive for me. I picked something else that never came. I think we should do all we can to try and shut them down? They're clearly ripping people off. Not one good review and breaches trust pilots terms?? Seems odd they are allowed to keep their website running!

Brought two items, both was terrible quality and both was the wrong size. I asked to return the items, they offered me to keep the items as it was too much hassle sending them back and I could pick out another product worth the same value to the ones I brought and they will send it to make up for the two wrong items. I picked out the product I would have liked and sent it back to them to realise that I was never going to get a reply back after multiple attempts. Don’t bother shopping here you’re dealing with a bunch of clowns.

I ordered a dress which when it eventually arrived looked nothing like the one in the picture, poor quality and no customer service. I asked to return within the 7 days then they asked for photos of the dress they sold me. I now email daily but was offered money off another item rather than return to China at my cost which I was not aware of. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Absolute nightmare isn’t there no regulation for advertising this companies products
Not at all what you see on the websites sizes are terrible medium size would be xs nd the sleeves nearly at elbow level
Quality not worth it
Just spénd £80 on a jacket of that description trying to return it they don’t provide a return address making all kinds of excuses
Wish I had read the reviews please don’t buy anything from them total scammers

Eclat Emporium is a nightmare FAKE company. I suggest you look at their reviews (99% of one star only) before even considering buying anything from them. They need reporting and their website taken down.
If you need to return the items you will be asked to return them to China at YOUR OWN EXPENSE.

Absolutely appalling quality, ordered two jacket that fit nothing like what they look like ,,one of the button fell off as soon as I undid it ! ,customer service "Eden" is about as good as a Chocolate fire guard! Seems to not reed the emails properly at all and sends generic response,no interest in actually addressing the problem at all ,why should the customer pay to return the item is to china (that I wasn't aware of at the timeas it wasn't on the website but conveniently after I mentioned it ,it then appeared on it) for faulty items received
These scam artists have made away with my £90

My wife ordered me 2 pairs of jogging bottoms for Christmas….one arrived late in mid January and the other has yet to dispatch (mid Feb at the time of writing). Upon asking for a refund for the missing pair we were told that it has been delivered. Total scam and really rude customer service.

I ordered from this company thinking that they were based in Europe, but it seems they are not. They took my money immediately. After 2 weeks, I chased my order and they replied (after a few days) saying that they could not supply the items I ordered, but that they would offer me a voucher to order similar products. I asked them to issue a refund and chased the refund twice. Unfortunately I am yet to hear from them. Please stay clear from this company.

Avoid this Company like the plague!

I've been waiting 8 weeks for them to provide me with details of how to return the jacket I purchased, but they just throw obsticle after obsticle in the way.

It is clearly their business model to make returning goods so costly and expensive that people give up.

The jacket itself was poorly made and ludicrously small for what was supposed to be a mens' medium. It was too small for my 10 year old son.

(But left it too late to return as it was a Christmas gift for my husband I bought in early Dec.)
(Would also cost a small fortune to return to HONG KONG! But this was not obviously where they were based when I looked at their website and returns policy, it sounded UK or European)
Bet they use slave labour as well and aren't environmentally friendly.
Why can't consumers in the UK be protected from companies like this?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THIEVES. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF SUEING THEM FOR STRESS THAT THEY HAVE CAUSED. I HAVE GIVEN THEM A WEEK TO REFUND MY MONEY STARTING TODAY. WATCH THIS SPACE.

Horrible company. Worst experience ever. I ordered a black jacket which was disgusting. They offered me a refund but I have now not heard from them in 3 weeks after chasing multiple times.

Disgusting cheap falling apart jumper that stinks. I really cannot understand how this company is getting away with this. I will be taking this to Trading Standards and further. Very very bad. STAY AWAY !!!!!!

I would give nothing to them, I have ordered a fleece jacket worth £60 pound waited for the delivery texted them when it didn’t arrived on after the time period which is almost 2 weeks and when I got reply from them they said it’s in transit. Then waited for next few days and then they replied sorry the product is not available and you can choose something else or get discount code . I mean this is torture . I asked for my refund and from last many days they are not even responding to my mails.

If only I’d read reviews before I bought. I ordered a men’s XL for my partners Christmas present and they sent me a women’s medium. They then asked for photo proof so I sent a photo of him with it on and then me wearing it. They offered me 50% refund as long as ut eventually arrives in china and return costs down to me. Just thieves!!!! Terrible company
