Ecogreen Movers DO NOT USE
I used Ecogreen Movers, based in Manchester, which came up on Getamover, and unfortunately, they were completely inept. The website must be fake because they did not turn up in a van like is shown in the images, so this is all AI or ChatGPT. The staff weren't even in proper uniforms. The so-called professionals who turned up had no idea of the information I spent days constantly having to re-tell the office, which was an absolute drain. In the process of orchestrating a huge move to another area of the country and doing it alone, to have people who couldn't handle some of the information and kept asking the same questions had me starting to raise concerns and doubts, which I directly told them. I even sent aerial shots of the building and where they needed to park. The head guy, Adam, still turned up and didn't know where he was going. He didn't know a lot of information that I had given. I am not sure if it's his lax attitude or if the office doesn't hand anything over. He started with a very young boy called Sam and a woman to take things from my apartment. I was very surprised sometime later when I went to move my car to find my items blocking the hallways, no one supervising them, and that Sam had reversed his van right up the ramp to the back door, which was also blocked with my items. So I had to get them and ask for things to be moved so I could step through to get to my car. I have no idea how other residents of the building managed. There was also a long period of time they were all in the apartment and no one was checking or watching the van with all my valuables in or the items in the hallway when anything could be stolen. When explaining how new the settee was and the fact it had a special pack I had left out to pack around the console as it has an iPad in it, he listened to me briefly. But then when it came to dismantling it and taking it out, it turned out they had packed the special protection and it couldn't be found. The next best thing I could find and gave them, I came back to find on the floor, which I then made them take. Then, taking one of the chairs out, they were slapdash and quick, not being delicate. They managed to rip a radiator off the wall and the power cord ripped out the bottom of the chair! There was no apology or "we best check the chair still works" or "sorry, have we caused any damage"... nothing!
None of this behavior mentioned so far is what I would expect from what they say is a professional firm.
When I first saw the van, I was astonished. It was some old, beaten-up looking thing that looked like something borrowed, and it made sense why they had taken so long to tell me what size vehicle was coming and what size team, because I kept asking as the office told me when sorting a quote that they provide this information, but they don't until pushed at the final hour.
They took a five-hour break when I was moving to another part of the country!
I set off before them; they arrived with my items at 21:10 and left at 1:20 a.m.
They didn't check I had somewhere to sit and be comfortable. Adam, in particular, was sulking and in a bad mood. They left items outside, some on damp turf. One of my expensive chairs for the new settee was left on concrete slabs with the speakers straight onto it. As if that wasn't bad enough, they then added weight by piling things on top, and they did it without protecting the chairs, even though it is a special material. It was unbelievable, and I paid big money to move, so I was completely blown away. There are too many things to list here about what they did and didn't do. I have an ongoing complaint which I hope is dealt with accordingly. The main points to also mention if you are looking at firms are that they don't invite customers to leave reviews, so the positive ones could be left by anyone. I've read that either on Trustpilot or Google.
They damaged my wardrobe so badly, which they were supposed to reassemble. Instead, they left it half-assembled (without telling me), and then it had to be thrown away. They have lost the legs to my new settee, so it has been left upended as it can't be put together. It is in three pieces and needs the legs on it to be put on the floor as it has speakers. The whole thing was a nightmare; their attitude was awful. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Also, to add insult to injury, they were supposed to organize new settee legs and haven't done so. I paid a lot of money for three people and a Luton Van, and when they arrived with my items after their five-hour break and us waiting four hours for them at the other end, there were only two people. They then wanted to load everything into one room, so they didn't want to go upstairs. They are a joke of a company. I would not recommend them to anyone for the removal of a rabbit hutch from one end of the garden to another! DO NOT USE IT; IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

We have already reviewed initial information from the team involved, including job notes and footage taken prior to the move. Based on the information reviewed so far, we strongly dispute several of the claims made. We also note that some points raised require further clarification and proper review before any conclusions can be reached.
We strongly dispute any suggestion that EcoGreen Movers is not a genuine company, that our website is not genuine, or that our reviews are not legitimate. These are serious and damaging statements, and we do not accept them.
We also strongly dispute the claim or suggestion that a minor was part of the removal team. EcoGreen Movers does not send minors to carry out removal work, and we do not accept this statement as accurate.
We do not accept the description of our vehicle as a fair or accurate reflection. The vehicle used has been used for many genuine EcoGreen moves, and we have not previously received feedback describing it in the manner stated. While we take presentation and professionalism seriously, we do not accept exaggerated descriptions being used to misrepresent our operation.
As previously advised, your complaint is being handled through the correct complaints process. Complaints require the stated number of working days to be reviewed properly. This allows us time to speak with the team involved, review job notes, assess timings, communications, photographs, footage, on-site information, and any supporting evidence before a formal outcome is issued.
Until that process is complete, any claims regarding damage, conduct, professionalism, handling of goods, communication, timings, missing items, or alleged service failures remain subject to investigation and should not be treated as confirmed facts.
We ask for your cooperation and patience while the complaints process is completed. Making serious and unverified allegations before the investigation has concluded does not assist the process and may unfairly affect our business, our team, and our reputation.
EcoGreen Movers remains willing to communicate constructively and work towards an amicable resolution where genuine issues are identified. However, we will also take appropriate steps to protect our company, our team, and our reputation where statements are inaccurate, misleading, exaggerated, or damaging.
We also reserve the right to escalate the matter to legal communication where necessary. EcoGreen Movers does not take serious, damaging, or unverified public allegations lightly, particularly where they may misrepresent our business, our staff, or the service provided.
A formal response will be provided once the complaints review has been completed.

The the chaps arrived promptly at 8am. They were curteous, efficient & friendly.
Everything went smoothly from the removal company end, there was a bit of hassle my end and I had to change unloading location to a storage unit close by. They obliged without a fuss. Highly recommended, Thank you 😃

Excellent service from start to finish
We recently used Eco Green Removals for our house move in Manchester and were very impressed with the service throughout.
After requesting quotes through a comparison website, I was contacted within a couple of minutes. Communication was excellent throughout, with prompt updates via both WhatsApp and email.
Jess was very helpful during the quotation stage, answering questions and providing clear, transparent information. While Luna did a great job coordinating the move and organising the team.
On moving day, Adam and his team were absolutely brilliant. They worked efficiently, handled our belongings with care, and packed and moved everything smoothly without any issues. Their professionalism and hard work made the whole moving process much less stressful.
Thank you to the entire Eco Green team for a fantastic service. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a house move.

Great experience
We had a very good experience with Ecogreen movers. From the initial quote, communication was consistent throughout via email and telephone. The team responded well to unforeseen circumstances and were considerate and understanding. The movers themselves (Adam and the rest) were exceptional in terms of unloading and loading our items.
