No recomiendo utilizar intermediarios como economybooking, para alquilar coches en nombre de otra empresa. Me han cobrado 20 € por la gestión, que en ningún sitio específica que seria el importe del alquiler mas dicha comisión. Es la primera vez que me pasa y ante la impotencia, solo me queda que advertir lo que os puede pasar. Que tenga tan buenas reseñas y nadie se queje, me extraña mucho.

A €20 management fee that only became clear once you were already at checkout is exactly the sort of detail that leaves people feeling caught out. With intermediary bookings, the rental price and any service commission are meant to be shown separately before you confirm, so the full amount should be visible up front. If that split wasn’t obvious on your booking, that’s a fair point to raise. If you’d like it checked against the reservation, our support team through the Help Center can review the confirmation details.

Those extra options can be a bit fiddly to untangle, and it sounds like they made the booking less clear than it should’ve been. Appreciate you flagging it. Extras are usually chosen during the booking flow, so the remove step isn’t always as obvious as it ought to be before checkout. If you were looking at a specific booking, the Help Center can check what was added and whether it can still be adjusted.

Son intermediarios, la peor opción!
No tiene ningún beneficio alquilar a través de ellos. Son intermediarios.
En mi caso contraté un seguro de cobertura total. Desafortunada te granizó dañando el coche. La letra pequeña decía que por desastre natural no quedaba cubierto.
Al devolver el coche en la agencia me dijeron que si hubiera tomado el seguro directo con ellos no hubiera habido ningún problema.
No lo recomiendo. Primero pagas los daños y luego hacen un estudio si te hacen devolución o no.
Contraten directamente con la agencia de alquiler no con ningún intermediario.
Incluso cuando pasó el incidente llamé y me dijeron que no habría problema en la devolución. Devuelvo el coche, pago los daños y después de hacer todo el proceso ( varias horas recopilando toda la información que piden), pasadas dos semanas responden negativamente.
Es lo firmado y no me queda otra que aguantarme, pero insisto. Mucho más seguro y recomendable arrendar directo con la agencia y no con intermediarios como economybookings...
Respuesta a su mensaje: está claro que son los términos que acepté, bajo la experiencia ocurrida por eso recomiendo encarecidamente que NADIE les contraté. Hubo otros casos como el mio pero tenían el seguro con la aseguradora y a pesar de ser desastre natural quedaron cubiertos. Ustedes solo son intermediarios ... que lo firmé? Si. También es mala suerte lo de los granizos. Eso si, nunca más con empresas como la suya...

Full Coverage is a reimbursement-based product, so damage charges are usually paid to the supplier first and then reviewed against the booking terms you accepted. If the policy excludes natural events like hail, the claim can be declined even after you’ve spent hours sending the documents in. If you want the case looked at against the booking terms, our support team via the Help Center on the website can review the counter notes and the claim decision.

Seeing the total land in euros only at the end is frustrating. On the booking page, the billing currency should be shown before you confirm, so you can see what you’ll actually be charged; if your bank then adds an exchange rate or foreign transaction fee, that part sits with the card issuer rather than the booking platform. If the display wasn’t clear enough on your side, that’s a fair point to raise. Hope the rest of the trip was easier than the currency piece.

In some bookings, the final amount can move if taxes, selected extras, or the billing currency are added before payment is completed; after that, any exchange-rate difference comes from the bank or card issuer.
